Book stores are becoming harder to find. We've seen a lot close down. This one has found a way to keep it going and we are glad they have. Books are a plenty, we really love the discounted section. Today we went in for puzzles which they have a lot of. They are priced at full retail, but they have a lot and some are really good finds. read more

Literally here multiple times a week! The service is amazing in the store and in the Starbucks as well. When I asked an employee about a book and they didn't have it the man offered to order it for me which I appreciated. The employees are awesome I always have lovely chats with them about books. Stopped here for a little R and R. Went straight to get a latte. You can't use your Starbucks card here which is the only reason I give it 4 stars. They are an authorized reseller, not a Starbucks. When and checked out the books, still love the feel and smell of a real book! Love how easy it is to navigate and the separation of best sellers. Grabbed a couple of magazines, sat down, read, and drank my coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful, they had comfy chairs in the front to sit and read. read more

Nice selection of books in a quiet, clean atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. They didn't have the book I wanted but were able to order it if I had wanted. The Starbucks staff were friendly also. The cold drinks hit the spot for triple digit temperatures here. The four stars are for not having the book I wanted or a massive variety like they use to. Haven't been to a Barnes and Noble for awhile. All the seating has been removed due to COVID-19 so no place to sit and read (don't ask me why seating spreads coronavirus more than books). Went to the Starbucks inside and ordered a coffee flavored frap which had no coffee flavoring when it came. Almost all seating has been removed from the Starbucks. I was about to purchase a book for $28. The frustrating experiences made me second guess it. Looked it up on Amazon instead and got it for $20.91 (around $22.00 with tax and free shipping). No real reason to go to Barnes and Noble anymore. You can't get a book and a drink and sit and read it. I will just buy online from now on. read more

Had to buy, "A Wrinkle in Time" to refresh my memory of a classic that was required reading when I was in school. Plus it's nice to hold and read the actual book. My daughter and I are looking forward to seeing the move March 2018. read more

Very convenient, friendly staff, and they're willing to go look all over for a book for you. To the people complaining about the 'Starbucks'. It's not a Starbucks, it's the Barnes and Noble cafe, that serves Starbucks coffee. That's why you don't get the Starbucks menu and you can't use your Starbucks gift card. If you want that.. it's down the street by Walmart and has a drive thru. read more

Truthfully I stopped in here the other day because I had to pee after getting off the interstate and in my experience bookstores always seem to have clean facilities. This B&N lived up to that expectation, and pro-tip: their bathroom is located in the back next to the children's section, not next to the cafe where I'd assumed it would be. Anyway, I had some time to kill before I had to run an errand in the area so I browsed for a bit. I read most of my books on Kindle nowadays so I hadn't been in a physical bookstore in years! This B&N seemed well stocked but a bit under-staffed. I tried to catch someone's eye to ask where I could find the non-fiction section but no one seemed interested in or able to help me so I found it myself with very little effort. The sections are organized pretty well and it wasn't difficult to find what I was looking for--a NIV study bible (in pink, no less!) I waited in line to pay for what felt like 5 minutes but maybe it wasn't that long. They ended up calling someone to the front for backup and the line moved more quickly after that. My little pit stop here was unexpectedly productive and I left with something I'd been meaning to buy but did't want to read on an e-reader/couldn't commit to on an online store. I guess I should visit Barnes & Noble more often :) read more

My son is on a minecraft kick and wanted a minecraft sword. *shrugs*. I'm still trying to figure out how to even play the game and he's 5. A quick look at some other stores online, a minecraft sword was no where to be found. Luckily, Barnes & Noble saved a melt down and me having to hear him whine about not have a minecraft sword to fight the zombies with. Anywho, I've bought books and movies from B&N before. I get my college books sometimes from here when they are cheaper than Amazon. Also a rewards member as well, so I get a discount every now and then. read more

This is a wonderful Barnes and Noble. What is sad is that this is the last location in Fort Worth, Texas. They do have a location in the Parks Mall in Arlington and a location near the North East Mall in Hurst, but this is the only one in the Fort Worth city limits and the closest one to where I live in Weatherford, Texas. I always end up spending too much money here. Lol But I am always happy with the selection of books, DVDs, and cds. I do wish that this location would expand their selection of classic Doctor Who. The location near the Northeast Mall in Hurst had a little bit better of a selection but other than that I can usually find what I am looking for. They always have the newest selections of Broadway musicals which is nice. This location is why I became a Barnes and Noble member this year. read more

Only giving 4 stars because of management. Thank you Katie for being willing to listen to my complaint! However, be careful with some of the Starbucks baristas. My boyfriend ordered a drink for me and specifically asked to sub regular milk for soy. We left and fifteen minutes later, I started projectile vomiting, so he went back (while I stayed in the car trying to feel better) and asked if they had maybe put something other than soy milk and the baristas immediately got defensive and invalidated what had happened. Tried to give a lesson on other ingredients that contain lactose. First of all, I know my body best and they're not qualified to say what else could've caused my reaction. I know that I'm specifically intolerant to milk, which contains a whole lot more grams of lactose (about 9-11 give or take) compared to whipped cream which is 1. ONE. I've ordered the same drink many many times before. I know people make mistakes, but as someone who also works in customer service, I was really disappointed by what happened. You shouldn't take allergies/intolerance lightly. read more
