Been going to Arte for some time now, even before they expanded. Dr Nguyen is attentive, patient, and most importantly- hears you. When he is attending to you, you don't get the feeing that he is running through a process to get to the next appointment block and rinse/repeat. The staff and doctor makes you feel like you were the appointment they were waiting for all day. There's been times where it was routine preventative In/Out and there's been times when the procedure was more involved and invasive-- each and every time , I leave the place feeling like they took the time and cared, and I wasn't just 'another appointment block'. If you read any reviews read this one! Long time patient now. A while back, after having a baby in 2019 and the craziness of 2020, not being super happy with my previous dental team, and adding in some super fun (insert sarcasm here) anxiety issues, I had really let my dental appointments and dental health slide. You can't be 100 percent on your dental health without regular checkups and cleaning, right? So, when I walked into Arte Dental... after, first, doing my own thorough research for a new place... I was super anxious and a little bit embarrassed. They did not judge, and that gave my anxiety-self some instant relieve. I already expected/knew I was going to need some work done, after so much time passing, AND HAVING A TOOTH PREVIOUSLY PULLED, I wanted and needed an implant. I was not wrong. I also expected the work would not be free, not wrong there either . What I did not expect was to find my FOREVER dental team. Dr. Nguyen is ridiculous! His heart is big and his passion for what he does is extraordinary. The rest of the team, same!!!! My hygienist, Cat/Kat, sorry not which way to spell it, also, is so kind and and passionate about what she does and I never leave without her teaching me something new and helpful! Cat/Kat, you are the bomb! The front of the office is always welcoming and go over and beyond my needs. They are always responsive and on top of everything. I always recommend Arte Dental, 100 percent, to anyone that ask for recommendations. As for myself, I have been going here for closer to two years then one now, and my husband and three year old have also been going for a year or more. I cannot think of her name right now, but they also have a "child whisperer!" She was able to get my, then two year old at his first appointment ever, to pose and BE STILL for x-rays. Who does that!? Our family forever Dental Team does all that and more! I'd love to end there....but was it expensive, because it's always a hot topic? I'm going to say "not really." I always expect medical "anything" to cost money. At the time of my first visit, this office was not covered in our insurance network, and there prices for EVERYTHING were just slightly higher then the offices in our insurance network. After all my personal research, I chose to go there knowing I would be paying full price and slightly higher then in our in network options. Please note when I say prices were slightly higher, I'm not talking just about your usual cleaning...I'm talking more about my personal quote for an implant, and comparing to "with insurance". The implant I received from Arte Dental, no emoji for a chef's kiss, but it was perfect and every part of that adventure, that nobody really wants to have, was great. So with, or without the insurance, the prices have been very reasonable for our family and have not really differentiated in cost then anywhere else. If you READ any reviews when choosing your dental practice PLEASE READ THIS ONE. Avoid this dental practice. Period. If you are a new patient - please don't make the same mistake I did and waited for 1hr and still didn't get to see Dr William Nguyen. Dr William Nguyen and his staff will not care about you. They handle you like a rounding error. Case in-point the front desk Patient Coordinator. The office looks nice and that's it. I had scheduled a new patient routine exam on 6/17/21 at 1pm. Checked in at 12:50pm. Provided all dental insurance info and was taken back for cleaning at 1:20pm. After 5 mins of x-ray photos and scan...I waited...and waited...and waited...and waited. Luckily they had turned on Beauty and the Beast on the TV....Ughhh. The strategy is to continue to make you wait...and wait. I gave Dr William Nguyen some slacks, since I sincerely like to get my teeth clean...but patience can only go so far. At 2pm I got up and and gave up. I exited the room and asked when I can see Dr William Nguyen. The front desk coordinator notified me that she had moved 3 patients ahead of me because they are existing patients. She also notified me that Dr William Nguyen is too busy. Nice work. She was well aware to the fact that I had an appointment and confirmed prior to coming. Nice work taking care of the customer. Dr William Nguyen failed today. Period. It is glaringly evident that his practice treats new patients and potentially existing patients with bias. I'm sure short-term he is making money, but I highly doubt his practice can thrive financially or grow in 2-4yrs from now. It's a shame that Dr William Nguyen's practice is the emperor with no clothes. Period read more

