A former TV editor, Eric is a smart & organized guy who decided he'd rather be outside with dogs than hunched over a computer. He is very responsible and generally takes dogs out 1-on-1 rather than some services that stick 10 dogs in a truck. He does neighborhood 30 minute walks for $20. The downside is he really is focused on Venice, Mar Vista, Southern Santa Monica. If you are in the area he covers, he is a great choice to walk your dog. If not, he can probably give you a referral to another walker. He will also offer coaching to new dog owners with puppies on the basics of getting the right collar, training, etc. though he does not do "dog training" per se.

Our two dogs have been going to daycare regularly for two years. Daycare with pickup and drop off! It is such a game changer having them able to be picked up or dropped off when we're at work. And one of our dogs hates regular car rides, but does fine in the van since it's basically a super cool and safe dog-mobile. Everything started out great with Yo! Dog, and it just continues to get better - the space expanded, the vans upgraded. They're super cognizant about the weather...if it's hot there's tons of shade and misters and extra time inside the AC. We have two dogs - one is a pretty high needs senior dog, and he's treated with extra care and still gets to run around with the young dogs. Everything feels safe and well run and by the book (thorough vetting process of dogs, up to date vaccinations, etc), and yet at the same time it's all so chill and fun. It starts with Bob and extends to everyone who works there. A really great group of people who absolutely adore all the dogs. The communication is on point, and scheduling and paying is super convenient. Our dogs come home just the right amount of tired. And they get excited when they're picked up.
