Cute little addition to the many many eateries on Elmegade. The shop is clean and well decorated, with easy to read signs. You can order from one of four sandwich options: the classic pork, a beef, chicken, or tofu sandwich. Then it's made to order while you wait. You can watch the assembly since all the ingredients are lined up behind the counter.
The pork sandwich I had was pretty good, but could have been a little more generous with the meat. Bread was crusty on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside, like a baguette is supposed to be. It's a good size for lunch. It's not the best, it won't blow your mind, but it'll satisfy the banh mi craving. There are other banh mi places in Copenhagen, but this one has a convenient location and you can walk to the lake to enjoy your sandwich. I don't think there's seating inside, but there are outdoor benches.
They've also got a small display of snacks, and grocery items like vermicelli and vietnamese coffee. read more
