I've had them do quite a lot to my home over the last few months. they installed A/C, some…read moreelectrical outlets in my garage and then a 50A 220V circuit. I'd like to say it all went perfectly smooth but, that would be wrong. there were some hiccups along the way. the A/C didn't play nice with our furnace. they did get it working correctly but, it took an extra day or maybe 2... I don't really recall. communication was excellent through the process and in the end, we were very happy with the work. fast forward a month or so and I officially decided I had enough of not enough outlets in the garage. I got a quote for several things at once (my bad... got serious sticker shock) but, my wife when she guessed at the price was dead on the spot. we had some (not all) of that work done and it was excellent. seriously happy with all of it. next, we got a call from some kind of scheduler so we could get a few things done as part of the [free] contract that was given to us since we had the A/C put in. they came out, flushed the water heater, inspected under the house, faucets, toilets (fixed how one flushes because he was there) and made some recommendations. most of what he was suggesting was serious upsell and I wanted none of that. there were 2 things that I would have agreed to but, we haven't had that done yet. the first item was some leaking outdoor faucets. should be simple and straight forward repair. the other, our dishwasher can create a stinky drain as it is not properly vented. this is where it got weird. we've got custom ONE PIECE counter tops and the part of it that has the sink is L-shaped and pushing 30 Feet long. he wanted to drill it to add the baffle to the drain for the dishwasher. I wasn't comfortable with that really expensive counter top being drilled and asked for some kind of alternative. he refused stating that code stated it HAS to go through the countertop. hum... I need to look into it and see if that's accurate. there were some other little things along that adventure that I didn't appreciate but, not important enough to write it out in this really long review. lastly and most importantly is why they still got a 5-star review from me in spite of that [what felt to me like a disastrous] plumbing adventure. when the 220V circuit was added to my garage I wasn't happy in the least. I called them up, expressed my concern and they made time to come out and look and also to talk to me about it. Need to be really clear that the work was not done in any way that could be even remotely unsafe, that wasn't the problem. they listened to what I had to say, understood my position and then they took care of it right on the spot even though it required removing and redoing the whole job. I can seriously get behind a company that will stand behind their work in this fashion. you could say it was kind of the same thing when the A/C didn't initially work. they didn't give up, and now we've got good A/C.

I hired Harts Services for a bathroom sink that would not drain. Unfortunately, what should have…read morebeen a relatively straightforward plumbing issue turned into an expensive and frustrating experience. When the technician arrived, he did not initially inspect or attempt to unclog the sink. Instead, he immediately went into our crawl space and, after approximately 15 minutes, returned with a quote of $27,000 to replace plumbing underneath our home. We were stunned and declined. The technician then began reducing the scope and price, almost like negotiating with a used-car salesman. We eventually agreed to approximately $5,400 to replace up to 35 feet of galvanized water piping with PEX and replace bathroom ABS drain piping. Afterward, I contacted other plumbers and learned that we were paying at the high end for this type of work. When I attempted to cancel, Harts informed me that because we had signed the contract, we were locked in. What disappointed me most, however, was the quality of workmanship and lack of attention to detail. After the crew completed the job and left, I turned on the bathroom sink--the very reason I had called them--and it still would not drain! The original technician returned and indicated that the crew had not followed his instructions. They had to schedule another visit three days later to finally resolve the issue. Additionally, faucet aerators throughout our home became clogged with debris following the work, requiring us to remove and clean them ourselves. For nearly $5,400, I would expect a plumbing company to verify that everything was functioning properly before leaving. Since the repairs, we have also experienced increasingly frequent gurgling in our sinks when running the dishwasher, in our bathtub and shower when running the washing machine, and occasionally when flushing the toilet. These symptoms raise concerns about a possible unresolved drainage or venting issue. When I recently contacted Harts about these ongoing problems, I was told I would have to pay another service fee for them to investigate because they did not consider the issues related to their previous work. My biggest complaint is not simply the high price--it is that the quality of service, communication, and follow-through did not justify what we paid. The original problem was not resolved on the first visit, basic fixture checks appeared to have been overlooked, and now we are experiencing additional plumbing problems that the company is unwilling to investigate without another charge. I understand that quality plumbing work can be expensive, and I am willing to pay for it. However, premium pricing should come with premium workmanship and customer service, and that was not my experience with Harts Services. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly encourage homeowners to obtain multiple estimates and consider smaller, reputable local plumbing companies before committing to expensive repairs

