The Austin English Tea Company brings all of the aesthetics, ambiance, and flavors you'd expect in a proper British tea room. Spent a lovely Sunday Funday morning with friends celebrating Galentine's Day (albeit a day later) with fresh and yummy tea sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, mini, quiche, cream puffs, macarons, Prosecco, and more. We had four pots of tea: Classic English Breakfast, Earl Gray, Peach White, and Coconut Oolong. It goes without saying that the English Brekkie and Earl Gray were perfectly brewed and delicious. The Peach White and Coconut Oolong were also perfectly brewed. The Peach White was fragrant and flavorful. Same for the Coconut Oolong though it was more fragrant with a less robust flavor. Still delicious. The tea sandwiches were served on perfectly fresh and soft white bread. Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are always my favorite, without question. The Strawberry Devonshire Scone was to die for! I really enjoyed the heart-shaped Rosemary biscuit that had a hint of parmesean flavor as well. The apricot Stilton cheese was flavorful and exactly how you want a Stilton to taste. Service was outstanding. The decor was brilliant, absolute perfection. The entire experience was reminiscent of tea rooms I've visited in England and Ireland. Looking forward to another visit soon! Note: the tea room is located inside Michelle's Patisserie in a shopping plaza---once you enter the tea room you're totally transported to another time and place of elegance, tea, & sweets.

That's an A+ because it's a great place to live close to. It's a cozy space with seating to relax and enjoy a nice cuppa. You can buy anything from tea (they have an incredible selection) to teapots, teaware, tea gifts and so on. Tea flavors available that are hard to find elsewhere and really just somewhat special. The Lady Lavender white tea is my go-to. The White Blueberry is my second favorite. I run out of them both quite quickly at home. But that's ok because it's an excuse to come back and try other offerings while stocking up and stopping to enjoy that said cuppa before heading home.

The space isn't huge so I could see it being pretty hectic and not relaxing when they're busier on weekends. We found the service to be super friendly and helpful! Overall had a great experience, I'm not the biggest tea person and don't have a discerning palette for tea, but I love trying wide variety of new things so going for a flight of different teas certainly caught my attention. I liked that the flavors were pretty bold and easy to interpret. Given the quantity of tea the prices feel very reasonable. If you're even mildly open to tea I'd definitely recommend giving them a try, but I'd err on the side of going when they're less busy

Teapioca is a chain so when I spotted one in this shopping center late last night I went in to check it out. The customer service was unbelievably awful. I walked up to the cash register where the only menu was and looked through briefly to make sure nothing changed since my last visit. After only being there a few seconds the cashier rudely said "are you going to order ma'am?". Since when is that ever in a script to say to customers? I was so taken aback I wanted to leave but I quickly ordered and still tipped well, after which her attitude suddenly became friendlier. I went back to look at the menu again and she asked "would you like to order anything else?" I said "no, I want to finish looking at the menu since I was rushed". The drink wasn't even good. Lychee jelly tasted sour and bad. It is highly unlikely I will give this establishment any more of my business and I recommend that others go elsewhere.

I had a seasonal chai tea and added ice cream and it was fantastic. My wife loves the mango smoothie. You almost can't go wrong with whatever you order and if you're a first timer or are not sure, the staff will be glad to make a recommendation. The inside has plenty of seating for individuals or small groups. It is comfortable and not too noisy. For my money, Teapioca Lounge in Round Rock is the best tea/boba place around!

We ordered a tea flight for 3 people and it was a decent amount of tea to start with and then decide if you want a pot of one specific one. The teas I got were okay - they felt as if they hadn't been steeped long enough or maybe just weren't very strong to begin with. I'll also say that the menu is a bit difficult to navigate in terms of pricing - it seems like almost all of the teas are "premium" and require you to pay an additional fee to add them on which does drive up the price. I suppose the menu is meant to be accessible to people who don't drink tea as often, but I wish there was more detail on the specific teas rather than just a flavor profile. The one thing I definitely recommend is the scones! They were genuinely the best scones I've had in a while - very melt in your mouth, buttery and not overly sweet. The owner is really friendly. You can also pick your own tea cup which is a cute concept!

And seems like they're upgrading as time goes on. More teacup selections, they added some limited addition holiday flavors, they've got classes going on, and they even added coffee to their menu (although definitely not the main focal point of the store, just there as an option if you want it!) Owners are the nicest people ever and take such good care of you. If you visit often, they'll even remember you and hold conversations with you as well :) it's a lovely experience all around. Go support them! They're my favorite small business & they are slowly gaining traction, but as we all know, especially in this economy, small businesses need all the love they can get! Even as much as I'd love to gate keep this place all to myself because of how much I love it, that's just me being selfish haha. Go try them and spread the word :)
