This quaint laid-back shop makes wine selection easy for those short on time, knowledge, or both. The selections are fun and well-priced, and are backed by a helpful staff. The store is manned by its owner, who was fairly approachable and enthusiastic about his beer, wines and spirits. Once you've perused the selection at every pricepoint, it's hard to imagine not becoming a regular. OR, have really good operations and get all sushi orders out in good time. Lesson: if there's a big party going on when you walk in, take note of slow delivery of dine-in food if you're going to order. Or, don't order sushi at busy times. They have Paul Mason, Maverick, Arrogant Frog, Gerard Bertrand and Robert Mondavi Private Selection among others. If you swing by their stall in Pioneer Street Market, you can even get some bottles on a huge discount! I'm actually quite interested to purchase a bottle of red for my brother-in-law. I'm not a huge wine drinker but I do indulge occasionally on some glasses of white wine or champagne.
