Worst experience ever!!! Ordered a shower bar, got told it would be about 3 weeks. It came in 6 weeks later, went to pick it up, they sold it on us (theft). We had to order another one and that took another 2.5 weeks. Unfortunately the bar didn't work for our shower so went to return it and they said there would be a 25% restocking fee, if Moen would take it back. Say what? We will NEVER shop there again and will never recommend anyone else to shop there. One more reason to shop online, no customer service anyway! read more

I came to this showroom upon the recommendation of my plumber. (Initially he had recommended EMCO on 7th, about 1/2 mile away. See my review for EMCO. Amazing showroom but not a lot in stock there. If you need something right away, don't bother going there). Upon arriving here, I was glad to see a parking lot beside the building; that excitement was soon tempered when I saw all the trucks in the lot and the dumpster bins taking up spots. Better to park on the street. When I entered the showroom, a nice lady greeted me and offered to help me find the type of faucet I needed. (I see other reviews of this place note that service here is lacking. My experience differs. I had great help here!). I like how they have a decent selection of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and many are quite nice, but for me, they did not have a quarter of the selection that EMCO did, and they weren't as consistently über-cool and contemporary and artistic and high-end. Of course, the flip side of all this is, the products they have, while pricey, are not even remotely as expensive as those at EMCO. So it's a trade-off. Plus, this place carries a lot in stock (and if they don't have it here, chances are one of their other stores has it in stock. The faucet I chose was in stock in their Richmond store, and they were able to expedite its transfer to this store for my plumber to pick up in a day). My plumber was able to order this faucet at a 15% discount, so that helps! I also liked how this place opens super early for plumbers to pick up orders, so my plumber can get my faucet for me before my 8am appointment. I'll have my new faucet installed by 8:30am. You are alright as a showroom, but I just felt this place was lacking in service. Came here due to a washroom reno, as it was a place highly recommended by my contractor. Came here with my partner and was practically standing around like a light-post looking for service, this place is not a huge Home Depot so it's not hard to spot someone walking in this store, I would have to even consider this location small as a showroom compared to the many others I have walked around in during this expedition of finding parts for the washroom of mine. When we finally received some small morsel of service it felt like we were being rushed as to what we wanted, I thought there was going to be some consultation, maybe show us some alternatives to what you have. Just remember, even if you see something in this showroom you like, you might not get it as this is not a store, it's a showroom, and you maybe highly disappointed to know that your potential purchase may be backlogged for weeks. The positives are that they do carry the better brands, not the everyday stuff you see at Rona and HD like Grohe, Hansgrohe, Robern, Toto, just to name a few, and you know your getting quality. Maybe you will have better luck than I did to drop a few bills here, but if I plan to renovate another washroom in my house I would give this place another chance, if not that, than maybe a look. read more

POOR SERVICE! I walked in looking for information about a kitchen sink. I was told they don't give suggestions and when I asked about a product the sales associate didn't give me any information. I went to both locations Richmond and Vancouver and they were all terrible. Instead go to Wolseley Kitchen and Baths they actually helped me and gave me information about the products. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET! I came in here with my friend today, and he really needed to buy a faucet. He had a lot of questions and wanted someone who had some expertise to help him out. The woman working there was so not helpful and was super rude to him. She even said she was trying to have a quiet moment with this other person and totally blew him off. We waited around for 15 minutes while this woman refused to help him, and he got so frustrated after a while that we just left the store and they lost his business. They missed out on a sale worth a couple hundred dollars because he was really set on buying a faucet today, but didn't want to support a business with such rude customer service. If I could give a business 0 stars, trust me, I would! read more

Yup worst customer service ever. I agree with others. Came here when my plumber told me to check it out. Staff were more into gossiping then helping customers so I wandered around aimlessly. Finally stood at the desk for a solid 5 minutes when the two stopped yapping and noticed me. Yes, can I help you? Me. Yes please. She seemed really bothered that I had interrupted their conversation. Didn't help me at all but rather spoke to me in a condescending tone. Not nice at all. I will not return. Also, not sure if they have a dress code. I'm guessing not. It is a hardware store of some sorts where people buy bathroom faucets, tubs and toilets. Not sure if high heels, cleavage hanging out, thick heavy make up and a mini skirt...maybe she makes more sales that way. What the heck do I know. I just wanted a toilet. read more

I agree with Simon and Terris that they are not going to kiss your ass in this place, there will be no fawning here. That said, they have a good selection, and if you're working with a contractor/plumber on their list, the courtesy discount sure makes it worth it. I got my toilets here for less than they would have cost in the States (even when the dollars were on par). That's a good deal! And, while there is no ass-kissing, they are efficient. If you know what you want, and you just want to go get what you need at a good price, this is your place. read more

