Excellent food and spot on service. I was just in town for a quick meeting and this was the perfect lunch spot.

Had an excellent experience at Bareburger in Ridgewood, NJ. We went there straight from a basketball game championship game and my son was on the loosing team. My waiter, Angelo, was attentive and recommended the Mediterranean salad. The food came out quickly and was excellent. My 7 year old son ordered the teddy chicken nuggets that were perfectly prepared. The food and the upbeat mood of Angelo helped us quickly get over our gloomy mood. Angelo was filled with anecdotal good humor and listened to our story of almost winning the basketball game. The good vibes and positive energy of this Bareburger employee allowed us to enjoy good food, forget our troubles, and sit back a relax. Thank you Angelo! read more

We just recently moved to Ridge wood and decided to give this place a try. Me and my family were very impressed at the service and quality of the food. Our server James was very kind to us and also very kid friendly! The food was amazing, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and was blown away by it. Overall an amazing experience , will definitely be coming back! read more

should have known from the start that it wasn't going to be the best place to eat since when we sat down it took about 15 minutes for a server to actually approach us and take our orders. A table that came 10 minutes after us and had more people got their drinks and food before us. The only reason i'm giving 2 stars is because the burger tasted good and had good flavor but i asked for extra cheese and it doesn't even look like there is any and the amount of bacon is a joke. when you take off the bun it does not look appetizing and the cheese fries came with basically no cheese that we had to ask for more. Honestly you're better off going to shake shack. read more

Dined here a few days ago with my husband. We were seated quickly. The food was great and the drinks were delicious. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. Our server Reilly was a very charismatic young lady. She was friendly, outgoing and a great server. Our meals came out hot and delicious. Reilly kept checking and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back and soon. Highly recommend read more

Solid chicken sandwiches with full chicken breast. Southern chicken was tasty. Kim the server was great, especially given we sat outside in 93 degree temp! I miss the old menu but new options are tasty read more

I went last week and really enjoyed it. The food was great and perfectly cooked and delicious. My server Reilly was charming, courteous and friendly. She was very attentive to my requests and always seemed to be on top of everything. The dining room was spotless. There were no tables left with dishes. As soon as the customers left the staff cleaned the table. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. I will surely return!! read more

This place used to be fantastic, but the quality has fallen off so badly. The food is I'll prepared and borderline inedible. So sad to see read more

Had a really good experience at Bareburger. I ordered the beyond meat burger with the fries and they were really good. The burger needed a little more flavor and salt but adding ketchup helped. I also really liked the soda, tried out two flavors and it was really delicious. Service was fast and no complaints there. read more

I have been here a couple of times in the past month and have been very impressed with the food. This most recent outing I had the Ranchero Elk burger which was very tasty and a nice change of pace. I can always find something interesting on tap and I find the service to be especially friendly and accommodating (particularly with my young children) - shout out to Angelo and Nelly. read more

Been at this location twice, both during Covid times. Good service and employees seem knowledgeable about the menu. My most recent time here was last Friday, and had a So Cal burger which is a turkey type burger--so delicious. I had regular fries but tried a friend of mine's sweet potato fries which were good too! I'd go back/order takeout again soon! read more

What a disappointing dinner experience! It took forever to get our food and they kept screwing up my order. By the time I finally got my right order, everybody else was done with their meals so I just got mine to go. The waiter said "sorry for the confusion, I took it off the check" but it was on it! When I mentioned it to him, he replied, "you had 2 orders because we had to make it again so I took one off". Seriously?! So disappointed!! read more

We were introduced to bareburger a couple of years ago when staying in NJ. Everytime we are any where near or can swing by we will get it. My DD has celiac disease and it's one of her favorite burger places to go and feel safe about eating. The manager Rich at the ridge wood location was kind and knowledgeable. He took time to talk to us .... It is our favorite location so far ... it is a great addition to the community and I hope it continues to be there for us to visit in the years to come! read more

Our waiter, Angelo, was top notch! Very accommodating for us and our kids! Great service! Ask for him when you come!

