I did some research to find best carpet for pets. Settled on Mohawk. Took home samples, picked a color and placed an order. When the carpet came in, we scheduled a date. They were really nice and extremely professional. The new carpet is so much nicer and better than what was installed when we purchased the house. Very happy working with Faber and highly recommend! We hired HK&B over 15 years ago and were pleased with their work. When it came time to do over…read morethe kitchen in our current home, we elected to use them again. Mike did a great job with our kitchen layout, Glenn and Don communicated well and the installers did a great job. The installers have excellent craftsmanship and are genuinely nice guys; they want you to be happy with the final product. Our job was finished in Aug 2021. We are happy with the final product and our kitchen looks great. A few items to note: 1. Mike is an awesome designer and nice guy but we needed to chase multiple times to get our plans after our deposit was paid. Mike had to personally drive over to get plans to us for a meeting with our general contractor which added additional stress. Communication and follow up could be improved. 2. Get installation costs in writing in your contract to avoid the actual cost being over what was verbally communicated. We ultimately arrived in a good place but the back and forth on this added stress. Would recommend HK&B.

He guided us throughout the whole process and was super responsive. We ended up sanding/staining our steps, and replacing our floors to hardwood. From the initial steps of giving us advice on our floors to helping us meet our timeline for completion, he was awesome to work with! Our floors came out beautiful and we can't thank him enough! Although we hit a few hiccups along the way, Marko was able to handle them professionally and resolve everything in a timely manner. Our floors took about a week from start to finish. I would highly recommend Marko and Magnus Flooring for your flooring project!

In April of this year (2023), I purchased a table from White House in Wayne New Jersey. It was…read moredelivered in June and there were no issues with the delivery and everything was fine. Shortly after getting the table, I placed a couple of plastic bottles on it. Later, I noticed scratches where I had placed the bottles (see attached photo). I thought the scratches might just be marks on the surface and tried to rub them out. I used a plastic scrubber and only made matters worse. I contacted the sales rep at White House Furniture and their response was basically, "oh, well." They would do nothing to help me repair the damage aside from giving me the name of a refinisher. This is a DINING ROOM TABLE but now I am now afraid to put anything on it because it scratches so easily. This table, plus delivery cost me almost $2,000 and I am stuck with a table that needs to be covered to be used. I might as well have gone to a Bob's furniture store and purchased a cheap one if it is going to be covered all the time. I like working with the smaller vendors but will not support vendors who do not stand behind their products. Avoid these people.

We first met with them and scheduled our job and then had to postpone it for a couple of years after giving them a deposit. Bob returned our deposit even though he didn't have to. When we were once again ready, we didn't hesitate to give them our business. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the speed of it. Our bathroom was gutted on May 29 and completed on July 2, 2019. The only thing still to come is the custom shower enclosure. Chris coordinated all the moving parts and was here every day to work and to oversee anything that he didn't do himself (which was not much). He even went the extra mile and tested (and cleaned out!) our drains after installing the sink. This issue had nothing to do with the work he did; it was an existing problem. NJ Remodelers was recommended to us by a friend, and we would gladly recommend them for a kitchen or a bath remodel. We needed help with some of the unusual aspects of the design and Bob fit the bill by giving us lots of options from his years of experience. They are honest, trustworthy, and very communicative at every step of the project. Chris made sure we were satisfied with everything--a trait that I have not seen before with the many contractors I have hired over the years. Every day, Chris was a pleasure to work with due to his cheerful attitude and the fact that he really enjoys his job. He went over everything he had done and was going to do each day. He put up with all my nit-picking without complaint and delivered a beautiful bathroom in a challenging, small space. NJR is generous about passing their contractor's discount along to their customers for tile, fixtures, and anything else that they can buy at a lower price, so the cost is very reasonable and fair. They recommend suppliers who they have relationships with and know are reliable. Chris knows how to keep the project running as smoothly as possible. You won't be sorry if you choose this family business!

I even repeated the request as we also just had our master bedroom carpets professionally steam cleaned. They said their boots were clean, and I felt bad as the dad's back was obviously an issue as he used a cane and asked in advance over phone how many stairs there were. Went over a few small quick projects, they said they could do it right away and would get back to me quickly with a quote. I waited, and waited, and five days later I finally reached out to them. Nearly 10 hours later they send me a copy/paste email response that they got a job they bid on and won't be free again until September. It was early November when they came to my house. I can only imagine what kind of service they provide if there were issues with their work on the backend if this is their front end. Highly disappointed in their business etiquette, but perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. Please note that I originally posted a one star rating as I was furious and disappointed in how we were left out in the cold to now have to rush during the holidays (Thanksgiving is in two days) to find a reputable company. The reason for my updating to three stars is simply for the fact that the father had written the attached apology following receipt of my response to them echoing similar disappointment and disapproval in how they mismanaged communication on this.
