I can't believe I'm the first person to review Barnett's Propane Service! They're great!
Here's the thing: maybe you don't expect much from your propane provider (and maybe you get just that).
But maybe you might find yourself, as I did, dealing with a propane company that's, for one reason or another, not treating you well. Maybe they tore up your driveway or missed a leak, or turned a deaf ear to your billing complaints, or maybe their manager was, shall we say, less than gracious when they messed up. Maybe you're just sick of paying a unit rate that's above the national average.
With Barnett's, I really doubt that any of those things will ever happen to you.
I had an unusual situation that lasted almost a year; the end result was my becoming a Barnett's customer. Because of the circumstances, I had occasion, over an extended amount of time, to interact with quite a few of their people at the office and in the field. Every single contact I had was upbeat, professional, and competent.
I'm thrilled to be able to support a local business, especially one that's honest, hardworking, and pleasant. I'm looking forward to a long and satisfying connection to Barnett's.
UPDATE: A couple of weeks back, smack in the middle of an extraordinary heat wave, we experienced a breakdown on the road up to Mt. Lemmon. Just getting to a place with cell service to try calling around for a tow was a huge frustration. Nearly every place we called either didn't want to drive up there or had a many-hours wait to get there (which wasn't an option, since we'd had to leave three people up on the hill with no way to keep cool). Then, one place that claimed to be able to help turned out to be a scam - what kind of person does that?!? - and we were option-less... until we called Barnett's, who runs a tow operation as well as propane. We had avoided calling them at first since they're based pretty far from that part of town, but they somehow got a guy to our car in about twenty minutes and - this is the part that really stood out for me - even though we were totally at their mercy, the driver was polite and competent (he loaded the car up efficiently and safely like it wasn't even 112 degrees) *and* the bill, in the end, was extraordinarily reasonable. They charge by the hour and we were so worried that they'd take advantage of our vulnerability (and the relatively long distance they had to transport the car) to rack up an astronomical bill, but nothing like that happened. Nobody ever likes to have to get a car towed, but I guarantee that if I every need a tow again, Barnett's will be my *first* call! read more
