Had to scramble for a cut and color this afternoon since appointment at another salon fell through. They were able to get me right in that evening. It was a bit pricey but loved my cut and color. The salon is great and I will definitely be making another appointment. read more

My hair was very brassy after my root touch-up here and my beautician, Holly, refused to correct it. I even offered that I could come back another time so she could fix it, but she told me that "she hadn't done anything wrong" and wouldn't help me further. She blamed my hair and treated me roughly, saying she had to hurry through because she didn't schedule enough time for me. Same beautician, Holly, did my son's hair and did a terrible job. It was an uneven cut and the coloring and highlights weren't done well at all. She didn't thin the top of his hair, the sides looked more like a bowl cut and the coloring was three inches down instead of at the hair line. Once again, she wouldn't go back to do anything to fix it. Do not go to Bangs. The experience was more than disappointing. I now have to go somewhere else to get my hair done correctly. read more

I just brought my son in for another haircut with our stylist, Holli. She is an incredible human being and a badass when it comes to taking care of our hair. Besides always getting great service here, the vibe of this joint is awesome. Everybody in this place is always super friendly and outgoing. I read all great reviews and booked an appointment with Laura Williams, She's a wonderful lady, But my hair is destroyed & I have BC a CC wedding to go to soon. I am devastated. I came in to get layers and curtain bangs, but left with botched hair. She told me she didn't have time to wet my hair so she just started cutting and left me with choppy short hair in the front and absolutely no layers. She proceeded to tell me that she also did not have time to style my hair and somehow I was still charged with a wash and style This place is hella expensive and the girls suck at hair!! BEWARE! Horrible service. I left the salon looking worse than when I arrived. Ashley Becker told me my hair would not be as blonde as I wanted, and explained it would take a few appointments to get it to the color I wanted. I agreed. She did not however tell me that the color could not be completed because she had other clients scheduled for shortly after my appointment. I specifically told he that I wear my hair up a lot, so I wanted the underside of my hair light. When I complained about the color of the underside, said she didn't have time to finish the highlights on the entire underside of my hair, even though she charged for a full highlight, she said that she ran out of time because she had another client booked and waiting. The whole underside of my hair is now orange. She left all my grey hair visible on top. I was also charged for a blow out and style, but my hair was still damp and frizzy and looked like one of the muppets. When I expressed my unhappiness she was extremely rude, the girl at the front desk was also rude and insisted I should be charged for a blow out, even though my hair was damp and unfinished. she only agreed to remove the $15 style charge. Another stylist, who was not even involved in the conversation, claimed that I had spent fifteen minutes in the bathroom, which was why there wasn't enough time to finish styling my hair properly. This claim was not only false, but it was also very rude. $300 later, yet I am on my way home to color my roots and style my own hair. Only go to this salon if you want your hair to look terrible. I went in the salon looking for a blond balayage and showed the girl a picture from the salon's instagram showing her what I wanted. I assumed because I showed her a picture from their page she would be able to do it and she didn't seem to have any concerns. But I walked out of the salon with streaky thick highlights and the bottom of my hair was fried off and coming out in chunks. She sent me out of the salon without fixing it and told me to buy a toner because she couldn't get the brassiness out. I had to go to great clips the next day and chop off 5 inches of my hair because it was dead. I don't think I am going to be back anytime soon. read more

This review is about Mandi Darding. I have been waiting a while to write this review because I am so conflicted on what happened when I was at the salon. I went to Bangs salon because it was recommended by a friend. This salon has a good reputation so I was excited to go! Right when I arrived, I was greeted by an unfriendly receptionist who told me to sit down because my stylist was filing up her water bottle. I replied that it was fine and began to sit down when the stylist walks by me and tells me to get up and follow her. As the visit progressed, things got more and more strange. The stylist sat me down and I explained to her what I wanted and showed her a picture. The stylist rudely explained that I should not expect my hair to be that blonde that day, which really wasn't that much lighter than my hair now. I have been getting my hair bleached from a dirty blonde to blonde for about nine years now. All it really needed was a toner. So I said okay, and she proceeded to do my hair. She did not make an effort to have a conversation, but when she did, I was happy to talk with her. Instead, she decided to just cut me off and make an awkward environment for me. In addition to this, she put me under the dryer to process the color for a LONG TIME while she was nowhere in sight. The processing color in my hair got so hot that it was dripping all over my dry hair, therefore coloring hair that should not be! She was nowhere to be found and I had to have another stylist go find her in the back to help. She never checked in on me or made an effort to be nice. I even tried to get her to sell me product (which I know most people do not like when hairstylists try to upsell them). I was willing to buy almost anything if she would have engaged in that conversation but instead she just brushed me off saying "I don't know, might have some in the lobby." She also then made me feel very uncomfortable by not understanding what I meant by a trim. She asked me multiple times what I meant and I had to explain to her what a trim was. So she then tells me that I should not put heat on my hair for a few days because it is light and dried out from the bleach. This is normal, so I told her it was not a problem. So tell me why she asks me if I want my hair straightened or curled? I told her my hair is straight so don't worry about it, but I guess she took that as "straighten my hair". She should know that by me walking into the salon and working with my hair that not only do I not need that in the first place (my hair dries straight), but she should avoid it and listen to what she JUST said! Above all of this, it took her almost 3 hours to do my hair when I only alotted about two because I had work afterwords. She took so much time without any regard for my own, and made me pay on her "square" chip at the front with all the stylists sitting down and staring at me. Her app only allowed for tips 20% or more in increments of 20% each slot. I was forced to tip her more than I wanted to because I wasn't going to not tip her at all.... I mean she actually did a great job on my hair. The problem is, this salon and it's employees have no customer service and/or friendliness. Every person working there was either not personable or giving other customers/stylists dirty looks. Seems very catty. I'm so upset about this because like I said, great with her work but awful customer skills. I did not schedule another appointment just because she ruined my experience here. It is not often I go to a nice salon to relax and treat myself to such a luxury, so for the amount of money I spent, I don't think it was worth it. My stylist's name was Mandi Darding. I am disappointed in this also because she had a chance of making more money from talking products to me, but decided not to for no obvious reasoning. Price was extremely high for quality of work given to clients. The stylist they placed me with was not only late to my appointment, but she acted extremely put out of her way to do my hair and even made the comment that she had someone else she needed to be on time for. So I left and wont be rescheduling. read more
