I usually take my medium size dog to play on the big side with the huskies or bulldogs cuz they are more at his energy level. Always ask the dog owner if their dog is friendly because I've seen small little aggressive dogs who just like to mind their business which is why we end up on the big dog side! However we all know why that is. After being there awhile you kinda just ignore it but it is very much still noticeable. The small dogs are allowed on both sides which is nice but my dog can be a jerk sometimes and pick fights with bigger dogs. So we had no choice but to stay on the small dog side. With that being said the small dog side is super small, but I guess it works for those dogs that have a hard time breathing in high temperatures, I feel like they can do better with supplying more toys on small side. I didn't know how much I would love the option to drink and let my dog roam free. Beer options are great we had a delicious Hazy. little to no seating. They should really run with this idea and open a much bigger place it's perfect for those days it's way too hot, cold or even rainy. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit but if I lived near I probably would.

There are dividers for the dog park - so if you have a small dog or bigger dog - you can pick which side you think would be best. The park also features a rock climbing area for kids and a community garden.  You must have a dog to access the dog run area, but there were some comfortable benches outside of the fenced in areas, that offered beautiful views of the landscape if you wanted to just enjoy the nearby scenery. There are also shaded picnic benches nearby - if you plan on enjoying a mellow afternoon here. I talked with some of the dog owners during my brief time at this dog park - and everyone seemed very friendly. If you have a dog and are looking to meet fellow dog owners - I highly suggest you checking out this peaceful dog park. He has 3 mutts. They think they own the park. Literally walk the park in a circle to confront people. If you have a purebred, that's unneutered watch out they get jealous. They're constantly there. It's really sad they need a life outside of the dog park.

We love this awesome dog park. It's great to have a controlled and safe place to bring the dogs to…read morerun and play. There's both a small dog and large dog enclosed areas that have some shade, water fountains, benches, poop bags, and some built in activities and water feature. We also like that they have walking tracks around them within the gates! It's a great place to meet new friends and let your fur baby play. I just wish it wasn't so far! We need more of these!

Very easy to find location and plenty of free parking. There are some really nice humans there and the cutest pups who love to interact and play around. So, let's start with the good. The lady we spoke to for reservations was very professional and…read morehelpful. In addition, the night attendant Perry was also very helpful and took us to our spot and pointed out where things were. That is all the good I can give the campground. Let's start with the "no's" . No wi-fi, no cable, no restrooms. If I am paying for a site, all three of those are mandatory. The campground itself is set next to the Merced River so there is good scenery, but the campground itself is old and worn out. I would say that' 80% plus are all permanent residents, some of their equipment in very poor condition. The roads are all gravel and my site was very un-level. I think there is good potential here, but there needs to be a lot of investment made to get this park back to a destination people will want to visit.

There's pretty trees, some groves of trees even, and also a river + a gazebo by the river. It's a good place to walk, run, bike around, and maybe utilize the picnic tables for. One of the employees notified me they close the dog park at 5:30…read more I left exactly at 5:30 and no one came to lock the dog park and do a check around the trail area like they usually do. Instead I get to the exit gate and find out they locked me inside. Called the police non emergency line to see how I can get out.. I had 3 of my dogs with me and it was already dark outside at this time. Police were helpful and got a hold of the employee working at the park. She came to the gate to open it but demanded $50 in cash before letting me out. I didn't have any cash so I offered it via Venmo or Debit and she refused and demanded cash. She let me out as a one time courtesy after pleading with her that I didn't have $50 on me. Are we really endangering people who visit a park to let their dogs play so you can extort them for money after locking them inside?

There used to be two slides next to the monkey bars and now it's just wood and a kid could break that wood at any time and fall down! The water is gross and so are the bathrooms. Please update, clean, and make it more accessible for children! And please don't let bikes be here. My bike got stolen. And please get rid of the rocks! My son fell down into the rocks and broke his leg and dislocated his elbow and fractured his wrist! He also got a concussion and had to go to the ER! Get rid of the rocks!
