Drink a Tea while you Read.

Our family has been coming to this Barnes and Noble location for at least a decade. It has changed many times and now feels like a Toys R Us. We still wander in every once in a while to just check out what's inside and the kids go check out all the different toys while I enjoy a tea or coffee. With that being said we never have anyone around to help when we need to find a book or ask a question. I do not think that's a store issue since customer service everywhere has gone down, but it would be nice for an employee every once in a while to smile and say "Do you need help." We will still continue to stop by every time we are at the Otay Ranch Mall.

I was helped by Jacob when I was looking for a specific book, but unfortunately they didn't have it. He brought me to the section it would've been in so I could look around and we ended up having a nice conversation! He also helped me a newer section they put together to find books about California. This store is always cleaned up pretty well and the sections are huge. I love how much manga and pop culture items they have in the store. The children's book section is also really nice and big. They have good prices on books they have on sale and good deals throughout the year. Regular priced books are what you'd expect them to be: pretty pricey! Restrooms have a code available upon request of a customer service rep.

Storytime at Christmas time at the local Barnes and Noble! Oh how merry and bright! Smells like cookies!

Awesome. Barnes and Noble is purely awesome. This location, this staff...I can't praise them enough. They know their stuff and go out of their way to serve their customers. Calm comforting environment. Local autism groups come here to aid their clients and all are welcome. I love this place as an artist, a reader, a writer, and a customer. Top notch! LONG LIVE BARNES AND NOBLE!

Great Barnes & Noble location in the Otay Ranch Town Center! Lively, yet organized and well stocked. From board games through books, magazines to DVDs (you read that right haha), they are likely to have rhe media you're looking for. Plentiful parking. Well staffed too.

I have always loved Barnes and Noble, but it's dangerous because they have such cute trinkets and gifts. We came in here looking for a Fathers Day gift and ended up finding a gift and then some. I left with a book and tarot cards. They do still try to hustle and get people to join their membership.

Danielle is amazing employee I love her attitude, enthusiasm, and customer service satisfaction. This employee was nice to sign me up for rewards and softest me eco friendly bag for my items. I enjoy my morning shopping at the book store with my kid. The store is very organized snd huge with so many selections for a variety of interest and education. I ended up purchasing many books, collectible coin books, and kids stem activities for summer school break under $60 for total purchase. Highly recommend this location a visit to support reading and education. For those that are Starbucks fans there is one located within the store that you can enjoy peacefully and Wi-Fi access.

We came here to hangout on a weekend while I was waiting for my appointment at Apple Store. But we do love B&N because you can use their bathrooms anytime, they have their own Starbucks Coffee, Free Wi-Fi and a nice children section area with benches. I love browsing through the selections in the magazines area, cooking and healthy recipes. They do have good sales and if you are a B&N member, you get a discount on top of the sale price. Good clearance. Overall, Kiddos and I had fun here browsing and reading books and enjoyed Starbucks drinks and cheesecake (from Cheesecake factory).Yum! Great place to read books and Chill. Good selection of books, toys, games, DVD movies and line waits are moderate. Customer service are friendly and helpful. This location is in Eastlake at Otay Ranch Town Center near the Cheesecake Factory (yum) and Karina's Mexican resto (Yum), also next to Sephora and Apple Store. LOL!

I was very impressed with this business establishment. From the very moment I walked in, my family was greeted with a smile and a genuine hello. The employees here were so kind and friendly. You can tell that there are good people who work here. They take pride in their jobs and serving customers. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. That really says a lot about this business and their employees. I will be back to patronize this business and would recommend it to anyone in the area. A+ service all the way. Five . Highly recommended in my opinion!

Tender Hooligan has been in business since 2024 and it's known for its unique blend of high-fidelity vinyl listening, specialty coffee, craft beer, and cocktails. The audiophile cafe and bar is located next door to La Pesca Cevicheria on Third Ave. We had a 45 minute wait time for dinner at La Pesca and ordered a few drinks while we waited for table. Tender Hooligan functions as a community hub with a record store, themed spaces, and events like live music and game nights, offering a cozy, eclectic atmosphere for working, socializing, or enjoying music. The menu features unique drinks like the Ube Espresso and Jeepney Latte, alongside food and a selection of soju cocktails. I ordered a beer michelada. It's such a fun hangout check it out!!

Cozy pit stop with sandwiches for $7?! Yes please…read more Food: 5/5 We came in here to check out the vinyls, and when we saw the sandwich for $5.99, we HAD to get one. We got everything in it, and added avocado for $1. The peperoncini was free to add on the side. The sandwich was yum, but for $7, it is the best I've ever eaten. Service: 4.5/5 The person who took our order was so kind, offering us water when we didn't order any drinks and making sure we needed nothing else while we ate. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 It's so so cozy in here! I think it turns into a bar after dark, and the place is the right ambiance for both AM and PM. It was decently packed, and there are games to borrow! I would recommend this place for a casual lunch, a coffee run, or a third-space hang out. Amazing, no notes. Final rating: 4.67/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)

First time purchasing a few Records from Vinyl Junkies…read more. Had them shipped to Iowa, Great price & they shipped them in a mighty mailer for extra protection and they arrived in great condition within a reasonable timeframe.. However incurred a minor issue at no fault to the store, inner sleeves were missing, this was a known issue from the record producer on this particular release, worked with Jules at Vinyl Junkies and she worked diligently with their supplier to make things right, took a bit but she got it done and shipped them right away free of charge and in perfect condition.. If you're looking for great service on your next vinyl purchase look no further, these guys and gals are great and they stand by what they sell.. This is a small and funky vinyl shop with a fair amount of used CDs. In fact, they have more used…read moreCDs here than just about anywhere else I have ever seen, other than at Amoeba in Los Angeles. They also have old cassette tapes, too, if you are a weirdo and a masochist. There are three rooms to explore and a little courtyard in between them all. I have to believe this space was a coffee house or something like that in a different life. The vinyl record collection is the emphasis, as it should be, and it is well-organized. There is some organization to some of the CDs but many of them are just stacked here and there. That is ok. If you are a musical dinosaur like some of us, some of the fun is in the hunt itself. The only drag is parking. Street parking is your only option and it is rough. The good news is there are some cool other shops in this area to explore, like books, beer, food, etc. Well worth a visit for music fans.
