On February 13, 2026, I placed an online order with Bare Necessities for several items. Based on their sizing guidelines, I ordered two bras. Unfortunately, these items did not fit. I have initiated two exchanges, and I have yet to receive the final merchandise. My package has been held at the warehouse for over a week. I have requested to cancel the order, but this request has been denied. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I have not received adequate support. Advertising on site is totally misleading. If you sign up for email you get 20% off. Then it says it was applied but, it's not there. Eventually you will find a hidden page that tells you practically nothing qualifies for this discount. It also said an additional 40% off at checkout. Same scam. You place order and it's not there then you find another page that says that brand only qualifies if the price ends in $0.99. Totally scamming. Do not buy here! read more

This company is the scammiest of them all. They use fraudulent sales and marketing scam tactics, to get sales online when your purchase items from them. You add the product quantity it tells you it required and it automatically adds the "free gifts". You don't manually add them or any codes. Great right? NOPE! Because what they do is ship your order then 2 days later send an email saying "by the way you didn't qualify for it, you didn't meet the dollar amount required for the free gifts". They don't give you an option to cancel knowing this. They send it anyways, which is fraud. The website never said to meet any dollar amount requirement. It only said 10 participating items of that category. Again, not dollar amount. So do not buy from these scammy people. They took advantage of many of us during the Black Friday/cyber Monday timeframe. The undergarments are cheap crap that you can buy on Temu or Amazon haul. Nothing special. They don't respond to emails or calls, they did once email saying they would escalate my concern to the appropriate department, then ghosted me. Refund please!!! Used to love bare necessities and bought all sorts of bras from them. They had awesomely helpful bra fit specialists to talk with. They've changed the website so that I can no longer purchase favorites, find my previous purchases, and bras that I've selected disappear from my cart when I sign in. read more

Absolutely horrible. Shipping said 5-7 days. After 8 days, I discovered it had not even been sent. I sent several emails stating I needed it by a certain date and requested that they send by a faster shipping process. The site states they will send out in 1-3 days. It was 9 days when it finally shipped. (3times what was promised on the site) now I see it will not be 5-7 days to arrive, but the expected arrival date is another 11 days. I thought o I ordered in plenty of time hit my event. I didn't expect 20 days to deliver. I now have to find another bra for my event. So the bra I spent $60 for is useless. They allow you to add and order a promotional item, but only cancel the promotional item after shipping the rest of the order because your order didn't meet the requirements. This practice should prevent you from adding it, just like every other website. They could also reach out before shipping because I would've just canceled. It appears to be unethical business practices. Customer service is a joke and just copy and pastes the "oh well life sucks" type of message. read more

I used to love Bare Necessities. I purchased all my bras and swim suits from them because their selection was always the best around. The website used to have a feature that provided the equivalent size in other lines since European fit/size is different that US, etc. It seems that they've even downgraded the lines they carry to the same old junk one can purchase at Walmart. Like Victoria Secret, Bare Necessities has gone the way of boring, cheap, run of the mill choices. I recently searched their website for a low back, convertible bra for a sheer back dress and they had nothing! BN is just another great company that was first sold off to Walmart who then sold it to an Israeli company. Once a good company is bought out by a bigger, greedy company, it usually goes downhill, it never improves. I have a ton of BN merchandise so it's not a great loss to me, just disappointing. read more

