She was very friendly but very loud. She started yelling my medical history when going over everything and my normal hygienist (who had another patient) never did. I let it go, but then she started cleaning my teeth and OMG she was soooo rough. Again, I was like okay I can get through this but then it got worse. I told her it hurt and she just said it was almost done. I wanted to cry it hurt so bad and when I checked out I told the front ladies about what happened. They just laughed it off and said she was a temp. I'm sorry what?? I said why did I have a temp when my normal hygienist was there and I booked 6 months ago? They said I didn't have anything on my file requesting to "not have a temp". Well, I didn't know that was a thing! So, just make sure you request not to have a temp because they are not there everyday and I was humiliated by the one that helped me.

I recently had my first visit at Paragon Dentistry, specifically with Dr. Jason Hui, for a routine cleaning, and I'm very happy that I went to them. The hygienist, whose name I believe was Kathleen, was outstanding, and I made a point to make sure she'd be the one cleaning my teeth when I go back in six months. I didn't spend as much time with Dr. Hui because there was no need to, but he did a great job of explaining the examination and X-ray results and what I can expect on future visits. I'm very glad to have found this practice, definitely plan to go back, and certainly recommend them to others.

The cleanings are really good and they are timely, super nice and gentle! Yesterday I had to go get a crown from Dr. Carrell (which I absolutely hate the numbing of the gums), but he was so gentle, it was as painless as possible. This is my second crown (first with Dr. Carrell) and my first experience at another dentist was horrible. I really hesitated to get a crown again after that other dentist experience and I waited as long as I could but my tooth was breaking apart so I had to do it. I am so glad that I went to Dr. Carrell for this, not only does he make the crown right there on the spot, but they have the most leading technology. No mold people - BIG PLUS - they actually use an advanced technology where they take pictures of the replacement tooth and the one it connects with. Then they use some sort of software to make the crown. The crown feels wonderful, I can't even tell that I had a crown put in - everything connects and fits perfectly.
