The grilled chicken and beef were tender, well-seasoned, and had a great char from the grill. The spicy sauce added real heat without overwhelming the flavor, while the habanero cilantro hummus was creamy, fresh, and packed with a bright, spicy kick that paired perfectly with the warm pita. The rice was light and fluffy, the salad was crisp and refreshing, and the stuffed grape leaf was a nice addition that rounded out the plate. Portions are generous, making it an excellent value. The restaurant is clean, casual, and welcoming, and the service was friendly. If you're visiting Paisley Park or just passing through Chanhassen, Med Box is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Steak and chicken kabobs were good but maybe needed more seasoning but I dipped it in their garlic sauce and it was really good. Orzo cucumber salad is amazing! Pita bread was nice and soft, delicious with the hummus. I appreciate the fries for some of the picky eaters. Baklava was ok, not the best. Everything was packed up real nice! I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. However, with all of that said it was very delicious - so this place is a treat versus a frequent visit for me. I think they're doing very well, they semi-recently did a big construction overhaul. If you go during traditional lunch hours, expect a line... and maybe nowhere to sit. Outside of that, I visit occasionally when I visit my office - which is nearby. Every visit the food is fresh and I'm not disappointed. Some gyro places you have dry stale meat and it's such a bummer - not here. Be prepared to pay BUT try them out!

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. My only disappointment was the portion of protein for the price. For a $23.99 meal, I expected a lot more chicken. The veggies definitely outnumbered the small pieces of chicken, which made it feel a little unbalanced and not quite worth the cost. If they increased the protein portion, it would easily be a 5-star experience.
