Their dishes are largely based upon the PERi-PERi chilli that was born in Mozambique, spent its influential teenage years being influenced by Portuguese explorers, and later found its home and settled down in Rosettenville, South Africa. And you thought you had an interesting origin story! Although their Afro-Portuguese chicken creations taste already deliciously marinated, you are more than welcome to supplement your meal from a selection of choices at their "spicy chilli sauce bar." However, be for-warned that their Extra Hot PERi-PERi is self-described as, "Like tackling a ferociously fiery dragon."
