One word of advice that if you decide to stay outside to watch and learn and look into the tank to see the before and after you will feel nausuous. Right on time Saturday morning we have two Rooter Tech, plumbers here and ready to go. After explaining the scrub head sucking, toilet situation and for asking to add a tank rebuild to the estimate/project, they got to work. It didn't take too long before they came back with a price that was fair, to do the work. Rooter Tech, was the third plumbing contractor we got an estimate from and it was worth it to hold out for the right people. Update 2/20/26…read more Unfortunately, despite Jarel coming out and securing the toilet again, in just a few days it started to move again and this time it leaked. Now, I want to provide a fair review so please consider the points below: I called Jarel and let him know. He responded very quickly and offered to come out the following week to evaluate. At this point I decided to reach out to another contractor (and because I had an active leak that couldn't wait). The trouble with this toilet is that we do have a very slight slope on that floor, so I cannot fault Jarel 100%, and I do feel he would genuinely try to fix the issue, but in the end I do think the toilet should have been properly leveled in the beginning (or even second time around) to avoid this, and is ending up costing us extra (time, money, and stress) to correct. I hope that this review does not paint the business in a bad light, I'm sure Jeral is a competent plumber (our other 2 toilets work just fine), and he was nice and apologetic about this experience, but I hope this review provides an opportunity for reflection and improved service for future customers. -------------------------------------------------- 6 month update. The upstairs toilets are working no problem. The downstairs one started moving a little bit with pressure. I reached out to Jarel and he responded right away, was out in a couple of days and took the toilet off and we found that the outer ring of the flange broke at the bolt. He bought a repair ring and installed everything back within a week. Everything is working again and he didn't charge me a dime (I offered, he didn't take it). Donny was extremely thorough in identifying the issue and diagnosed that the unit I had was not the right size for my home. In addition the piping was inefficient and not up to code. They offered to refund the prior install, designed a sleek solution with a new combi boiler and somehow managed to make everything fit perfectly into the very small mechanical room in my home. This was a complicated install made even more challenging by the small space, but Donny's workmanship and problem-solving was excellent. They were able to accommodate my schedule, finished on time and were collaborative with me throughout the process and helped me land on a solution and price that I was satisfied with. My home has never been this comfortably heated in the winter before while not compromising on hot water in the bathroom and kitchen.
