Living 10 miles from here since 2015 and I'm sad I only now discovered it. Being a foodie and business traveler, I have been fortunate to have some amazing meals. Buffalo has its share of bar food but this is now my first choice. I would describe it as more upscale bar food. The jalapeño wontons were fantastic. Spicier than Minnesota typically makes so, thank you for that! A little too much salt in everything but I did order some salty items - French dip. Sandwich was the best French dip in a long long while (just the au jus was way too salty). Plus - it's CLEAN! Not a dive bar like so many seem to be. GREAT seasonal cocktails (former bartender talking). Service was REALLY good! Just so accommodating and patient as we meandered through the menu and tried a little of this and that. Jacque B's always hits the mark - their food is so good & time and time again it's consistently good! Not sure there's a "dud" on the menu?! We are big fans of the Bloody Mary Pizza. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it, but it's not too spicy. And if that deters you, you might be able to ask for a modification to regular sauce. The staff are the kindest people around, so it certainly doesn't hurt to check! The shrimp on the pizza are so fresh - all bloody the flavors pair great together. And, during this restaurant closure their curbside process has been a breeze, making us realize even more how great of a takeout option Jacque B's is, too! read more

I just discovered Jacque B's, and absolutely loved it! I ordered the Asian Chicken Wonton Tacos (GOLDEN FRIED WONTON TACO SHELLS STACKED WITH HOUSE MADE ASIAN SLAW, SPICY ORIENTAL CHICKEN AND DRIZZLED WITH THAI PEANUT SAUCE) as an appetizer, and they were amazing. I also ordered the Gourmet Turkey BLT (SLICED TURKEY BREAST, BACON, FRESH AVOCADO, LETTUCE, TOMATOES, CHIPOTLE AIOLI, PROVOLONE AND SWISS CHEESE, SANDWICHED BETWEEN GRILLED TEXAS TOAST) and this definitely was a good choice. The menu is diverse, and also reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is great for both a night out with friends, as well as a date night. (They also have a cozy outdoor seating area next to fire that would be perfect for date night). I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. read more

Love Jacque B's! We ordered take out on my birthday and everything was wonderful. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad and it was filled with yummy BBQ chicken, black beans, corn, avocado, fresh Pico and it was huge (2 meals). We always order the mashed potato balls. You must try them. They are so delicious and come with homemade alfredo dipping sauce. My husband's go to is the Thai peanut wings. Nice friendly staff! read more

I am neither impressed nor completely dissatisfied with my experiences with Jacque B's as a whole. I love their BBQ Chicken Salad and like the option to make it a wrap. Waffle fries were good but the regular fries were so-so. I have talked to a couple different people when ordering take-out. Some where almost rude and/or uninformed (trying to get one guy to tell me when the kitchen opens and closes each day was like pulling teeth, and even when he told me, he wasn't sure that he was right. Put it on your website!!). Others I have interacted with were pleasant. It's not a place I jump at the chance to go to, but don't mind getting takeout from on occasion. read more

Very friendly staff! Had a great burger! Done just the way I wanted! Other people in party had the special, which were Tacos, and they were very good. They had Nordeast on tap! Tonight I was witness to one of the most bizarre things I've seen. My husband and I were sitting at the bar eating, having a normal conversation when some random person across the bar started yelling at me. He told me to "shut the f**k up" "you're the most annoying person I've ever met". Mind you, we were not talking loud, we were not intoxicated and were having a conversation with each other while eating. Upon hearing this my husband was visibly upset while I tried calming him down; we paid our tab, left half our drinks and food and exited the establishment. All the while the bartender was trying to calm (comfort?) the guy that started everything. Everyone around the bar looked as confused as we were. Definitely will not be going back there to eat, it is obviously full of friends/family of the people that work there and not a place for outsiders! read more