Came in to buy a couple of things for a bathroom reno i was doing. Maybe I was just lucky but I found the customer service to be pretty good; the associate helping us was peter ad he was was very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of good quality products and it's not super expensive either. If you are working with a plumber or contractor you can even use there courtesy discount which is awesome. Ordered a sink last November, coming from Ontario to Penticton. All Covid-19 delivery excuses aside - thanks, Splashes, you've used them all - 3 months is way too long! It's on a truck somewhere because Splashes says it's on it's way. They're still looking for it! Is Splashes looking for the sink or the truck? Bit of a mystery since Splashes should know which truck it was loaded on - you are a business after all. Trucks don't usually just go missing. So again, what are you looking for - the sink (MAJOR HINT - it's on the truck) or are you looking for the truck? If it's the truck you're looking for, try calling the police. Just how long does a customer have to wait while Splashes look and looks and looks. If Splashes had any idea about customer service that sink would have been reordered on a rush and carefully tracked to ensure it didn't go walkabout like the last one. read more

So interesting happened this morning. This is a story of human error and ego. My partner and I and her mom have spent upwards of $20 at this place at this point. I picked up my bath tub this morning with my Toyota matrix. We opened it up and looked at, but I didn't closely inspect it, fully expecting it would be in perfect shape. So did the salesperson. We all stood there looking at the tub and loaded up. Before I loaded it up, I opened up the box and put a soft blanket inside it and put the content of my trunk in the bathtub, the salesperson cringed. I assured her I am OK with doing that at which she say, we've inspected it so its you tub, whatever. I go home and as i'm unloading all of this there's i noticed a crack in the top edge of it. The crack, has even been attempted to be repaired with epoxy. Its so obvious! So I load it back up and I take it back. How did all of us miss this. So I called the salesperson, and without even looking at it closely, she accuses me of causing this. I'm blown away. I said," look at it!". "No, its because you loaded a few small item into it, and that's what caused it". That was ten minutes before. So I tried to repair it too? In that time?. I'm floored. I ask her to call a manager, at which he's like, how did all of you miss this. And I agree, I don't know, but I am not lying I am telling her and she maintains this is my fault. The manager looks at it and he can clearly see it been attempted to be repaired. They both maintain this is somehow my fault. After a long and really stressful conversation where my coworker, who is usually the calmest person I have ever met even loses his cool at the way both of these people are basically calling me a liar. I have two degrees and I am an industrial designer. I do community work and don't believe in lying about something as stupid as this. This salesperson has just made sure, that my design company will never bring any of our interior design clients back here. We just wont. We wanted to support a local company and they basically said, we don't want your business by treating me like this. My name is Theunis Snyman, and I am not a liar and I wont ever shop at this company again. I have been in sales, warranty should cover this, whats the point in passing that on to your customer. Today's experience was deplorable. I had high hopes and came armed with as much information that I could bring...a template, photos, etc. and expected someone to help me decide on my new sink and faucets for my kitchen reno. We had gone to the Richmond location before and experienced much better service. Today, I was not helped in the least and the young woman that I spoke to was of no help...was condescending in her attitude and had a stock answer for all of my questions which was...."well, it's up to you". I do recognize that it is indeed up to me, but the reason for a showroom and sales people is to educate and offer advice. Otherwise, I might as well shop online. I received none of this help and was furious. I then went to Home Depot where they sell some of the same products and received a wealth of knowledge and advice. Needless to say I will not be buying from Splashes and Mandy wasted my time!!! read more

My experience w andrew sheret was positive. Went to home depot & got the part for $5. It didnt fit and was made in indonesia. Andrew sheret parts counter had the part & it was made in Canada . It was $7. But well worth it for quality. Parts counter guy was helpful & also several plumbers in line knew I was an amateur & gave me good pointers for free. read more

I expect courtesy and common kindness when shopping. Some of the staff have none of the above. The products are good. But if you have to grovel to get help, and then feel that you have someone is put out by your getting their attention, there are many more places to shop. I highly recommend avoiding this showroom. You do better shopping their brands online and going to a warehouse to pick up. read more

I am an interior designer and I have done over 30 washrooms - this is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered, after the sale the staff was no help and there were missing parts. I would never use them again. It's a shame as they do have a great selection of product but the staff was a nightmare and made the job unnecessarily stressful and enjoyable. read more
