First impression: This place is a little too cosy to be a beer place, maybe a cafe would be more suitable, but then we all know that we should never judge a book by its cover.
Taplist is very decent, although not that adventurous, they have the usual names on the list, and some really good beer list. There was Rasputin from De Molen brewery when I was there, a very good stout. Another plus for the bar is probably that they have a stack of board games you could borrow, and that there is a "mini" bottle shop, stocked with some Belgian beers and selections of Amager Bryghus.
Service is top-notch, there's nothing I can't complain.
I feel that the target for this bar is just for people who want to try different beer out, without having to mingle with snobbish beer nerds like in "more serious" places like Mikkeller or Taphouse nearby. It's good "entry-level" bar so to speak and the location in Strædet is also perfect for tourists to sample how "hygge" and "beer" can be combined. read more
