Tile is tile for instance, but some of the hardware, tools, fasteners, etc. are pure junk Just be picky about what you get, and if you want anything to last, you may want to shop elsewhere. That being said, this is great for landlords where things like doorknobs, locks, and other small things that could break easily can be replaced cheaply, even if damaged by the tenants. I will continue to shop here, but I'll just be judicious on what I decide to buy.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Poor Workmanship and Unprofessional Customer Service…read moreMy experience with this countertop installation company was extremely disappointing. They overpromised and significantly underdelivered. All of the countertops were cut incorrectly, resulting in unacceptable workmanship and a failure to deliver the quality of work we had contracted and paid for. Despite the significant problems caused by these errors, the company failed to honour its contractual commitments and offered neither compensation nor a reasonable resolution. There was little accountability for the mistakes made or consideration for the inconvenience and frustration caused to the customer. What made this experience even worse was the appalling lack of professionalism and respect. During a phone conversation in which I was genuinely trying to resolve the situation, an employee specifically, Tina, laughed and mocked me instead of addressing my concerns respectfully and professionally. Being belittled by a company representative while attempting to find a fair resolution was completely unacceptable. Mistakes can happen in any business. However, a company's integrity is demonstrated by how it takes responsibility, stands behind its work, and treats customers when things go wrong. In this case, both the workmanship and the customer service fell far below any reasonable standard. I have text messages documenting the unprofessional communication, disrespectful treatment, and issues with the company's commitments. My experience has left me with serious concerns about their accountability, integrity, and willingness to stand behind their promises and workmanship. I would not recommend this company and strongly advise others to consider their options carefully before hiring them. Do your research, ensure all commitments are documented in writing, and do not assume the company will take responsibility if something goes wrong. Based on my experience, this company failed not only to deliver acceptable workmanship but also to demonstrate the basic professionalism and respect every customer deserves. Save yourself the stress and frustration. Choose a company that stands by its word, takes responsibility for its work, and treats its customers with respect.

Like the fridge walked on its own and caused it !!! Carmen is specially very rude and unprofessional. 1-They moved the fridge to bring in the counter top and dropped the fridge it on the entrance tiles and broke and damaged the tiles.Refusing to take any responsibility for their actions. 2- They secured the dishwasher into place drilled holes into it and put a rough piece of wood to secure it causing a hole into the dishwasher which also sits crooked and not flush with the counter top. 3- There is a dark line in the middle of the white counter top that looks like a crack. They send their installer to look at these issues, all he did was rub acetone on it and made a mess by throwing some superglue on the tiles like that is going to fix the problems then kept staring at the damages and spoke a foreign language to the owners and did not seem to know what to do. There are more complaints against them not taking responsibility on the BBB. Stay away from this company. Gilda Arjomandi

NEW ADDRESS!! 2856 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2G7…read more Bright, well laid out aisles, neatly stocked with various homewares and more than enough hardwares to do most home repairs and/or projects. But of course not for major renovations or decorating projects - for those you'd want to go to Home Depot, where I'd many times get bewildered and lost amongst all the variety and choice of items. Here, the staff is very friendly, helpful and indeed tries to understand what we laymen needs or wants to do, and show what all we need. I guess that since home hardwares are individually owned, that this is the big difference from the big box stores which caters to the trades and more professional carpenters, plumbers and electricians etc. Not particularly cheap but fair prices and welcoming for us amateur gardeners, home decorators and those forced to become their own handyman! By the way, this is their new location - I've gone to their west 4th location for years and was dismayed that I couldn't find it recently! Surprised that they're still showing the old address on Yelp!!
