Amazing store! My friends and I had a great experience shopping for new books to add to our collections, and the service was fantastic!

They have a very good selection of used books and the lady working there was very friendly and helpful, and a delight to visit with. We looked at a lot of books and bought a few, we wanted to trade a bag of books and found out they don't take books in trade, and one guy can buy books but he wasn't there that day...if you want to sell some books...call ahead to see if he's available. This is a great area for used books, we found 3 in the immediate area, and if you are a bookworm....you know they're getting harder and harder to find.

Impressive store. An incredible amount, and very well organized, packed into a small space, but still with comfortable corners to sit and read in. (Is it possible to have more corners than walls in a place?) lots of nice leather bound editions and first editions but all priced at value. They know what they have and you're unlikely to find a particular deal here. That said if you're looking for a good book, you're likely to find what you're looking for here.

I collect vintage cookbooks, (yes, I use them too. ), I was happy to see the selection they had. I'll be back to look. Definitely adding this area to my focus. Right around the corner from the cookbooks are the vintage books. Well, they had this wonderful little Dick Tracy book. I knew it was coming home with me. Then, when I went to psy they were going to give me the Dick Tracy one. I told them no, I wanted to pay for it, it gives them the money. Isn't that the point!?

The book I purchased sparked a beautiful conversation with the ladies at the checkout counter. I love listening to how others interpret / respond to an author's perspective. It's one of the richest's parts of discussing books. I took my time browsing this cute indie bookstore. I always take my time in bookstores as I walk each isle waiting to find the book that calls to me. I have so many books on my, to-be-read list and when I spot one of them on a shelf, it's like seeing an old friend. The book I chose to bring home with me was, The Selected Works of Audre Lorde. What a gem for only $16.95. I'm going to really enjoy this one. Her work is raw, powerful, and unapologetic. I also bought a bookmark which is something I always do when buying a new book. They just go hand in hand. You'll find many options at the checkout counter. Make sure to take a look at the beautiful journals if you're also into exploring your thoughts through writing.

The staff members were pleasant and helpful. I picked up a couple of books for my niece's upcoming 5th birthday. I really hope she gravitates towards these books I got her. My girls of summer also picked out some birthday gifts for each other. Because I spent just over $100, they gave me a free tote. According to their website, they got their name inspo from this Alexander Pope quote, "'Tis education forms the common mind; just as the twig is bent the tree's inclined."

Nowhere focuses on local, cultural, LGBTQIA, and overall a very diverse selection of books. They also host big events like speakers. Nowhere is about the size of your average Half Price Books and as someone else said, it's like stepping into a grown-up Scholastic Book Fair. Socks, bookmarks, cards, they sell so many things. Towards the back they also have a coffee shop! I need to go back and order a cortado for my review series. You can tell this shop is well-loved. It was extremely crowded. Staff remained in excellent spirits providing top notch customer service. I fell in love with this shop immediately. I was already a fan based on word of mouth. But experience the shop for yourself - you must do it. I can't wait until my next visit.

It is located in a strip mall off Fredericksburg, and it won't be found unless ones looking for it, which I was. It is not a very big place, but it does have a lot of knickknacks, including an impressive collection of stickers, bookmarks, and vinyl records, to name a few. It actually is a pretty neat place. The books are used and for the most part they're very reasonably priced. They do not have an inventory of the books, so you do have to look through shelves, if looking for a particular title. And their staff is only one person at the cashier. Which is to say that you can browse to your heart's content, and discover some major reads. They also had quite a few boxes of books that were under one dollar or $.50. This is one of those places that I intend to return to, because of pricing and to support small businesses. We came in after noticing the spot while having coffee around the corner. Outside the shop, before walking in, there are several bargain books displayed that help with a visual cue of where you should be heading to. Organization of all records was pretty decent. Everything is spaced out and no overcrowding of records to be found here. You can browse easily without having any issues. I ended up finding a great early Rihanna LP and my partner found a pretty awesome and good quality of an REM LP here too. We were very happy with our finds and the condition the vinyl was when we brought it home to play. Of course you can find bargain records here but their curated records that are priced $5 and up will be pretty good quality in terms of cover and record quality. I think I remember seeing nice juices, beers, and even some energy drinks here that are offered in a cold case? I also saw plenty of magazines and niche zines here that I regret not taking a chance on. You will find something unique and very interesting here even outside of records. I really loved the book area/nook as there are plenty of genres to choose from. I will definitely come back through to browse their selection in the future. I am unsure if they still have bands play outside or in but I would be down to catch some tunes too.

Selling the book was super easy! They have a buy section at the end of the store where they can buy either in bulk or singles. The price you get for the book is determined by their popularity. For mine I got $6 which I thought was a good deal. I love books, so of course I had to go and explore around the store. The first thing that caught my eye was their Half Pint Book (kids) section which had so many amazing options of new and used items. They even had a bunch of kids toys and arts and crafts kits that were brand new. Frankly I can't wait to bring my little one and show him all the amazing books in that section. Another great find was their "New Bestseller" section which is right at the front of the store. They had a brand new book which I had just paid $32 and Barnes & Noble (which is across the street by the way), and they had it for $17.49! Like whaaaaaat?! Obviously since I have no self control I went ahead and used the money from my sell into buying another book, which makes it almost free, right? #GirlMath Anyhow!
