WARNING : you have to pay for returning. Try at your own risk! Ended up paying half the price of my bra just on shipping and returning. They do not tell you on their website that neither shipping nor return is not covered by their company! The bra I ordered was not like the description on the website and did not fit. It was also very sheer which was not what the picture made it look like. Needless to say, one should be able to return clothing items that do not fit and are not like the website without penalties. However, all the shipping charges and the hassle of shipping back etc was not worth it at all. I ended up paying half the price of the mediocre bra just on shipping costs. What a bummer... this website has some great brands but their promo's are very misleading and their customer service is poor. I got a promo for 20% after purchasing over $250 worth of intimate apparel, but when I tried to apply the promo to my purchase it said it was not valid. I spoke to a representative and told her I loved their selection of bras but that their promo's were misleading and she terminated our conversation. It just seems like any good business would want to know if things seemed deceiving on the consumer end. read more

I love these people! I first got help through the chat, then twice by phone, and each experience has been fantastic. The chat rep was right there all the time, not off answering other peoples' chats simultaneously as some do, and the phone reps were polite, well-spoken, friendly, and helpful. Will never do business here again. I received an offer in the mail as a "thank you for being a great customer" - the "VIP" 30% off mailing. Excited, I went to the website, spent my valuable time shopping, and chose 4 different bras... only to then find out "my" 30% off is not applicable to ANY ONE of the 4 bra brands I chose. I went back to read the flyer and nowhere on the flyer does it state that any brand is excluded, I had to dig around the site to find their long list of exclusions, which includes only the most popular brands - ridiculous. I have better thing to do than to be Baited and Switched as I'm taking my wallet out to pay, and will not be wasting my time with this company again. They have no respect for their customers. In addition their "non hassle returns" includes a $6.95 restocking fee. They're out of date, and use unethical bait and switch advertising. Never again. read more

I needed to exchange a purchase because I was one size in the item I had, but it was too small in the different brand i purchased. Due an email problem with my internet provider, I did not receive a voucher I needed to do the size exchange. I did receive it today, but it had expired. I had a replacement order ready but without the voucher the price was too high. I called Customer Service and spoke with Kimberly. Probably the most efficient and personable CS reps I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She placed the order from my screen and applied a discount so the price was the same as before. I can not recommend this company more highly. Would give Kimberly a 10 if I could. read more

I realized immediately after ordering that it autofilled my old shipping address. Unlike most sites, there was no way to alter the order at all. Despite contacting customer support within 5 minutes, there was nothing they could do. Money down the drain, and not so much as even an offer towards a future purchase. My card was charged after a month of waiting for a "backorder" only to be told when I called that the card should not have been charged becausethe itrm was still on back order. Bare Necessities was a lifesaver during Covid. I stumbled onto the site during lockdown Lovely beautiful lingerie from the best brands. The same brands and quality as Bergdorf, Bloomingdale's, and Saks and more stock than either of these stores. They run frequent sales, the delivery is quick everything comes beautifully packaged. The returns are exceptionally easy and free. I purchased Chantelle bras and panties. Cashmere Robe by Arlotta Cashmere Sweatsuits by Arlotta. Nightgowns and Pajamas. I was thrilled with these purchases. Excellent customer service by Krysten. This is truly the best online lingerie store out there. However, I wish they would have a brick-and-mortar store. I purchased three bathing suits that were not the best fit and quality. My suggestion is that they upgrade the quality of the bathing suits and sell Vix. Melissa Odabash, Norma Kamali etc. Very frequent sales are the icing on the cake. read more