Talked to Arte Dental about doing an implant because I received a flyer in the mail stating that it could be done for $1,700. I scheduled the appointments and talked to Jacob and was told the implant would be under $1,600 so I agreed to have it done and now I am going through the procedure. Three months later I come in to make an impression for my implant and I am told I need to pay another $1,300+ and I feel as if this is a complete bait and switch and deceptive advertising practice and would not recommend them to anyone and will be contacting the attorney general and dental board regarding this scam. read more

So ten months later. I have had no bad experience at Arte since my last review. Dr. Nguyen and his staff are still wonderful. Their first concern is making sure their patients are comfortable and feel no pain, after shots of course, but they get you as numb as possible with topical and offer goofy gas to help wih those. I had a mucocele removed recently. A trauma cyst caused from biting the inside of your lip or cheek in the same place many times, usually while eating. They did such a great job and I don't have to worry about biting down on that raised scar tissue any more. I never wait more than a few minutes and everyone is so relaxed and nice and focused on my comfort I find myself laughing at the dentist, the dentist! Highly recommend Arte! read more

Dr. Nguyen takes the time to really explain every detail and makes you feel super comfortable with every step of the process! The front desk is super knowledgeable and helpful and the assistants are top notch. They even brought in their in house lab tech to custom stain my crown. A trusted friend recommended Arte Dental. Dr Nguyen and his incredible staff of employees set a bar so high for excellence that I was able to set aside my fears and anxiety and know that my care would be perfect. This is not a "one size fits all" approach. Dr. Nguyen recognized my fears and low pain tolerance and established a treatment plan that worked for me. My mouth was a mess and I had paid a price for dental neglect and avoidance. I was resolved that I had inherited my propensity for bad teeth and I would never have a healthy mouth much less a winning smile. Im telling you this is the best dentist office I have ever been too. From the staff, to the amazing Dr. Nguyen. I had some pretty bad teeth that needed major work done. Dr. Nguyen must be a magician because now my teeth look amazing. I can now smile and not be afraid. After all that work done, I had little to NO pain afterwards. He is very gentle, kind, and they have the technology to do the work with precision!! They do it all there in Plano: Cavities, Crowns, Bridges, and yes implants done with precision. My first experience was for a standard cleaning. All went well. I was informed I needed a new crown so I agreed to it. When I returned for the permanent crown all went terrible. The fitting procedure was being worked by a very young unaccompanied assistant. The process took over 30 minutes which included several tries to seat the crown. At one point the assistant dropped the crown in my mouth which I almost swallowed. I had to request that the dentist be present to complete the procedure. Once the dentist intervened the seating took all of 10 minutes. I was upset with the way things developed, but I agreed to return and continue with this office. Their dishonesty and unprofessionalism continued with the way they handled the insurance. I had two insurances. First, the help advised me they never heard or two insurances on one account. Mind you the insurance director boasted of 30 years experience. I was to pay in full. When and if insurance paid they would forward me the check. The primary insurance paid and the second insurance followed. However, the office did not forward or even inform me they had the insurance checks. Instead of working with me, this office gave me a hard time refunding the check to me. The insurance director was rude and confrontational. They still owe me money which I had to prove to them by showing the insurance payment forms. read more

It was my first time in a dental office after almost 7 years so needless to say I was nervous. Those nerves were calmed as soon as I went in because the staff immediately made me feel at home. Betty at the front desk was so kind and helpful and my dentist William is amazing at his job. He is incredibly friendly and made me feel calm throughout my appointment. They answered all my questions, explained the procedures thoroughly, and were very professional.