We went to Bareburger over the past weekend. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were really attentive especially our waiter Angelo. He was very courteous. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back again! read more

Visited this location 3 times during COVID -- food is delicious, service is excellent, & it's evident the entire staff is doing their part to keep clientele + each other safe. They offer take out + outside seating if you're not comfortable dining indoors. If you're looking for plant-based options, they offer impossible meat & vegan shakes. I highly recommend the "Dilly Chick" sandwich & the mint cookies & cream shake -- delicious! read more

We had Angelo as our waiter this afternoon and he was so personable and attentive. I love bareburger because I can easily find multiple vegetarian options. Angelo made a place I already love going to even more enjoyable because of his great service and positive attitude. I hope I always get put in his section. A++ read more

Food is not good here. The beef pattys are a strange flavorless grey color. The bison burger was dry as a bone with no flavor. No hint of seasoning (salt or pepper). Bacon jam was good (the only highlight) but not nearly enough to overpower the dry meat. Your better off getting some ground beef from the Swiss pork store in Fairlawn and making your own. This is barely barely a step above fast food joints like McDonald's. The prices do not justify the quality of the ingredients and cooking execution. Waitress was good. Beer on tap wasn't cold enough. Will not be back. read more

Place looks nice. Chair is uncomfortable. Bar is nice. Good amount of craft beers although i wish they had more Jersey beers. I got an American burger with bacon. It was delicious. A bit messy but thats fine. Fries were good. Didn't care for the special sauce but fine for dipping. I asked about the elk burgers, venison, duck and unfortunately they will not sell them anymore. Smh. Decent menu. I will definately come here again. Damn that burger was good! read more

The building is really nice and aesthetically pleasing. The burgers were surprisingly better than my past experience with them so that was nice. The overall taste and presentation of the food was a 3.5/5. It is not the most amazing burger but it was still good. The only time I would go again is if every other restaurant was closed around it (like on this particular day). The service was also not the best and would rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Cozy atmosphere, excellent service from alyssa! The manager came up to us after our meal, and asked how everything went. We got the wagyu 8oz burgers, everything was excellent. read more

This is a good spot in downtown Ridgewood for a simple, quick meal. They have good options for vegetarians and the food is good quality. They can take big groups if you have a lot in your party however they do not take any type of reservations no matter your size. read more

We love coming to this location. The food and service is so great. Being gluten-free this is one of the best options around for me, I can have fries and chicken fingers! I just had lunch at Bare Burger with a group of 12 the food was good but the service was excellent.we were a difficult and demanding group but the server never lost his patience and we left smiling with full tummies.I will return soon with another group of friends! read more

Have had other vegan burgers at other establishments before and I would skip this place. I had the Duchess Burger here. It was just okay, lacking in flavor. For $14 it's not worth it. Bread bun was dry. Garlic aioli did not do anything for my burger. Also had the West Side fries for the table. It's supposed to come with buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Ours came mostly with buffalo sauce and hardly any blue cheese, so I asked the server for extra blue cheese on the side. The menu showed $6 for cocktails and was charged $12 each for a Bellini and a Mimosa. I asked the server about it and she said I saw the Happy Hour prices. I feel they skimp on ingredients when they can do that's disappointing. Friendly service though so I appreciated that. Would not go back nor would I recommend it. Two thumbs down. read more

Food could have been good but I ordered delivery. The delivery location is about a two minute drive from the restaurant. Burgers and all sides arrived cold. The fries were soggy and had that flavor as if they've been sitting in the fridge overnight. It was honestly embarrassing. Took about 1.5 hours to receive order. If you are going to offer a delivery service, do better than this. I ordered over 80 dollars of food and who knows, it might have been amazing. But no one in my party enjoyed it because it was cold. Not lukewarm but actually cold. Unfortunately experience was so poor I won't take anymore chances on this place. read more

We came here and was sat in a reasonable time. The waitress took our water order and drink order and disappeared on their phone and in the back for literally 40 minutes until they took our order. It was the most infuriating thing. Finally another waiter was kind enough to finally grab our food order and even deliver the food at the end. Our main waitress did nothing and didn't acknowledge us at all. Her service was absolutely terrible. Definitely turned off, food was overpriced and then had to deal with that. read more

Walked by on a nice summer day and saw all the doors open and decided to stop by and have a drink at the bar. We sat by the open doors to get some fresh air and it was great. That's kind of where the great experience ends. The service was subpar. Waited for our drinks for a while - they were ready and sitting at the bar. When drinks came to the table, the server was apologetic about the wait. Manager approached us and also apologized for the wait which is appreciated. Otherwise, I would have given this place 2 stars. read more

The food is still consistent and good, and for the most part the service is fine, if a little diminished in quality, but the thing that was disappointing recently is that we arrived at 9:30pm only to be turned away, tho the listings all still show 10pm, and we've gone there previously much closer to the closing and got food without any problem. It would have been better if the person turning us away explained that they had to close early (or whatever), but they were a little rude and treated us like we were in the wrong for expecting service during hours they listed as open. I still like it as an option for vegan food, but we were bummed out by this experience and more recent ones overall. I'm leaving the rating tho because I still like it enough. read more
