Both the ladies I deal with are straight to the point and I appreciate that. The shop is clean and doesn't have that wet dog funk you usually find at mom and pop shops. The outside has ample parking shares with a few other businesses. I also noticed that they board (babysit) lots of small dogs and the owner has them trained to be good babies. (Although, I'm pretty sure they are good babies regardless.) The $8 price (each) was great for the trimming after just paying $20 rip-off at the Sanford Animal clinic. I have two large breed dogs that have had ongoing issues getting any sort of grooming upkeep (ears cleaned, nails trimmed, etc). So when having to board your dog for the first time ever makes it really tough and difficult to not only leave your dog but find an establishment that you can trust with your beloved canine. But here at fancy pets I can say without a doubt we know our dog was taken care of and loved. We left him for 3 days and 2 nights during New Year's Eve weekend. Luckily my sister in law left her dog here as well so he had a familiar face! What's great about fancy pets is they provide beds, bowls, and even a suite for your dog to sleep in. Yet the best thing of all is if you follow their Facebook page you will get to see daily pics of your dog outside playing at least 2-3 times a day!! If and when we have to board our dog again it will be an easy choice to leave him here !!