If you care about your sanity, privacy, and self dignity, do not buy from this company. The customer service and quality has gone down ever since they were bought out by Walmart. I used to buy from them all the time, but now I can see that all they care about is money and finding ways to charge/ rip off the buyer for every penny. Last year instead of issuing me a refund for items returned, BN decided to issue me a gift card instead. I did not ask for this, and when I attempted to use the gift code online months later, it did not work. So I called to request for the actual money back instead, which is what I should have received to begin with. Customer service said they couldn't do so- and if I wanted to use the gift card, I had to place the order directly through them. This was hilariously painful, humiliating, and time consuming; I spent half an hour with a man (that I didn't know at all) on the phone to order lingerie (which I find very personal). Can you imagine what it was like? 'You would like to exchange for XL the Tame your Tummy bodysuit with thong - in firm control, black lace because the last one didn't fit you, correct? Or ie: Could you repeat that? Was that the pair of firm fit - oh apologies, I meant the super high control spanx, in which size again? Oh, not the normal one? the high waist in black sheer? Oh wait or opaque one from Hanes? Or how about asking for the postpartum cellulite hiding panties, or fat and wrinkle control thigh slimming tights ankle high? Hilariously awkward and uncomfortable. Not only is this incredibly inefficient on both sides, but I could have purchased the items myself during that time for half the price on Walmart who had the same items, since note: it is the same thing now. Another time, I did not receive my refund at all until months later, and when I attempted to use the tracking provided, there was an error instead. So then I had to continually contact BN via email, and then phone. I had to wait for 3 minutes every time I asked a simple question on the phone. It was like pulling teeth. Anyone else have similar treatment? Please post and let others know. Because the very long five star review posted here (also commenting on other people's negative experiences) personally sounds a bit too defensive and too excited about lingerie. It also needlessly comments in bulletin format on the specifics of anything negative in other reviews. I placed an order for an item in a brand that I already own. I paid extra for expedited shipping. It did not fit. I put a review online and customer service responded with an automated AI response that was irrelevant and dismissive of my concerns. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one available. Waited 2 hours and no response. I placed a new order for 2 day shipping to receive Saturday - it will not arrive until Tuesday. Would give them a zero if possible. Ordered product from them on a Saturday and mistakenly processed the order with an old house address. Immediately called customer service but they were closed for the weekend. Contacted one of their fit reps via chat and she informed me that since it was the weekend and "customer service was closed" that the order wouldn't be processed until Monday morning and if I contacted customer service first thing Monday I could update the ship address. I did call first thing on Monday and my first 5 calls were disconnected. Finally was connected with an agent who informed me that a shipping label had been created so there was nothing she could do. The items did not fit, so I returned the items within the 30-day window and confirmed that their warehouse had indeed received the items. I returned merchandise and continually asked when I would received my refund (via email) I basically kept getting told that the company has "a new system" and my refund will be just a little longer. After nearly 30 days with no refund, on my several hundred dollar order (bras are expensive) I filed a fraud claim with my bank. My bank has refunded me the money and is currently investigating. There are two other orders (placed before I encountered the refund issue) that I am hoping to receive my refund on. If not, I will be filing fraud charges for those as well. read more

I did the online bra sizing and ordered three bras. They came on time and fit very well. However in less than one month, one of the bras' front clasp broke. I emailed 4 times with no response. When I called customer service and explained the situation, the person said "we don't take anything back after 30 days". First time customer and before I placed an online order I checked the return policy. Under FAQ "what is Bare Necessities return policy" nowhere does it say you're responsible for shipping. When I went online to return the item it said 6.95. I called customer service and was told there was another box below the "return policy box" and if I click that it states the 6.95 shipping. The next day I still had no shipping notification. I contacted customer support and they told me it had gotten stuck in pending verification and would ship first thing Monday. I bought over 100 dollars in bras and when they didnt fit, the agent told me I had to return them for a VOUCHER in order to exchange them for other sizes.   When one of the 3 "exchanges" worked out, I sent the others back for my refund.   I was now told because I used the VOUCHER which was the ONLY form I was told I could have to do my exchange, that now my balance is LOCKED UP  and cannot be refunded because I used the VOUCHER to make this last purchase.  I was first LIED to and COULD have had a refund to my credit card per the agent I spoke to today.  Telling me the first time I had to have a VOUCHER then STOLE my entire purchase amount now that your company will not refund the balance because the 2nd purchase was made using that damn voucher.   Thanks for stealing my money.  I dont need another bra and I cant get my money back from you now. read more

I was hesitant to order, given some of the reviews, but my daughters has grown into a hard-to-find bra size (small band/large cup) not available from US manufacturers, as I've come to find. BN came through with some options from the UK!! Because we were not 100% on sizing (and one bra brand never fits quite like the next), it took a couple orders to get to two bras that worked. We ordered multiple options each time and did two sets of returns in the process with no issue...in fact, the returns process could not have been easier and the credit hit my card in a timely fashion. You just go to their website, process the return, print out the return label and drop it off at FedEx. QUICK AND EASY! Yes, you will likely have to pay for the return shipping. We lucked into free return on one order as a promo and only paid $5 for the bra's we returned on the second order, both returns with full FedEx tracking. When was the last time you shipped even one piece of paper FedEx for only $5?? And the initial shipment to us was free! In the long run, I'd rather have free-to-me shipping every time and pay for occasional returns. Also...their website provided good information about the sizing differences in bra brands coming from different parts of the world and good information about bra sizing...and THANK GOD for a place like BN that offers these options. My daughter would not have found a bra that worked if we were stuck with only US bra brands or shopping in a physical US store. I'm feeling the need to comment on a few of the other reviews. -The US is experiencing MAJOR supply chain and logistic issues right now. Calm down people...you will experience delays and lack of information. Don't give a place a bad review because of something that's impacting almost every industry in the country. -Info on the returns process and that returns are not free was readily available on their website; if you are confused that you have to pay for returns, that's on you! If you don't follow the prescribed process...yes...you might experience delays in processing your return. -Yes, coupons do not apply to every product, but every store does that.
