I love this bar so much. My go-to order are an espresso martini and the crab cakes. If I ever deviate from this I will most likely try the fried artichokes and yucca fries as they both look amazing. They always have great music on, and the bartenders are top notch. The cocktail list is also fantastic, and while they are known for rum-based drinks, they have an impressive selection of whiskey as well. I know it is small and cozy, but that is great for someone like me who tends to bring a book to places and drink solo who does likes little hidden enclaves where I can escape without drawing too much attention to myself. This was a wonderful weekend find! We love the Astoria food scene and coming here on a Saturday night was a total delight. 5/5 on food, drinks, ambience, and service! We ordered tapas style and got the roasted corn, maduros, empanadas, shishito peppers, pork, and chips & guac (roughly in order of how much I liked them)! Each of us agreed every dish was delicious, even if our tier lists were different. but you've gotta come and you've gotta order the roasted corn. For cocktails we had the My Novia (bright pink! coconut!) and the pineapple old fashioned (smoky, refined). Both were delicious, though the old fashioned paired better with the food. The ambience was comfortable (cute, covid comfortable back patio) and the service was excellent and attentive. We'll be back!! read more

As for the food, I thought it was good but portions are small because they're tapas and not really sure if it's worth the price value. A little disappointed that they didn't have the steak fajitas cause it looked bomb from the pics, but the chicken fajita was cooked nicely and it was very juicy. I went in to grab a beverage and just check this place out. There was a mild local vibe as clearly the bartender, Megan, and someone else who I assume was the owner were chatting up a few people. Drink was healthy pour and I friend an empanada as the reviews weren't bad and for $5 how could it go wrong? It didn't disappoint and I will absolutely come back. Came here for dinner a few weeks ago and it's definitely a solid option. The draw for me was a cute backyard space and quesabirria tacos. The tacos were delish. We also got the beef empanada, garlic shrimp and chicken fajitas, as well as a michelada. The garlic shrimp was lacking a bit in flavor but everything else was pretty good. Portions were a bit small but I guess to be expected considering it's branded as a tapas place. The service was also very friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. Came here on a nice Sunday to enjoy a laid back and chill day. I sat in the back yard which was a nice venue with natural sunlight and music. One of the best weekend venues to go to in Astoria. Ever since I heard that Mosaic was going to get a sister bar I knew I had to check it out. Bar Dalia has a nice set up in the front and in the bar yard with socially distant tables and chairs. The menu is posted on all the tables or near the tables, a quick scan and you are in. The service was fast, friendly and amazing. We ordered Old Fashioned's which were perfection. Then we got some Camarones Al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) which was a decent portion which also came with some amazing grilled bread to soak up all the deliciousness. Also ordered the Chicharron which was mouth watering. After those drinks and food I switched it up and got a Pisco Punch and this was simply a work of art!! We ended up ordering the empanada just to end the night and let me tell you I was happy I did. Music was great enough to enjoy a good vibe but not overly loud that you can't hold a conversation. Phenomenal food and drinks!!! My husband and I can't wait to go back to Bar Dalia. Our favorite dishes were the gambas al ajillo, roasted corn, and the churros. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I absolutely loved my cocktail as well: Charo's Kick. It tasted very light, refreshing,and utterly delicious. I've visited Bar Dalia a few times and have been really impressed with the cocktails, the outdoor seating and service. During one of my visits, they mentioned that more food items would be added soon, which is great. I have tried the couscous salad, tostones and guacamole. The tostones are amazing. The cocktails are out of this world - the margaritas are among the best I've had and the guava caipirinha is just perfect. Looking forward to visiting again. We went to Bar Dalia on a weeknight last week and had a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I take social distancing very seriously and I have to say the setup at Dalia is really good. The servers let me peek at the backyard situation before committing which was really nice, they totally empathized with our hesitation. The service the whole time we were there was just wonderful. Not saying the food wasn't great, but there weren't really any sharing options besides Chips and Guac. The vibe is great first first/second dates for cocktails and a snack, but the snacks are kind of non existent. Bar Dalia is an awesome new neighborhood staple! I've been here twice in September & enjoyed the large, airy backyard with lots of spaced out seating and tables. The cocktails are delicious, food is fresh & tasty (chicarones!!) With the price for the quality and atmosphere! Stopped by on a Friday night with 6 people & snagged the last table luckily! Just stopped by after my birthday brunch this past Sunday & they were sweet enough to open the backyard early for my larger party and even accommodate my pug Wiley! Giving this place a 3 star because of the service. I went here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. We sat at the bar. We did not felt welcome the bar tender was rude and we felt as if he was discriminating. I was a waitress for 8 years so I know exactly how it works once you saw a minority I guess the assumption we would not tip or whatever the case is. We literally had to begged to be served a second drink, we kept ordering food had to begged to get a napkin at one point I had to share a napkin with my boyfriend. The food was really good, drinks were good. But the workers are racist so if you care about service do not go here if you are a minority. The crazy part is everyone else at the bar was sipping one drink the entire time. We were the one spending money and we're treated like loafers.
