I hosted my 30th bday in the back and it was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, high quality and a good variety. Drinks superb. And all around a great spot! read more

This was a wonderful weekend find! We love the Astoria food scene and coming here on a Saturday night was a total delight. 5/5 on food, drinks, ambience, and service! We ordered tapas style and got the roasted corn, maduros, empanadas, shishito peppers, pork, and chips & guac (roughly in order of how much I liked them)! Each of us agreed every dish was delicious, even if our tier lists were different. but you've gotta come and you've gotta order the roasted corn. For cocktails we had the My Novia (bright pink! coconut!) and the pineapple old fashioned (smoky, refined). Both were delicious, though the old fashioned paired better with the food. The ambience was comfortable (cute, covid comfortable back patio) and the service was excellent and attentive. We'll be back!! read more

This review is for throwing an event. 2 weeks ago I invited my friends to Bar Dalia's. I worked with the manager 2 months in advance to reserve the space as well as figure out the menu. When I got there day of, I was blown away at how great the space looked, how WARM it was (it was freezing outside!), and appreciated the birthday decor they put up! I told them the party was 90s themed and so they played 90s music. We had our own dedicated server (PJ) who was extremely attentive and the manager frequently checked in with us to make sure we were ok. The food I pre-ordered came out in a timely manner and every food and drink was delicious! My guests and I had a great time and I'll definitely be back! read more

I had such a lovely birthday celebration at Bar Dalia! They were easily able to accommodate my group of about 20 for a back patio reservation, where we had a nice amount of privacy to hang out. Setting up the reservation with Bryan was seamless, and our servers Rachel and BJ were really great. The food and drinks were all a hit with guests, and we were also allowed to bring a cake! Crowd favorites included: crab cakes, veggie empanadas, roasted corn, strawberry and raspberry frozen margaritas, house shots, and my personal favorite is the elderflower spritz. It was pretty hot out, but we were able to make do with the fans they had running on the patio, and the inside of the bar has good AC. The staff had also been informed that I would be getting engaged that day, and it was really sweet how excited everyone was about it. I would definitely recommend hosting an event here or just stopping by for food and/or drinks. Thank you all so much for making my day so special! read more

Drinks are good and food was tasty but the portions were a bit small so be ready to get a few different options. Was disappointed there was no guac on a Friday night though. Got the shrimp tacos, veggie tacos, and truffle potatoes instead and everything was delicious. read more

Always a disaster. Bartenders are aloof, extremely slow, just terrible, can someone effectively train these people? As a manager myself I cannot fathom how this level of inexperience and neglect towards your customers can be acceptable, read more

Food and ambiance is pretty good here. Would recommend here mainly for the drinks. As for the food, I thought it was good but portions are small because they're tapas and not really sure if it's worth the price value. A little disappointed that they didn't have the steak fajitas cause it looked bomb from the pics, but the chicken fajita was cooked nicely and it was very juicy. Spanish chorizo was alright with shoe string type fries. The guacamole was good too, but wish they gave a little more chips. read more

Loved this spot. Ricky the bartender could not have been more accommodating. Good apples. Great drinks. Nice atmosphere

Really lovely quaint establishment. Owners are super friendly and clearly care for all the patrons visiting. Really nice cozy atmosphere here. Good for a date or just hanging out. Will definitely return!!! read more

My girlfriend and i went here a couple fridays ago for some after work drinks to ease us into the weekend. The sriracha honey chicken and tacos were great. Can't complain about the drinks either. Only thing for me was i couldnt see my food that well as we set in the back in the outside and it was quite dim. read more

I love this bar so much. My go-to order are an espresso martini and the crab cakes. If I ever deviate from this I will most likely try the fried artichokes and yucca fries as they both look amazing. They always have great music on, and the bartenders are top notch. The cocktail list is also fantastic, and while they are known for rum-based drinks, they have an impressive selection of whiskey as well. I know it is small and cozy, but that is great for someone like me who tends to bring a book to places and drink solo who does likes little hidden enclaves where I can escape without drawing too much attention to myself. Thank you, Bar Dalia, for filling that gap in the Astoria bar scene. read more

I like the cocktails. Inventive and tasty. However, they do not have real/paper menus, you have to use a QR code on your phone, which I hate. Nothing like taking your date out for cute cocktails and then having to stare at your individual phones for the first five minutes. I will not be back. read more

Came here for dinner a few weeks ago and it's definitely a solid option. The draw for me was a cute backyard space and quesabirria tacos. The tacos were delish. We also got the beef empanada, garlic shrimp and chicken fajitas, as well as a michelada. The garlic shrimp was lacking a bit in flavor but everything else was pretty good. Portions were a bit small but I guess to be expected considering it's branded as a tapas place. The service was also very friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. I'd come back to try other items for sure. read more

Tom and his team pay great attention to detail, from food and drink to service and decor. Delicious cocktails and tasty menu options await. I've been to two parties here in the last two months and everyone enjoyed the hospitality. A friendly, comfortable, sophisticated vibe. Always a nice crowd. read more

Bar Dalia is consistently wonderful. Great food and drinks, good service, and a super cozy hang.

