When I picked her up, she smelt and looked worse than when I dropped her off. She had rust on her face from trying to get out of the cage in the back, was still half wet and nails were not clipped....... If they felt as if she was too much to handle they should have let me know. I would've gladly took her somewhere else. instead I paid for the grooming, tipped, and paid extra for them to get her done "quicker" ...... I would NOT RECOMMEND goinghere if you have a dog that requires actual work. One of my biggest regrets is leaving my dog in that shop that day.

My daughter dropped her off before 10:00 am we hadn't received a call or and update so my daughter called 3:38 at that time she was told that they havent gotten to my puppy yet, they had a lot of dogs. Now pay attention to the time my daughter received a return call saying that she's ready at 3:51 ... Not even 30 mins later. The appointment was for a full groom service from head to toe. I know it should have at least taken and hour. The whole haircut is choppy, and so far. I've counted at least 5 bald spots. I'm not one to bash anyone's business. Because that's a person's livelihood, but she's very unprofessional. She was not understanding and she was defensive and had an excuse about everything and why her grooming looks the way that it does. After about 20 mins of going back and forth with no apologies just excuses I finally said I will never bring her back and have a blessed day. I will wish I had a way to post pictures to show what the out come was. Then was very unsympathetic and rude. Sorry I see I can post proof

They smelled fresh but not perfumed I appreciate this because one has asthma. 2) my nervous dog was very calm and both were very happy and relaxed. I feel like they felt at ease and cared for. That's a win win! Be sure to bring cash or check because they don't accept credit cards. Parking right in front is easy and there is a strip of grassy area between parking and road where they can relieve themselves before and after their spa day.

The owner has finally responded and offered to pay the vet bills and refund my $ for that days services. She called it an accident. It's clearly negligence. Never had any problem any where he has ever been. He allows me to bathe, dry and brush him without any issues. Here is how his little feet looked upon pick up. I was told it was because he was fighting the groomer. Why would she not just have stopped? She said he was unhappy because he had matted fur that took her a long time to get through and it made him upset so he wasn't cooperative. He goes to the groomer every 2 weeks and WAS on their schedule every 2 weeks through the end of the year. He is bathed/dried/brushed/combed at home between grooming visits so I know for a fact that the story she is trying to tell about him being matted up is a lie. He was just there 2 weeks prior but there were no issues at that visit. I feel like she got in a rush and messed up as is trying to cover it up. His cut is uneven all over the place and the bath was mediocre. I don't know if this person is new and inexperienced but I don't care. My baby will NEVER go back there again. My dog has his own FB and Insta pages if I need to prove that he is not unkept and that he doesn't have matted hair as I'm sure that will be the excuse given in any reply. As of now they haven't apologized or even followed up after I complained and canceled all of his future appointments. Just blamed the dog and that was that. 2 weeks later: tried to take my baby to a groomer that he has been to before and he is now scared to go. The Dog Shop has literally traumatized him. They said the grooming that was done looked like a beginner did it. Uneven everywhere. Feet cut was too high on top of the damage. My poor baby that used to go without too much push back is scared to death. Doodle owners/pet owners. If you take your dog here do so at the dogs risk. It was clarified that his feet were burned from hot clippers.

I was worried he had a corneal abrasion. I took him to the vet the next day. He had bilateral eye infections, bilateral ear infections, an infection under his chin and the vet treated his gash above the eye. Not to mention he lost NINE pounds!! He also slept for 12 hours straight. He seemed traumatized. $171 vet bill. He has been to different camps for even longer periods of time, and I have never experienced this mistreatment of my dog. I tried calling the owner Holly, but she was out of town I was told. We did communicate via email, and she agreed to pay $65 for part of the vet bill. She said the infections were not from her facility. It is conjunctivitis! Its highly contagious! Of course, it was from them. Holly should have communicated what was going on with my dog. The infection in the eyes was obvious. They wiped his eyes when I got there. Holly, you need to communicate with the owners better. See the pictures attached. They were taken as soon as we got home.
