The place used to house a shabby old bodega, but this bar has totally renovated the place and it looks so cosy (albeit dark). The tap list (24 taps?) was excellent last time I was there. I got to try the Marshmallow Porter from Tiny Rebels, Mango Hallonfeber from Brewski and the delicious (and spicy) Thai Speedway Stout from Alesmith. The price might be a little bit higher than those places downtown, but since we can walk to this place, instead of going "all-the-way" to the centrum, we're happy with it. We knew it was a popular bar so we went Friday evening, when it had just opened. As there were not many people, we got space at the bar near a window overlooking the street. Stunning views outside as night fell. I personally love to sit at the bar because you have front row seats to see all the action while they prepare the drinks. The mixologists were friendly, they recommended drinks according to our tastes and preferences, I must say they were pretty accurate. During the week, they keep the front room open and open the back room on weekends when its more than tourists visiting. The cocktail menu is long, but even better are the bartenders. Taking pride in what they do, you can ask them to make a drink that you like. They appreciate the challenge. My friend and I both did bartender's choice and were pleased with our drinks. We also had fun chatting with the two bartenders. They asked us questions about our hometown and gave us many insights into Copenhagen life and Danish culture.
