During the service they also take pics and send them to you. I can't resist groomers sending me cute pics of my pup, of course. With her walk and full spa service, they were done in about 1.5 hrs. The 30 min walk was a great idea to introduce my dog to the groomers so I'm glad they offer it! She smells sweet, her nails are cut and everything from teeth to tail has been washed, brushed, and expressed. Booking was super easy, payment was very reasonable. Didn't even get to appointment. They texted that the grooming had called off. 1. This partly my fault, I missed the reviews that complained about appointments being canceled right before they were supposed to show up. 2. I know that there are lots of rational reasons (sick, family, etc). I totally understand that life happens, but from my side- I had explained to the dispatcher that my elderly relative, who i had the appointment for, had health issues (that I explained in GREAT detail when i called to make the appt two weeks ago) and I needed the groomer at a specific time to maintain continuity for her. Convenience of a mobile groomer was a huge factor as to why I chose it. 3. Knowing this, you didn't call? You didn't have another groomer available? You TEXTED 4 hours before the appointment? So I get to scramble an explanation to my relative-who doesn't think this is funny and is verbally punishing me. Thanks for that. 4. I can't afford to take another chance with this company. It was obvious the stylist wasn't confident in handling the matting issue we had, she kept recommending we shave the hair fully down - then she overcompensated with the matting by cutting where they shouldn't have. This wasn't a simple miscommunication--it was a complete disregard for my request. "Do not touch her face" To make matters worse, rather than acknowledging the mistake, they have the managers "review" your complaint and then make a decision based on before and after photographs. Wow. Just wow. How does this company have any stars? My regular groomer wasn't available and my dogs (two wire haired and one smooth coat Brussles griffons, all about 11 pounds) desperately needed grooming. I was given a quote of $500 (a lot more than my regular groomer charges) for the three dogs. That was to include full service grooming. I scheduled my morning to accommodate the grooming. First the groomer tells me that my one dog was matted and that she would need to charge an additional $100. So $600 for three small dogs. I told her that I would brush the knots out myself, which I did in about two minutes. Call me crazy but shouldn't grooming include brushing? Then it came time to groom my other Bg. He's 15 and had a prolapsed eye in 2017. Clearly it has fully healed since his surgery SEVEN YEARS AGO! The groomer came back and said that she couldn't groom him because it was an infection? Ummmmm...so they know something that his regular vet and (all the other groomers in the world) don't? Then she said that he had matting on his face. Nope again. He had some crust because this breed tends to tear. How would a professional groomer not know this. Again, I was able to wash it off and brush it out in less than five minutes. So in the end I ended up grooming two of the three dogs by myself. So unless you want them to come groom your perfectly groomed fur babies, don't bother. Now I need to call my credit company to make sure that they don't charge the card they require to be on file before service. HORRIBLE SERVICE WITH AN ADDED DEGREE OF FRAUD AND SCAM! read more

I am really disappointed with this service. I hired BarkBus to come and bathe my dog and trim his nails. I was informed that the groomer would have a muzzle and be able to trim my dog's nails. However, the groomer arrived without the muzzle and was unable to trim his nails, stating that I would need to take him elsewhere for the trimming because she couldn't manage the front nails. So, if your dog doesn't like having their nails trimmed and you hire BarkBus, don't expect them to get the job done. I have called to complain and give them a chance to fix this by sending someone else, but I can't get through to anyone and only receive a robot to speak with. read more
