Very Disappointed- Poor Management Ruined Everything If I…read morecould give the zero star, I would do that. I usually don't write reviews, but I feel like people should know what they're getting into. This company might look nice from the outside with all their fancy products, but the truth is the management there is completely incompetent. As an employee, if you have an issue, good luck getting any proper support- management just makes excuses and blames everyone else. It's obvious they don't respect their employees either, because the staff seemed stressed and miserable. Maybe if the managers actually did their jobs instead of hiding in the back office, this place wouldn't be such a mess. One of the worst work experiences I've ever had was working at this company. There is absolutely no management there and they don't care at all about their employees.

This place has some interesting wares in it and for not that much money! I think it's one of the…read morefew places in Chinatown that still sell cheap housewares of decent quality. It's run by an old guy and his wife, probably in their late 50's to early 60's and it's cute watching them work. They speak decent English so don't let the fact that they are Chinese fool you. They can help you out with whatever you are looking for. Today, I bought a tea pot. They sell many tea pots that are similar or the same as the ones used in Chinese restaurants starting from $4 to $10. Now a tip, make sure you ask if they can fill the tea pot with hot water before you leave the store. Ceramic, no matter where you buy it, can crack with the first pour of boiling water. I've read online many times that you should pour hot tap water into a ceramic tea pot at least twice to help prevent it from cracking before filling it with boiling water for the first time. I only say this because the first tea pot I bought cracked on my first pour of boiling hot water. However, it could be because I ran it through a dishwasher first. When I brought it back, the guy wouldn't give me an exchange (because I probably damaged the pot myself running it through the dishwasher) but was kind enough to demonstrate that the next pot on the shelf held boiling water no problem and offered it to me with a slight discount. So the customer service was OK there. (Yes, I'm sure a large chain store like Sears would have just exchanged it, but given that a new pot that worked was had for less than $5 and that it was a small mom and pop, I could live with it. I don't mind supporting small business.) They have a lot of knick knacks and other household goods. Their awning read Tungling however, their receipt and price stickers say Tin Tin Market. So not sure if they just never got around to changing the awning from a previous owner. Regardless, I would go back to check out the other housewares there. If you're in Chinatown, check it out!

We had to order another one and that took another 2.5 weeks. Unfortunately the bar didn't work for our shower so went to return it and they said there would be a 25% restocking fee, if Moen would take it back. Say what? We will NEVER shop there again and will never recommend anyone else to shop there. One more reason to shop online, no customer service anyway!

Amazing showroom but not a lot in stock there. If you need something right away, don't bother going there). Upon arriving here, I was glad to see a parking lot beside the building; that excitement was soon tempered when I saw all the trucks in the lot and the dumpster bins taking up spots. Better to park on the street. When I entered the showroom, a nice lady greeted me and offered to help me find the type of faucet I needed. (I see other reviews of this place note that service here is lacking. My experience differs. I had great help here!). I like how they have a decent selection of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and many are quite nice, but for me, they did not have a quarter of the selection that EMCO did, and they weren't as consistently über-cool and contemporary and artistic and high-end. Of course, the flip side of all this is, the products they have, while pricey, are not even remotely as expensive as those at EMCO. So it's a trade-off. Plus, this place carries a lot in stock (and if they don't have it here, chances are one of their other stores has it in stock. The faucet I chose was in stock in their Richmond store, and they were able to expedite its transfer to this store for my plumber to pick up in a day). My plumber was able to order this faucet at a 15% discount, so that helps! I also liked how this place opens super early for plumbers to pick up orders, so my plumber can get my faucet for me before my 8am appointment. I'll have my new faucet installed by 8:30am. Nice!
