I went to GP on a recommendation. I stopped by their office and met Jason (Owner) We talked…read morebriefly about the work I wanted do on my Harley Trike. (Stage Two With Cam Upgrade) He sent me quote for the work we talked about. I am a person who wants to know how things are done, I research & research what I want to buy or want to have done. I started asking questions about the build and Jason was forthcoming. I found some issues I wanted answered, typically the tuner for the bike. Jason turned me over to Nick who responded. He said he had done this build with other Harleys and it worked well. I kept coming up with more questions and I believe for this build (Trike) they just got tired of me asking away. I wanted to know how the tuner chosen by them could actually tune the Trike if it didn't have any maps for a cam upgrade? Just pipes and air cleaner. Nick responded that he had done many tunes with it and it works? For this build the bike should be dyno tuned. GP did not have a dyno for a trike. Only place was Woodstock HD. After talking more, Jason wrote back stating he didn't think they could get me to where I wanted to be so advised I go some where who could. In all, I guess I am upset somewhat that if I had not researched my build I never would have learned the issues involved in the stage two upgrade I was trying to do. I would have had them do it possibly not getting the true performance out of the bike I had hoped for. I can't really say anything about the quality of the work they do, ratings were pretty good. I wanted to pass this along for others to read and be aware of. Bill

I was in a pretty bad spot since I had a road trip coming up and now nobody to do the much needed maintenance. In looking around for other shops I came across this shop. Nick and his people came through for me in a big way when I needed it most. Got the work done on the day of in just a few short hours. These guys do great work at a reasonable price. I plan on being back in the future. Thanks again guys!!

Wow, where do I even begin with these people? I had to replace my derailleur, and they quoted me a…read moreprice over the phone of $30. I thought that sounded low, and sure enough when I actually dropped off the bicycle they said it would be more like $60. No problem. But then when I went to pick up the bicycle suddenly it was over $140, and they had also replaced the chain without consulting me. Oh and they said they'd have it done by Saturday but it wasn't done until Tuesday. But whatever, as long as it worked, right? Except it didn't work. The chain they installed was slipping, and so I left the bicycle with them again instead of taking it home, so they could *actually* fix it. A full two and a half weeks later---"Don't call us, we'll call you" they told me at one point, after I had the audacity to ask when it would be finished---I went back to pick it up again after they said it was fixed. Except it still wasn't fixed. This time they had replaced the gear shift without my consent, which had been working fine and did not need to be replaced, and did not help resolve the chain slipping problem I actually had. At this point, they told me that the cassette would need to be replaced, to which I said, fine, go ahead and replace it. Except they didn't replace it. Instead, they used some kind of table saw to try and saw grooves into the existing cassette, which unsurprisingly only made things worse. I finally gave up on them, and left with my bicycle. I was out $140 and still unable to ride.

I literally told Will "one of the owners" that I think it's just the battery since the bike did not turn over and the bike only has 600 miles on it. I told Will "who was rude" to call me when the bike made it to their shop. He said it'll be around 3-4. Never called me. I called at 5pm, Will told me my bike would be ready for drop off same day. After my 2nd call to Will he tells me the battery is no good and offered me a battery that he ended up not having. I didn't know this until hours later after I called them again for the 3rd time for a status check. At this point it was 8pm. I did not want their services anymore and informed Will who exploded over the phone cursing at me admitting to being busy with other stuff and me calling for the status on my bike is not helping. I ended up canceling the inspection and just wanted it dropped off that night as Will stated earlier in the day. Out of anger Will said no. I had no choice but to set up a date and time for a drop off over the phone with Will for 15 minutes as he tried to argue with me about leaving the bike their and charging me for another aftermarket battery to be installed the next day that I did not want. Later that same night around 10:30pm, Will calls me apologizing and decided to drop off my bike... If it'll take more time or something goes wrong why would you not communicate that to your client? C'mon man... Only thing that went right was the pick up and drop off.

After calling every cycle shop in 50 miles and being denied for my bike being too old, I finally called Borelli and was suprised to hear that he'd take it on. It took almost a year to aquire all the parts needed for it, which on a bike that old is a serious undertaking. During this time, the bike was completely stripped, rebuilt, reassembled, and tuned until finally it was running again. All told, the bill came to just about 1k. For the amount of work put into the bike (including nearly 40 hours of labour), a thousand dollars in an astonishingly low number. As for the bike, it ran better than anything I've ever ridden after he finished. Driving past the shop, you'll see just how diverse his mechanical knowledge is. There are generally a dozen assorted motor vehicles of all types and ages congregated around the shop door. Be you a dirtbiker, quadder, racer, goon, or highway rider, Gary will fix it and fix it well.

And they replaced the spark arrestor. They even looked it over and told me of a couple other issues. I needed it for the weekend but I will be back with all our toys ( 3 KTM bikes and a quad). Couldn't ask for more and a fair price. They also carry many parts for motocross and others. Worth the 1 hr drive.
