Man, WHAT A SANDWICH! I got the chicken cutlet sandwich with prosciutto (Uncle Primo's Chicken…read moreCutlet), and it absolutely did not disappoint. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time!!! The chicken cutlet was delicious, the prosciutto added a great salty flavor, and the whole thing just worked. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich. The only downside was the wait. We stood in line for about 45 minutes in the heat, and since it's a pretty small spot with no real waiting area, it can be a rough experience during the summer. There also wasn't any shade or any umbrellas, so standing outside for that long was definitely brutal (highly recommend they add a couple umbrellas or covering to help). That said... what a sandwich. The food was good enough that I'd happily come back and wait again. I'd just recommend going on a cooler day or being prepared to stand outside for a while.

I got half an uncle primos chicken cutlet sandwich ($11). It was a lot of food and was loaded with chicken! Even just the half sandwich was too much for me to eat at once. While it was tasty, I did feel like it was missing something, and personally didn't find it to be worth the wait. But if the line were shorter in the future I'd come back and try other yummies from the menu.

The sandwiches were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and the bread was soft with just the right texture. The Clifford's Cutlet was crispy and delicious, while the McSteak was rich, cheesy, and seriously satisfying. And those chocolate chunk sea salt cookies? Absolutely phenomenal. Soft, gooey, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Everything arrived fresh, and I was already thinking about what I want to order next before I finished eating. If you're debating whether to try EASTCUT, do it. This was easily a 10/10 meal, and I'll definitely be ordering again.

Yelp told me this delicious sandwich shop was just 5 minutes away, which seemed like the perfect option. It was a hot summer day and I couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside in the heat. We got the last table in the air conditioned inside, which made me happy. We placed our orders at the counter: - The Jane for me - Pine Street Pimento for my daughter and a bag of chips (salt & vinegar for me) for both! We did the smaller size sandwiches which were still quite large, but we were quite hungry and finished them off. They were so good that I even thought about coming back for lunch the next day, but knew there were plenty of delicious restaurants in the area to try. However, i'll come again when back in the area!

They were doing everything right, even down to the Dr Brown's, and they had ZERO flavors too. There is a meat and cheese counter,r but most of the length of the shop is pastries, cakes, pies, es and other beautiful-looking treats. We ordered our sandwiches; I had an Italian sub, and it was just ok, kind of dry and lacking in flavor; frankly, Jersey Mike's makes a better Italian. But my wife got theReubenn, and it was simply the best Reuben we've had outside of Katz in NYC. I order Rueben's all the time, and I'm consistently disappointed. Most are dried out, have too little meat, and the corned beef is often dry, but not in this case. The sandwich was truly worthy, and we are ready to go back and have it again. Moist, flavorful meat, a generous portion, and the dressing andkraut weres well balanced. The bread was grilled, not toasted, and was itself rich and flavorful. Altogether, it is a Reuben worth driving a distance to have it. We are already planning to come back and try some of the baked goods, but also get the Reuben again too.

This time I ordered ahead and made my own. Yum. Loved skipping the line and just picking it up. Marble rye toasted, mustard, smoked cheddar, spinach, red onions and turkey. The sandwich was huge. I also asked for a pickle and got two over wrapped spears. While I didn't love all the plastic, they were great. Nice surprise. I had the second half for breakfast the next day.

As you enter there is a sign that tells you to go look at the menu board, pick out your drink, and go back to the counter to order. I grabbed a diet coke, and ordered a Common Cobb. I was a bit surprise when my total came to $18, as my salad was only $14 but I guess I should have paid attention that my bottle of soda was over $3. How much are the fountain drinks, I wonder? I found us a table inside since it was a bit hot that day (there is also plenty of seating outside AND inside if you go downstairs). The table and floor were messy but someone quickly came to clean it for me. They called our names over the loudspeaker and my best friend went to go get our food. She got the MotherClucker. Our food was REALLY good. If you like Cobb salad, you will definitely like this one. The chicken was pan seared perfectly, the vinaigrette was perfectly tangy and the bleu cheese was especially excellent. My friend's chicken sandwich has SO MUCH chicken salad on it. Impressive. There was so many neat items to see in the place. The murals were great, there were some cute retail spaces, a coffee bar up front, a bar downstairs, and ice cream outside! Unfortunately my bestie and I had too much to talk about so we didn't check it out as much as I otherwise wood. I would definitely try this place again!

They make cookies, pastries, breads (pan loaf and hand-formed ones), soups, hand pies, and sandwiches. The variety is amazing. During the holiday season, they offer larger pies and have various seasonal goods to offer. But what's also wonderful is this bakery gives back to the community in many ways. During the height of the pandemic, they offered free bagged lunch to anyone who needed one. They also were (are?) part of the pilot project for Durham's guaranteed income. It looks to me that the owners/company are concerned about being good citizens of the community and that's a great thing. These days, so many companies get bought out by private equity companies. I hope this bakery continues to be locally owned and operated! (Also, generally this bakery isn't offering the very fancy European/European-ish style pastries which is fine by me. The prices are very reasonable, possibly in part because they aren't trying to make their baked goods a "high end" item. There are other good local bakeries that offer "high end" pastries, but they are also much less affordable and for my taste, too rich.)

There was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and informed that we could choose where we sat and just to scan the table QR code when we were ready to order. We chose a high top and a server brought us water. The vibrant colors and decor gave off excellent vibes. I ordered the Karaage Bowl (on greens instead of rice AND all the sauces on the side) and a side order of seaweed salad. A server brought them to our table. It was not necessary for us to get up once we were seated. Everything was SO GOOD. Like, "I'm mad at myself for not coming here before" good. All of the sauces were amazing too. I ordered them on the side since I wasn't sure how I would like them all, but I think I'll leave them on next time. The "greens" were a mix of lettuce and cabbage. The side of seaweed salad for $2.50 seemed a little small when they brought it out but it was packed in there and was plenty. The server came around a couple of times to check on us and top off our water. We bussed our own trash. There was only one unisex bathroom that I saw. There seemed like a lot of takeout orders going out (it was a little separate from the dining area which was nice). There was also a lovely outdoor area that would be nice if it wasn't 100 degrees. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!
