This B&N reminds me a lot of the brand new one in Brownsville, TX. It's ginormous, with a vast selection of books, tons of cash registers, and a Starbucks. The Starbucks layout in particular looks identical to the one down in Brownsville.
My mom came up for a visit and was looking for a couple of books in particular. She was able to find them without issue, and an author was there selling books of her travels, so we bought a signed copy from her, too.
The Starbucks has your standard fare. Mom ordered the tall hazelnut latte, and since it was cool outside, I had the pumpkin spice latte. It was surprisingly not busy in the cafe part, but there were plenty of shoppers perusing the books.
This B&N is very close to where I live, so I can definitely see myself visiting more often, or at least bringing my mom here when she comes up to visit. Value-wise, a little on the pricey side, but if you have a rewards card, I guess it's fine. read more
