Both the ladies I deal with are straight to the point and I appreciate that. The shop is clean and doesn't have that wet dog funk you usually find at mom and pop shops. The outside has ample parking shares with a few other businesses. I also noticed that they board (babysit) lots of small dogs and the owner has them trained to be good babies. (Although, I'm pretty sure they are good babies regardless.) The $8 price (each) was great for the trimming after just paying $20 rip-off at the Sanford Animal clinic. I especially love that they are open on Saturdays really early! Go and support this awesome local small business!

I have two large breed dogs that have had ongoing issues getting any sort of grooming upkeep (ears cleaned, nails trimmed, etc). Katie was superb in not only making my pups completely comfortable in a new atmosphere, but accomplished more than any other groomer I've worked with (without having to use ANY sedatives or muzzles on my pups)!!! The combined factors of Katie's natural skill, professionalism, and dedication... Warning Fancy Pets Groomer Injured Cat…read more I took my cat (Bagheera M1y) to the grooming salon Fancy Pets Grooming Boarding & Day Care located at Regal Center 870 S Sun Drive Suite 1042 Lake Mary FL 32746 on Friday evening at 4.30 PM for a bath. When I picked him up, I asked them if everything went well and they did not report anything to me. I paid the bill and a decent tip and got him home that's when I noticed his energy was down & he was hobbling . Upon closer inspection I noticed almost all nails on his hindlegs were bleeding (pics below). He was also shedding whiskers. I stopped the flow and rushed him to the urgent vet immediately who examined him. She confirmed that the nails were cut badly and one of them was splintered. She also mentioned that he shed whiskers because of the stress/trauma he went through at the salon. He was administered 2 shots for antibiotics and anti inflammatory and given 3 day dosage at home. He is currently in a collar for a week until all injuries are healed and currently not eating very well. It is heartbreaking to watch him hurt and in pain. I called the business on Saturday morning to explain the situation. Instead of offering a courtesy of empathy, one of the owners Manny Santiago denied that any such thing could have taken place. He refused to believe the mountain of evidence I emailed him along with the vet bills, medicines and nail pictures etc. The owner has not bothered to call me inspite of my repeated requests. They refused to re-imburse the vet expenses or their own grooming fees and have ghosted me. Do NOT use this business as they are extremely unprofessional and also do not care about the animals more than their bottom line. I hope no other fur baby or pet parent goes through this.

Wow. What a disappointment…read more I'm very unhappy with the service from today. The groomer spent 35-40 minutes with my dog MAX. Apple was received at 10:02 and was done by 10:38... There is NO way she got a bath, blow dry, and a careful cut. There was also no style done to her face and head, so her head is tiny and just completely shaved - not a "boo cut" as requested. My dog was trembling when I picked her up!! And I could not communicate with the groomer since she only spoke Spanish. I was charged $85 for the "luxury spa package" and she certainly did not receive full care - and definitely no bath or fragrance. This was a complete disappointment! I normally love love 4pets mobile, but there is no way I'll be calling back for additional services. This was terrible and such a careless experience.

When I made the appintment I told the lady that he was dirty, long wiry hair and some matts. I said I would pay extra for the matts. Took him in this morning. I smiled and said,"Good morning." No one said hello. The lady to the left of the counter recoiled and made a face at Ohbee. The other joined into fussing at me for not getting him in for a brush and blow dry before grooming. I told them I had an 11:00 hair appointment but would get him after. They said,"Oh, he'll be ready before that." I live in DeLeon Springs and could not have picked him up and got to my appointment. About 10:15 they called. I asked if I could pick him up after my hair appointmrnt. They said,"No, come get him now." There are more groomers in Deland than to have to deal with their discourtesy. I paid his fee and told them that we wouldn't be back. And we won't. Maybe you have enough customers that you think you can treat people anyway. You can't and with me, you won't.

I also have dog bones grooming items and just about everything you need for your puppy dog. Today we got the dog cookies. Darlene got two squirrels for her dogs and I got a dog cookie biscuit. As I was leaving I noticed they have the games where you hide the food and then your dog has to work to get it. I think I'll come back another day and see what kind of games they have. Very nice puppy dog shop.!