The original installer was no longer around and it turned out they had made some mistakes in the installation causing the breakage of a part due to water and dust in the coolant because there was no filter dry installed. Then I found 2 sons and I am so glad I did. 2 SONS sent Steven over and he really knows heat pumps. While scheduling the appointment, I have just been told, that because I said, "I didn't think it's heating like it should" That I now have to make an appointment for a " repair technician" that will cost $100+ for the visit. The "free" appointment that I pay for every month is only for the once a year visit by the "maintenance and safety technician" and because I simply said I don't think t's working quite like it should" now I have to pay $100+ for this visit. UPDATE: I believe it is important to update my original…read morereview based on the company's response to my concerns. After I posted my review, Jeff, the manager, personally contacted me regarding my experience. He was kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic about how my service call was handled. Jeff explained that company policy requires customers to be informed of service charges before any work is performed and acknowledged that this did not happen in my case. He stated that he addressed the matter with the employee involved to help ensure it does not happen again. Most importantly, Jeff took immediate steps to make the situation right and offered me a full refund. I have since checked my credit card account and the refund is currently pending. While I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by my initial experience, I am equally impressed by the company's willingness to take responsibility, listen to a customer complaint, and take corrective action. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how a company responds to those mistakes speaks volumes about its character. I appreciate Jeff's professionalism and commitment to customer service. Based on the way this matter was resolved, I do not believe the company intends to take advantage of its customers, and I am grateful for their efforts to rectify the situation. Original: They were quick to respond to my request for service. However, the pricing was, in my opinion, unreasonable and bordering on unethical for less than five minutes of work. The technician used a high-powered snake to unclog a toilet and charged nearly $400 for the service. When I called, I was only informed of a $50 service call fee that would be applied toward any work performed. No one provided an estimate or discussed the potential cost of a simple toilet clog before the work was completed. The technician arrived, assessed the problem, fixed it within minutes, and then left briefly before returning with a tablet showing a bill for almost $400. I was genuinely shocked. Had I been informed of the cost beforehand, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision. I feel taken advantage of and believe the pricing was excessive for the service provided. Unfortunately, my lack of knowledge about plumbing costs came at a high price. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and sharing my experience so that other consumers can make informed decisions before agreeing to service.

Counting the business owner, three plumbers came today. This time my initial request was to replace two faucets. The plumbers who came to give an estimate a week ago discovered that the cold water valve needed replacing. Notice must be given to building residents 3-4 days in advance of water shutoffs per my HOA rules. A few months after the first time I needed this plumbing company, a contractor working on remodeling my kitchen should have found the valve problem. But since he did not, the silver lining is the quality of the work by this company. I have complete faith that the replacement valve will work perfectly since they installed it. They showed me the plastic valve they replaced and how it would not turn at all. We all liked the faucets I chose for them to install. In the bathroom my glass waterfall faucet has LED lights to indicate cold, warm and hot water. After installing it the plumber showed me a video of the lights working before I went in to try it myself. The kitchen faucet is a Moen which looks nice to start with, and has some great functionality. As the handle is turned for the water the head floats down a little. Then it is possible to select an angle for the head to remain, for example 45 degrees. It will stay in the selected position while the water runs. The owner took a video for himself! Besides the top quality of the work, I appreciate the polite and respectful manners of the owner and all the plumbers.