I love the bra's that I received however one seemed to have been returned by someone else (no tags whatsoever) the other two bra's had three tags each. I called to express my concern during Covid ... I couldn't even return a hairdryer unused still in box due to Covid and this clearly was someone else's who returned it. Worst of all, I tried emailing Bare Necessities (emails rejected!!!) and I called six times only to wait and wait etc. Finally I reached someone today and as soon as I began to talk, she disconnected me. Purchased items on sale and was so excited! About 10 days later I still hadn't received the package. Concerned I asked their email customer service and apparently my order had been cancelled because my address for billing wasn't complete. They called my bank (who only has one address on file) and the bank said the card didn't match the address. Bare Necessities said they emailed me with this information, but I have no email, only the confirmation. Couldn't help me, didn't even offer to give me the sale prices on the items I wanted in the first place. They carry my exact size which I have never been able to find shopping in a local store. They ship quickly. I have had to return items twice and they made it so easy to do so. Bare Nessessities/ online website sucks I orderd four Bras from this company, and in all fairness they sent them to me promplty in the correct order. However, I had to return them because I ordered the wrong sizes through no fault of thier own. I filled out the form for some simple exchanges, and there began the problems. There rules for exchange is to return your money first, but in the interim charge you for the items again. This would not be a problem had they returned my money first then simply take it back. While your waiting for your money back they do not resend your items!! "annoying" now I have no bras in the amount of $200.00 dollars nor my money back. The process to exchange or return seems to be a hassle! I would strongly suggest to anyone do not waste your energy with this company. I thought my first bad experience was a fluke: out of four bras I ordered, two fit, and the return costs on the others -- exchange after exchange trying to make something, anything work -- kept bringing my refund/store credit down further and further. I was paying more and more (than sticker price) for each item I was actually able to keep (2 out of 6 by the time I gave up). I understand re-stocking fees keep people from taking terrible advantage of companies, but at $6.95 a pop, when you're buying $7.99 underwear, you're screwed. Regarding my second order: I've chatted with two separate online reps who assured me there would be no riding up of the panties -- yeah, sure. Looking at other reviews, the customer service reps are all given "extremely/very knowledgeable" ratings; sure, they talk a good game. But Bare Necessities doesn't walk the walk. Laying the new pair of underwear on top of the only pair I own that actually fit (both size 6), Bare Necessities are nearly 1/2 the size all the way around: 2 inches less around the waistband, at least 2 inches less in the legs/crotch of the boyshorts. Why not just say that you'll have 4x the amount of fabric riding up as with a traditional thong, because that's the truth of it. This is the third company I've tried to order from, and I'm just so tired of it all. And I only weigh 155 lbs -- I cannot IMAGINE what curvier people than me have to deal with! read more

I recently ordered from this company, due to an email about a sale they were advertising for 30 % off . I read the email and at the bottom was a link that said "Shop the Sale" so I clicked on it and the items I was looking for came up lickety split. No mention that these items (three different items) were all excluded from the sale. I placed the order and did not understand why the discount was not showing, so I called the company and was told those items were excluded from the sale. I feel this is false advertising. Yes, I should have noticed that the price wasn't reduced in the cart, but I felt it would be deducted from the final tally. I was leaving on a trip the next day and didn't have any more time to look into it, so I called them again when I got back. Apparently there was a place on the site that said "excluded brands" and when I looked for it I found it very hard to find. I received the order and am happy with all but one of the items, however I will not ever shop with this company again. Also, I had to pay $6.95 for the return postage for a very small and almost weightless item I returned - probably could have done it for $1.50 if I'd had a car to go to the post office rather than using their return label. Don't use their return label; for $6.95 you'll get very slow service (and very lightweight items you are shipping, especially if you don't use their too-big box). And my email to Bare Necessities brought back a lot of argument from Kaede "if you look at the form you'll see it can take up to 15 business days for a return to be processed" (on the website it says 10 business days). Horrible customer service. Ordered bras during their friends and family sale. Size was wrong, contacted customer service where I was told they would exchange and honor the sale price. Received an email stating that they would charge me full price and then credit the $65.00 that was due me, however this would make the sale final. They did NOT apply credit and when I stated I wanted to return the items, I was told that the sale was final. $260.00 for bras that do not fit...... When I asked to be transferred to a manager I was told that they would send a message and someone would call me back. I bought my sisters some items from this store online. I ordered them over five weeks ago, I called to find out what happened, as my sisters never received the gifts. The customer service said that the orders were cancelled.They said someone should have called me for verification of some sorts, they did not know what verification. I reordered the items again, spending over 300$, as I promised my sisters who are flying to Spain that they would have the items. Today I called just to make sure everything was on track. They could not find one of the orders. They said that they did not know when it would be shipped out, and their policy does not require them to call the customer for verification, The lady said that they don't ever call. I will never use this company again, I will save my time and money and go through another company.This is just a poorly run company.
