This place was awesome! I'm new to anime and model building as some friends have gotten me into it. I'd gotten a Gundam model from Target and loved it. So I went online to find more and saw the American supply is pretty sparse. My friend told me about this shop and holy! Tons of models! Gundam, Star Wars, 30 Minute Missions, Pokémon! Not only that but tons of statues, plushes and snacks! And they have a rewards system and friendly staff! I picked up a Gundam model, a couple plushes for my little brother, and some canned boba tea. I can't wait to go back! 5/5! EDIT: also how could I forget to mention they have a friggin arcade in the back!

nice stuff; but oh those prices. they really believe in themselves. if they have something no one else in town does; capitalism shines bright.

Wow ... the inventory of this place is incredible. I can easily spend 1 hour just looking around before making my final decision. This little gem is very similar to a authentic Japanese shop. I enjoy the fact that they play different anime in their huge TV instead of random music. I never once feel pressure to buy anything when I visit. A must visit for me every time I'm in San Antonio

I was sooo impressed by the selection, best anime store I've ever been in! Better than dealers at cons!

Here's my tip: CALL FIRST!! It's happened to me too many times where I drive over and it's closed for some reason. Which, I understand! It's a small business, things happen, you gotta leave I get it. It's just frustrating because it takes almost 45 minutes to get there and I should have learned my lesson the first time it happened but I didn't. Regardless, for me, the prices and selection make up for it. Incredible selection without the crazy markup SOME PLACES here in San an think they can get away with. It's a long trip for me or I would be here more often (though that's probably better for my wallet) P.s. I want to add that I haven't had a problem with it being closed lately. I think when they were newer they were still trying to sort out their hours. Anyway, still the best anime collectibles store I've been in, with great prices. Found a lot of gems here.

Mixed bag of Trade Figures and Pre-Painted Selection. At the top middle really expensive Ball Joint Attack on Titan/Neon Genesis Figures.

I've been collecting figures for years now. On MFC I'm Sweetivy It's been hard finding a decent selection of Anime related figures & Merch in SA for years now. You could go to the many comic book stores here, and find many Kotobukiya brand figures since its mostly a DC/Marvel deal. But Legit. Anime. It's a hunt. Lets be honest could go online for everything but depending on what you want it It could be out of print and your left with Yahoo Japan and proxy services and all those fees! ECK Example Dragon Ball Gals Bulma Made by MegaHouse Retail Price @ 8,800YEN (3/2016) As of 12/30that converts to $75 Shipping $15 to $25 Range high side would be EMS shipping. So 75 + 25 = 100 At Anime Tokyo it was Listed as $99 not including tax. Pretty good deal since the preorder ended months before release date. Also take into consideration the price is going up due to supply and demand. I'd go Ham on it myself but thats not my life now. My closet is filled with figure boxes I mean BOXES and spent way too much. I mostly collect small things now in particular, I really LOVE prize figures. If Anime Tokyo reads this can you hook a gurl up? haha I really would LOVE some: J Stars World Collectables or WCF ワールドコレクタブルフィギュア But I digress, They have Trade Figures, Pre- Painted, Gachapon Machines, & Plush/merch. Will visit this shop Monthly, I had a good experience & the store smelled great! ;D Its Remanence of Sam Goody or Suncoast. Very Niche, But filled with goodies!

    Tanjiro statue: great price!

Sombrero hats, shoes, Mexican dresses, toys, the list goes on. Be careful about the stairs; they are rather steep. I love how the signs tell you to keep your children with you. There is also another sign telling you that you cannot try on the shoes. I asked the salesgirl about it, and she said that they had lots of people coming in to try on the shoes, but not buying any. And then people who actually bought the shoes would come back saying that the shoes smelled like feet from all the people who had tried on the pair of shoes previously. True story, swear to God. I guess tourists have stinky feet! I was looking for a souvenir for myself. Warned about the shoes, I actually was looking to get either a Mexican blouse or dress as I had seen several gorgeous ones during my stay in San Antonio. The salesgirl was great in helping me pick out one, and even better yet, offered a discount if I paid in cash. Done. Best yet, after visiting Market Square, I noted that this store's clothes prices were indeed less expensive than the stores on Market Square. Same merchandise, different prices. I don't know how the other merchandise stacked up, but it does pay to shop around.

Between authentication and grading I spent an additional $300. 3) DC Comics said that they had no idea of what we were talking about when we mentioned the free gift and said that nothing had been coordinated with them. I emailed the guy that runs the event, a guy named Apple, and I explained what had happened. No response. I emailed again. Again no response. As I talked to multiple people in comic book stores in San Antonio and the surrounding areas it was very clear that I was not alone in feeling ripped off. The biggest complaint besides a disorganized event was the Jim Lee pass. It really tainted the whole experience.
