The man had to ask me multiple times what my order was because he kept looking to the side and paying attention to other situations. When I paid, I tipped even though I shouldn't have, and thanked him, he didn't even look at me. I thanked him again and he looked up and walked away without acknowledging me. They were not friendly, they were not happy to be there and the customer service was really lacking. It was a disappointment because we really were excited to try this brewery and the beer was good!

What made this worse was the lack of customer service afterward. The manager did not come back out to apologize, did not offer any kind of discount or compensation, and did not acknowledge the inconvenience at all. Mistakes happen -- forgetting an order is one thing -- but how you handle it matters. In this case, there was no effort made to make things right. For a paying customer who placed a pickup order in advance, this level of service was unacceptable. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes; it's about how you handle them. Unfortunately, in this case, Heroes showed very little regard for a paying customer's time. I hope management sees this and takes a hard look at how customers are treated when things go wrong.

I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that.
