The draft list is just as impressive as some of Mikkeller's other bars in the city and they have some bottles and cans as well; although be wary of bringing them along if you have more than one connection. The place used to house a shabby old bodega, but this bar has totally renovated the place and it looks so cosy (albeit dark). The tap list (24 taps?) was excellent last time I was there. I got to try the Marshmallow Porter from Tiny Rebels, Mango Hallonfeber from Brewski and the delicious (and spicy) Thai Speedway Stout from Alesmith. The price might be a little bit higher than those places downtown, but since we can walk to this place, instead of going "all-the-way" to the centrum, we're happy with it. We were there in the opening week and the craft beers they had on tap were mostly from Founders. Tame choices, but delicious beers nonetheless, and who was I to complain about breakfast stout delivered on nitro tap? Not me! Yes, you read that right, they have a nitro tap! A must for a beer bar named Stout I suppose. There were lots of people there so it could be quite crowded and noisy (they should put acoustic plates on the ceilings, just saying) and the music could be quite loud, but if you got a table outside on a warm summer day, then everything is perfect. All the rubber ducks from the era of yore were almost gone except those on the toilet doors, you're welcome :) We'll be regulars here, I could feel it!
