Takeaway deep fried shrimps. Taste is ok. More sweet chili sauce needed. Vinegar tasted a bit off.

Their Phò is soooo good! So tasty, flavorful and hearty, homemade broth! I love it! I would orderd beef or shrimp Phò, that's what they are good at. The rest of the menu: mediocre. Minus for charging 15dkk (2.40$) for a glass of tapwater (that tastes horrible in Dk). The food comes quickly and the waitress is cute. The Pho comes with plenty of different fresh herbs and lemons. Add chilies or shriracha. The portions are very big, and if you have takeaway one portion is enough for 2 persons or to eat twice. The only problem is the takeaway packaging: they used to pack the noodles spearately in a plastig bag, now they come tightly packed in a plastic box under the meat. The noodles are too tight inside and during the delivery they become one mushy ricecake, and are inseparable. So you cant slurp your long noodles, but end up having small noodleballs in your soup....

Came here for lunch because on windy days, I just want warm soup noodles. They have a lunch special which is a large bowl of Vietnamese noodles in beef broth (they also have chicken broth) topped with fresh bean spouts and thai basil. Between 11:00-16:00, the lunch special is Kr 79. The soup is good and the noodles are cooked perfectly. I was sad that there was no beef tripe or tendon option on the menu, that would be a more classic pho option. The beef broth was not the best I've ever had, but it was good. The interior is super clean and nice with bright red cushioned chairs that are oh-so-comfortable. Service is very friendly and, as far as I can tell, the staff speaks Danish, English, and Mandarin. Menu is only in Danish though, but has photos. They also have Vietnamese iced coffee on their menu. I didn't get it this time, but will come back to see if its any good. + cheap, good food + nice service + nice decor and very clean - not really a minus, but there were several babies in there during lunch, so if you don't like sharing an eating space with babies, don't go at lunch.

After walking round vesterbro looking for something to eat we settled on Pho Saigon. We'd already checked it out on Yelp and the helpful yelpers spoke very highly of the place. We shared a delicious platter of summer rolls for starter which i followed with a Thai Green curry and my husband a pho. The food i can only speak highly of and the price wasn't too bad for Copenhagen either especially considering the portion sizes, but the restaurant itself was lacking in atmosphere. The ladies working and cooking were lovely, but we were the only ones in there and i was acutely aware of this....having said that it probably was a bit past dinner time so we'd probably missed the rush. Great food, great portions and friendly staff.

Surprisingly good! We walked along looking for a place that does Vietnamese noodles and glad we found this place! For less than 100 DKK you get a massive bowl of Pho Bo Tai that was delicious! The giant bowl was steaming and the broth was really flavoursome - made properly it seemed as there were giant pots of it in the open kitchen. The summer rolls were not so good though. They were not freshly prepared and had dried out. Looking around it seemed that hot food is the way to go. The stir frys looked great and everyone seemed happy with their food and the kitchen was busy preparing them. The restaurant could do with some tidying up though. There are boxes piled up around the bar and the kitchen area. Definitely made the place look more like a takeaway then a restaurant. Come here if you really fancy some Vietnamese food but not if you want a nice evening dinner.

First a disclaimer - yes, I was a glutton and blame it on my addiction to great Vietnamese food. I was in pain I ate so much. Food was outstanding for a very reasonable price. Cozy family restaurant atmosphere with great friendly service and my preference over the upscale French / vIetnamese restaurants in the area. Vietnamese coffee was great, beef pho was awesome, fried egg noodle with chicken topped with crushed peanuts was very tasty. I normally get pork vermicelli, but didn't see it on the menu. I'm coming back the next time I visit Copenhagen.

    Oo Yeah!

Finally got my chance to write a review for this. What's not to like about this one... let me give you a checklist Delicious hearty broth? Check! Reasonable price? Check! Free herbs refill? Check! A jar of chopped bird eye chili? Check! Check! And Check! Discounted price lunch offer? Check! Friends brainwashed success rate? 100% Smiley and Friendly owner/chef? Check! Great, right?! Make sure that your mission is, to come here with an empty stomach and leave feeling like a stranded whale. PS. Please! Don't ruin the pho with the Sriracha sauce, use the fish sauce instead

Good place for casual Vietnamese meal, lunch dishes for 79 Dk. Decent beef pho, great pork spring rolls, nice fried rice noodles with beef.

I was skeptical at first because of other "Asian" food I've tried in Denmark left me wanting still. When we arrived, there was a wait outside the door. In fact, every subsequent time I've come here there is a wait outside the door. That is a good sign! Reservations are recommended, but I feel this place needs a better system. You call in and if you're lucky someone will answer and put your name down. However, once you arrive you could still be waiting. They do take walk-in, you just need to be patient. Obviously based on the name, this is Hanoi style pho. It was a bowl of home for me. The soup was tasty and the beef was soft. Portions were good and I was definitely full afterwards. I did cry a little on the inside that I paid over $20 USD for a bowl of pho, but that's what you get when you travel. I also tried their shaking beef which was also yummy.

That said, this is the spot to try if you want to taste the famous "LêLê" menu without going to the actual fine-dining restaurant. Unless of course you have the $. Great spot for a cool salad and Vietnamese ice coffee on a hot summer day, but flavors are not authentic enough to satisfy my vietnamese food craving. Salad was just regular greens with a simple sauce, nothing I couldn't make from my own kitchen. Vermicelli roll was OK, again nothing special, making it seem overpriced even for Copenhagen. I think a lot of it has to do with the branding - they do a good job of spreading themselves throughout the city, making themselves known to the Danes who will find the cuisine new and interesting. Good, fresh picnic food. I'm glad they don't pre-make their rolls. But overall, I wouldn't recommend LêLê, as there are other more affordable, more bang-for-your-buck options if you just do your research.