I went in to grab a beverage and just check this place out. There was a mild local vibe as clearly the bartender, Megan, and someone else who I assume was the owner were chatting up a few people. Drink was healthy pour and I friend an empanada as the reviews weren't bad and for $5 how could it go wrong? It didn't disappoint and I will absolutely come back. The bar was stacked and seems like a good place to hang out. Only 4 stars because I didn't eat too much and I don't want to overrate unless I sample more. read more

Great place in Astoria, everything I did try was delicious, from drinks, chicharrón, chicken sliders and spanish chorizo. Great atmosphere in general. I can't wait to try it again. Highly recommended. read more

Came to celebrate New Year's Eve and it was a really good time we had here. Food was delicious, good music, and nice drinks!

Stopped in for a couple drinks and a bite. I had a couple mezcals. I had the el silencio and the la vida. They've got a nice assortment of mezcals. They have a pretty nice variety of spirits in general. I liked their outdoor seating which included a few tables in the front plus a large courtyard in the rear. For food, I had the vegetarian tacos. The mushrooms stood out most in the tacos. The service was very attentive. read more

Tasty small plates to treat your desire for Spanish flavors. They have some great drinks. Great place to have a date or hang out.

I threw a surprise birthday party here and it was awesome. Every detail from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere was spot on. I'm so appreciative of Megan, Ricky, Bryan, and Tom for everything they did to make the party a huge success. I cannot recommend Bar Dalia enough. read more

Ever since I heard that Mosaic was going to get a sister bar I knew I had to check it out. Bar Dalia has a nice set up in the front and in the bar yard with socially distant tables and chairs. The menu is posted on all the tables or near the tables, a quick scan and you are in. The service was fast, friendly and amazing. We ordered Old Fashioned's which were perfection. Then we got some Camarones Al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) which was a decent portion which also came with some amazing grilled bread to soak up all the deliciousness. Also ordered the Chicharron which was mouth watering. After those drinks and food I switched it up and got a Pisco Punch and this was simply a work of art!! We ended up ordering the empanada just to end the night and let me tell you I was happy I did. Music was great enough to enjoy a good vibe but not overly loud that you can't hold a conversation. Will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu. Great job!!! read more

Came here on a nice Sunday to enjoy a laid back and chill day. I sat in the back yard which was a nice venue with natural sunlight and music. One of the best weekend venues to go to in Astoria. They have tasteful drinks that have a wide range of different tasting drinks that are strong but have great flavor. The food is amazing. This is not a regular bar with regular bar food. Their menu is delicious and the flavor is where it shines. Everything tastes better than expected. read more

Phenomenal food and drinks!!! My husband and I can't wait to go back to Bar Dalia. Our favorite dishes were the gambas al ajillo, roasted corn, and the churros. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I absolutely loved my cocktail as well: Charo's Kick. It tasted very light, refreshing, and utterly delicious. Our server and the co-owner, Billy, were amazing! Even when Bar Dalia got busy, we appreciated how they never made us feel rushed. Rather, they remained welcoming, helpful, and positive, which only added to our wonderful experience. I highly recommend Bar Dalia! read more

I've visited Bar Dalia a few times and have been really impressed with the cocktails, the outdoor seating and service. During one of my visits, they mentioned that more food items would be added soon, which is great. I have tried the couscous salad, tostones and guacamole. The tostones are amazing. The cocktails are out of this world - the margaritas are among the best I've had and the guava caipirinha is just perfect. Looking forward to visiting again. The distancing and COVID-19 safety seems really good too. read more

My BF and I found this place by accident. We were walking by and it looked closed but we saw people sitting outside so we waited a few min. We saw a waiter that said they opened at 3:00. It only a few minutes so we decided to wait. Everything was perfect!! For drinks we had a Pisco Sour and Raspberry Margarita. For food we ordered coconut shrimp, chicharrón, roasted corn, beef empanada, and arroz con pollo. Again, everything was delicious and made to perfection. Can't wait to go back! read more

We went to Bar Dalia on a weeknight last week and had a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I take social distancing very seriously and I have to say the setup at Dalia is really good. The servers let me peek at the backyard situation before committing which was really nice, they totally empathized with our hesitation. The service the whole time we were there was just wonderful. Onto the main part, the drinks! Delicious. I had been craving mezcal for a bit in quarantine and the Charo's Kick cocktail really hit the spot. We had the guacamole as our food option and it was so fresh and delicious. Bar Dalia was the perfect place to dip back into dining out and I can't wait to come back and try more! read more

I liked the vibe at Bar Dalia. The drinks were great, but the food options were less than desirable. Not saying the food wasn't great, but there weren't really any sharing options besides Chips and Guac. The vibe is great first first/second dates for cocktails and a snack, but the snacks are kind of non existent. It wont stop me from taking dates their though and hoping they like chips and Guac! lol read more

Bar Dalia is an awesome new neighborhood staple! I've been here twice in September & enjoyed the large, airy backyard with lots of spaced out seating and tables. The cocktails are delicious, food is fresh & tasty (chicarones!!) With the price for the quality and atmosphere! Stopped by on a Friday night with 6 people & snagged the last table luckily! Just stopped by after my birthday brunch this past Sunday & they were sweet enough to open the backyard early for my larger party and even accommodate my pug Wiley! Awesome service, which really made my day special. read more

I came here for a friends birthday, and the atmosphere was immaculate. Such a cute bar, and very aesthetically pleasing. The drinks were absolutely to die for, and there were a plethora of options to choose from. The food was very tasty as well. Would recommend. read more

Ambiance beautiful!! Great local bar. Food never got to it because they had a staff of 2. The bartender and a waiter. Such a shame the place has potential but when you run a establishment for a packed room but don't have the staff it's poor management!! Especially while the owner is making nice with patrons instead of rolling up his sleeves and helping out. read more
