Strawberry Lemon Victoria Sponge Cake
James M.

The English Tart is a very nice and elegant-looking café to go for rest and recuperation. When I came there on a late Thursday morning, there was available seat at most places of the establishment. I had the Tuna Sandwich with the Vegetable Soup and coffee to go with it. The sandwich was great with most of the contents of the sandwich were fresh. The soup was decent and made for a good sauce for my sandwich. The coffee was pretty good, even though had to use plenty of cream and sugar for my liking. I also had their Victoria Sponge that I found was okay. You should know, however, that they stop serving their breakfast specials at 10:30 AM and their menu choices are pretty limit, despite the many desserts they have on display. The aesthetic countenance of the establishment's interior is overwhelmingly attractive. The place is lavished with antiquated furnishings, sophisticated dishware and traditional surfaces. The staff at the English Tart were very nice and professional with their service when I was there. Overall, the English Tart may not be the must-go-to place for breakfast or lunch. However, it is nice place for a snack or social gatherings.

Soup and sandwich combo

Best lunch ever!! Had a chicken sandwich, hold the tomahto, and potato and leek soup. Wifey had the quiche, salad, and after sampling my soup, a bowl of her own. We also shared an enormous pot of tea. Reasonable prices, great service, and fantastic home cooking!!!

Improv night at the Tarts! Packed house and delicious supper.

Have to say the friendliest staff for anywhere I have been. Food is as expected and they have a good variety of snacks.

Another random gem we found just by doing a yelp search while we were short on time crunch busy…read moreduring a wedding week. It was in a tiny shopping center which surprisingly had a lot of things- dollar store, pharmacy , SUBWAY sandwiches, diner wrap, liquor stores and a Circle K convenient store (with NO gas station.) This is a local neighborhood fav feel and was well decorated and cozy inside . Prices and pics of the menu helped. Very friendly service looked female owned as all the employees were women. My breakfast sandwich hit the spot and the veggie item was thumbs up too. Clean and safe area. Not loud at all . They have WiFi which is very crucial in this area of BC CANADA. We are visiting from the states with T- Mobile as our carrier and have up to date iPhone 17 sss. The service was lackluster and we needed to use WiFi as much as possible as the network was very bad maybe 1-2 bars every where for our experience. I recommend this place if you just need a coffee or smell pastry or breakfast sandwich while running early morning errands.

The latte I ordered was good and my friend really enjoys their soup. Service was very approachable…read moreand had no problem from them, whatsoever. What is great about this coffee place is that it is open later than most establishments. The second time I went there was for a late lunch, and I had the Meat Trio Sandwich with a Caramel Macchiato. The sandwich was good yet nothing special and the same can be said about the macchiato, even with the foam and syrup on top. Amazi is a nice place to take a coffee break or to pick up something to go.
