Came in on a random rainy day... I really wish it wasn't so small. People weren't lying about the smells being gnarly. The smell really punches you in the face when you walk in. However we all know why that is. After being there awhile you kinda just ignore it but it is very much still noticeable. The small dogs are allowed on both sides which is nice but my dog can be a jerk sometimes and pick fights with bigger dogs. So we had no choice but to stay on the small dog side. With that being said the small dog side is super small, but I guess it works for those dogs that have a hard time breathing in high temperatures, I feel like they can do better with supplying more toys on small side. I didn't know how much I would love the option to drink and let my dog roam free. Beer options are great we had a delicious Hazy. little to no seating. They should really run with this idea and open a much bigger place it's perfect for those days it's way too hot, cold or even rainy. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit but if I lived near I probably would. read more

We likes Bark at first. The smell was not great but they've since managed that. We decided to cancel our membership after management continued to allow aggressive dogs to visit. Even after we spoke to management about concerns, nothing changed. We recently learned of a dog fight that took place there, which resulted in one dog needing emergency medical services. Unfortunate. read more

They have referees who are on site who will actively make sure the dogs are well behaved. My dog has been going here for over 6 months and we always have fun here meeting other dogs and heir owners. The smell isn't too bad, they spend all day Monday and Tuesday cleaning the place inside out. Members get a discount at the dog wash station. They provide soap and everything you need. With the summer heat, a place like this is a must! read more

BARK Dog Park - Dog Parks Near Me - Modesto, California

Good location. A nice idea. Mediocre execution. Little dog side is kinda not all that. 2 toys and a little play structure. Little to no seating to watch your little dog. The other patrons were really cool. Drinks were meh. Beer was okay, but mixed waters blew. The smell of dog urine permeates the place; I understand why, but it's just so much. The first breath after leaving the establishment like a fine wine in comparison. Perhaps multiple air purifiers? read more

We were first time German Shepherd parents and was so impressed by the staff and the facility. We signed up from first time visit. We also had Rex's training with Sit means Sit. We had to provide his dog license and proof of complete vaccinations. The staff are amazing and always inside the dog area to watch the dogs interaction. The area to bathe your dog area came with all supplies to complete a great bath. I never saw a neglected play area (poop pick up). At least one of the dogs owner had to be in the area with the dog. If my Rex's was being aggressive we would usually leave in good faith and to respect the other dogs. It's like sometimes kids in a play get to ruff you try to meditate for a positive outcome. The beer was a bonus. Sometimes it could get a bit smelly, staff tried to keep the smell at a minimum. My experience with Bark Park was amazing and I hope to continue to go for my boy Rex's. read more

Safe indoor play for small & big dogs! There's toys inside each section, with clean water bowls for drinking, provided poop bags and tools for cleanup, sink for hand washing and plenty of seating for human spectators. Beer & Italian sodas in the front of the store, as well as pet supplies. There's two self service pet wash stations should you need need to bathe your pups before you leave. We love it here & totally utilizing this playground weekly. read more

i thought this place was really cute. dogs get in free for their first visit, so we went to try this new place out. despite what some reviews say, i thought the staff was very attentive of the dogs and was making sure no fights would break out. there is someone in the play area mediating just in case the dogs get to rough playing. my dog had a blast and was able to get him to socialize and burn some energy on a really hot day! i would 1000% recommend. and the drinks at the bar are also really good to try! read more

Great staff, clean park area with lots of great toys and structures for the dogs to play on/wish, and I love the dog wash stations, snack bar, and gift shop areas. read more

THIS IS THE most amazing happiest dog park you can go to they have a taproom on the side with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. You can drink in the park with your dogs. Nonmembers are welcome so you can bring your friends. They have bathing stations in the bag that you can use for $15 you don't have to be a member to go sit at the benches, it is a dog park so even if it's a smell, it's a very joyful place but you would be surprised because it doesn't really smell. They have game nights and beers on Fridays. It's a wonderful place to go for you and your pets. I love it, and so does mine. read more

Great fun!! Pebbles gets so excited when we pull up in the car!! The beer garden is awesome as it great to have a beer and unwind while watching the dogs play. read more

The place becomes smellier each time you enter. Dogs there are not fully vaccinated, nor were they vetted before being allowed in the park. Dog owners are permitted to stay in the drinking area while leaving their dogs unattended or unsupervised, so they are not necessarily there to intervene if their dogs become aggressive toward other dogs. Even though they will tell you that dog owners need to be with their dogs at all times, the store owner doesn't reinforce it, even when other customers bring it up. Some employees keep an eye on the dogs' interactions, but others turn a blind eye, neglecting to clean up the pee and feces left by dogs inside the park. Despite being a good idea, an indoor dog park requires more interventions to be a safe and clean place for its customers. read more

great place! my dog loved it so we did not hesitate to join! there is staff watching the dogs to make sure it doesn't get crazy. drinks and snacks are good, too! also, you can give your dog a bath for a small fee! Definitely recommended! read more

Good place if you're looking for a dog park and it's poor weather outside. The beer garden is also a nice touch, but overpriced. The park can reek of pee during certain times especially since it's a closed off area. If the dog owner provides a lot of business by regularly purchasing drinks, they are not held to the same standards as other owners, and will not get in trouble for letting their aggressive dog run wild or not cleaning up after their dog read more

My dog went there for the first time and he ended up catching kennel cough even tho he is fully up to date on his vaccinations.

Best place ever. So fun for us and our dog. 100000% recommend this place. They are so kind and the dogs have such a great time. Clean environment and friendly staff. Also the drinks are 10/10!!! Tell all your friends about this place because it rocks!!‍ read more
