Job well done! I was given this company as an authorized…read moredealer/ technician to repair my Diakin leaking evaporated coil. Once the call was made it was "Boots on the ground" because Ms, Christy was able to get me scheduled that day(4-6pm). However, she did better and called me back to ask if she could send a technician within 30 mins. (Yay!!) I was inside my home with temp at 87 degrees. Mike and Tarion were professional as they diagnosed the issue. Mike did a great job explaining to me what the problem was and confirmed my warranty information. He also took pictures from the attic to show me what was going on with the coil. I was given a quote for the work. This is where I didn't quite understand why it was so pricey given Chat GPT was providing the average cost much less. I spoke with Tony, and he provided the breakdown for the estimate for the labor cost. The two men were good and I appreciate Drew and Sam for their hard work and willingness to make sure all my questions were answered. They were professional and friendly and very nice guys. They were quick because it took 2.5 hours to complete the job. Because of that, I overlooked the very expensive labor fee. :-) I would give the company a five star if I felt they showed complete transparency with their labor fees per hour. I know most companies do not want to disclose that information, but this provides the consumer with a sense of respect and not being taken advantage of the situation. I feel this would be a fair. All that to say is, I am happy to be back in a cool home. I now have a home warranty. All I pay is a deductible. :-)

I called my home warranty company, and they sent out some guys who said I had a bunch of major problems that they didn't fix and the warranty didn't cover. Told me to call someone else. I called Terry at the suggestion of my dad, and he came out and told me none of that stuff the first company said was right, and he literally fixed the whole unit by propping the pan up with a stick. He was so honest and didn't try to scam me or make me buy expensive parts I didn't need. I thought--this is the guy I want taking care of my unit for life. A few months later, the unit stopped cooling altogether. He came out and immediately knew the problem was a busted motor on the fan in the outdoor condenser unit. He put a rescue fan on it until a new part could be ordered and installed. He never pushed me to buy a new unit, but when I asked him if I should, he didn't say yes or no--he just laid out the numbers and the facts for me so I could make my own decision. It didn't make financial sense to me to throw hundreds of dollars at parts on a 20 year old unit, so I asked for pricing for a new unit. He blew me away with what he quoted me--it was MUCH less than I was expecting. I asked him to install it and he did--and now I have a brand new unit that actually cools the upstairs of my house and not just the downstairs (like the old unit did.) I couldn't be more thrilled!
