A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. They put you through another set of exercises on each visit, none of which helped with my pain. I guess if I had them for another month (at my insurance's expense) something might have helped but I doubt it. I feel all they care about is seeing how many people for how long they can collect money from. As far as I'm concerned all they care about is getting your $$$$$.

Starting at the physical with Al, Ive never had more in depth care of the overall issues of my body and how to get properly aligned. These guys are fantastic. I had 6 weeks of targeted, and customized PT to get me back on the roller derby track. My recovery was about more than just mobility, but also about getting back to competition level. In comes my man Steve! Steve specifically took my training from the normal exercises and made them skating/derby specific. Taking into account the sport and my goals made me feel like they really cared about the outcome and the level I was going back at. I can't thank him enough for the efforts that he gave. Rigo and Harry are the amazing men behind the massage. Ahhhhh massage! The most painful part, but oh so necessary.