Great food! Chef Brian talked us into trying the ghost pepper chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was awesome! Good ingredients, great flavors, good portions. A good restaurant doesn't give you a mountain of fries. They give you a handful of really good fries, and these guys had their stuff together. Small town gem! read more

We have gone there 2 times now. The first time we were disappointed with the food. I believe we got the pulled pork sandwiches? The second time the food was an improvement. I still wasn't all that satisfied, but everyone else was content. I got the Juicy Lucy. Problem was there was no cheese in it, it must have all dripped out during the grilling. read more

Went to Jacque B's for dinner. From the minute we walked in we were treated like a valued customer. The waitress was great and made recommendations that were right on. It was German night to my husband had the pork schnitzel which was good. I had the California Buffalo Burger and Sweet Potato fries. It was very tasty. We will definitely eat there again. read more

Went on a Tues eve for dinner. Hostess was not pleasant to say in the least. No smile and acted as if seating people was a huge chore. Our waitress on the other hand was super! Very nice and very good. I thought the menu over all stunk! No normal food or appetizers to really choose from. However, we ordered burgers and they were very good. Prices I thought were fair. Atmosphere is really boring!!! They had the garage door open making it really muggy and I kept wondering how many bugs were coming in. The cookies you get with your bill are shaped like "J's". Recently went back to Jacque B's for Sunday brunch. The awesome French toast was not being served. The ribs were OK--meaty but the sauce was too sweet for my taste, and there was a lot of sauce. The egg product was hot and fresh. Nice assortment of sausages; some were charred and some were just heated through. Staff tried to be attentive but there was a large party with many, many children who obviously did not want to be having brunch with adults. read more

I called in an order about 40 minutes before the kitchen closed. Joleen the bartender nailed my rather complex order and was very friendly to chat with while the kitchen organized the food. The food was awesome except the spicy bbq burger wasn't that spicy for me however the ribs and pretzel sticks were great. Big open dining and bar space and a decent looking patio. I also noticed a large room that is available to be reserved for parties and such so that's good to know especially in the city of montrose where that's not an option elsewhere. read more

I like Jacque B's. My wife and I have eaten there several times now. Food is good, price is decent and staff is great. Good place to take the whole family or just your spouse. As a fan of B's on the River, it's sister restaurant, I thought I'd try of Jacque B's. I happened to go on the opening night, so things were a bit crazy to say the least. The place was PACKED, both inside and out. With it being a so busy, we contemplated leaving, but decided to stay since we were there and had been looking forward to trying it out. It did take a while for our food to come out, but since we were not in a hurry and were sitting on their beautiful patio, we didn't care. We ordered the spicy green beans and BBQ wings for an appetizer and they were delicious. The beans were breaded which is not the way I typically have had them, but I really liked them that way. For our meal, I had the club wrap with waffle fries and it was very good. My husband who is a total food snob, had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was one the best ones he'd ever had and our friend who came with us is a vegetarian had the portabella wrap and loved it as well. Again, the service was slow and the kitchen was running behind, but since it was their first night, I won't hold it against them and hope no one else will either as they just need a little time to work out the kinks. I must add that their bloody Mary's are the Bests I have ever had. Our waitress told us the owner makes the mix from scratch. It's worth stopping out there just for one of those! read more

Like the previous reviewer, we were fans of B's on the River and have had nothing but excellent food and service there so we were expecting nothing less here. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was extremely friendly and helpful as we were trying to figure out what to eat. We decided on the ruben eggrolls, hummus and pitas, and the Thai chicken pizza. One word: delicious. We had tried ruben eggrolls on vacation in FL a few months ago at a fancy restaurant and, at the time, we thought they were really good. The eggrolls we had at Jacque B's made those seem like garbage. The hummus was very fresh and had the perfect amount of garlic flavor and the Thai chicken pizza was awesome, the ingredients were unique but all worked well together (keep in mind that I am a HUGE pizza snob) and I loved the thin crust. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back. Keep up the good work! read more
