Beautiful view and flavor packed wine! So fun that it is pet friendly and the staff was no less than delightful. Thank you for a memorable experience!

We stopped in to do a tasting and have a glass of wine outside and enjoy the view. The grounds are gorgeous. We went in and paid for our wine tasting. The person we were with was very nice. She seemed I formed in the wines. If the wine was all a little sweet for my taste but it was well made and I did end up buying one bottle of one that was more tart. We got a couple slushees and glasses of wine snd sat outside. The slushees are great. I highly suggest a stop!

My husband and I decided to make the trip from Madison last weekend for our anniversary, and we had so much fun! Once we arrived we went into the store and bought a bottle of Cloud 9 to share outside. I liked that they gave us actual glasses instead of plastic cups like some wineries. We found a table way down at the end by the vineyard, plenty of distance away from others. It was a very hot day, however, so after taking in the breathtaking view for a bit, we moved under the pergola for some shade. At first it was fine, but more people started to arrive and we realized the tables weren't 6 feet apart, so we started to feel a little nervous about that. After trying a glass of The Girlfriend, I bought a bottle to take home. My husband is more of a red wine drinker, so he purchased a bottle of the Sangiovese. It was a great time and we will be back!

We loved this winery!! Two thumbs all the way UP. I can say I agree with their saying, "Great views, great wines, great times!" Their tasting room is huge. The have three large tasting bars. We came here on a wine tour with a group of 8 in our group alone, so everything was set up for us when we arrived and there was plenty of space for everyone. I'd say there were about 30 of us and there was so much extra space to accommodate even larger groups. Our tasting expert was kind, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations without being pushy. We were so impressed with the wines! It's hard to compare wine tastings in California to Wisconsin but they were up there! They even had little crackers and chocolates to pair with the white/red selections. One of the red wines we took a bite of the chocolate first, sip of the wine, then another bite of the chocolate and it literally tasted like a fresh chocolate covered cherry. WOAH. We ended up buying a bottle of their Pinot Grigo (only $13!) to take out to take outside and enjoy for the remainder of the time we had there. The panoramic view of the Baraboo bluffs was STUNNING. This was the best part of the experience because it was perfect weather out and the fall colors of bluffs were gorgeous. Ladies and gents, if you're looking to get your cute fall pics, this is it- ha! Picnics are also welcome out there and they are even dog friendly!! We can't wait to come back next year with our little furry best friend, pack a picnic, and just enjoy some more time here.

Quaint place in the country! Visited in winter (February) so not a lot of patrons. Dry reds, sweet whites. Just one dry white. All were delicious. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend!

Wonderful views!

What a great spot with fantastic views! I was pleasantly surprised at everything about this place - large tasting room with multiple bars, indoor tables and chairs to enjoy drinks at, a covered outdoor seating area, wonderful helpful staff, and good wines with decent pricing for the tastings. Of the handful of wineries I've been to in Wisconsin, this one is up there as one of my favorites for best tasting wines. They're no California wines (to be expected) but I did decide to come home with a bottle of their Sangiovese after tasting several whites and reds. I would drink any of their whites any day as well!

Baraboo Winery was a great Christmas surprise for my family. We Enjoy the space and have great fun with owner. (Jill I'm rooting for your angel 2 wine o was trying hard to charm your husband on this after hearing the story behind the first one). It was fun times for me to able to have a first at experience with my Spouse, mother, brother, Stepfather and mother in -law. The fog made it feel so warm and loving in the background of the grape vines from the inside. Thank you, Baraboo Winery, for making a great Christmas for my family. Let me know when Angel 2 is out We recommend Great Winery Wanake

We (group of 6) stopped into Baraboo Bluff Winery not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere was clean, new, and inviting. Really good deal on wine tasting; we tasted all 11 wines for $5. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to. We bought a few bottles that matched our preference. The owners were there and were very fun to hang out with! They were authentic and down to earth. This is just the type of Wisconsin family own and run business I like supporting!

Valley View in late fall

It's soooooo beautiful! Yes, you have to hike up a hill like a goat in the Swiss Alps but when you get to the top there is a beautiful view of the valley. Then you go inside and it is spacious with a few tasting bar areas. It's clean and organized. The person hosting was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines, the winery and their club program. We sampled and purchased and then took a bottle and some glasses and sat outside under the umbrella heaters in the barn overlooking the valley. It was wonderful. We then hiked back down the hill. Be careful if you have had too much wine or you might roll down the hill!!!

I loved this winery. I went in February so there was a lot of snow on the ground. I am going back in summer time. The winery is in a perfect location in the middle of the bluffs, it is just beautiful. The wines are delicious, there is a good variety and each has their own distinct taste. This winery is family owned which is another thing I really liked. I did the entire flight of all wines and ended up having 2 glasses of the sangiovese and walked out with a bottle of it as well. Their popular wine is called the girlfriend and it has a fun story behind its name. It tastes like a moscato with a flavor of mango. It was refreshing. They have a cute little gift shop. I bought a hat and some honey. I was on a solo trip and I am so happy I came here. It is very welcoming and comforting. You need to go and support this winery!

We enjoy the wines and spirits, whether on site or at home Chef Romain has done a great job at offering lunches at the Bistro, along with Brunches and Special Events. This week we enjoyed their Wollersheim Bistro Wine Cellar Dinner for the first time. Wow! Held in the hallway at the head of their wine caves, circa 1850s, the setting is so unique with attendance limited. Cocktails / wine before, hors d'oeuvres, four course dinner with paired wine each round. Chef Romain and the knowledgeable servers were attentive, ensuring everyone's enjoyable time. They made for a sensational setting and experience. Their intent is to do this monthly or every two months. We are certainly looking forward to the next event, and will be visiting sooner to replenish our own bar!

It was a beautiful afternoon. The weather was great. This was the perfect activity. Highly recommend you visit if you're in the area and if you live in the area, I highly recommend you come here as often as you can during the spring months, sip some great wine, eat some great food, and just relax and look at the beautiful scenery

What a great visit we had at Fawn Creek Winery. This place has winner written all over it…read more Winning staff (Keith is awesome) to a winning taste testing (we tasted at least 15 wines) to a winning outdoor seating area (covered and not), winning winery dog (Zoey is cute) to winning live music and a food menu that screams winner because it's perfect for families and the setting. Oooo, winner too because they have corn hole, checkers and music for the kids and us kids at hearts. Fawn Creek has a great setting ample outdoor seating amongst the trees and a superb wine list. We were told they are known for their fruit wines (which weren't bad at all). We ended up getting a couple bottles (less than $15 per bottle) and that deal snagged us some new wine glasses. Don't you live souvenirs for adults? Fawn Creek was perfect and it would be great for you too, a couple, adult friends or family, it's a win win for everyone. Sounds like the weekends are very busy, on a Friday evening around 4:30/5 in early June we were the only ones doing a tasting and there was very few people outside. So keep that in mind as it did sound like all weekends are busy. Enjoy Fawn Creek, it was a great time.
