I have been going to by the blade for a couple years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have always wanted a job in cosmetology and the owner (Brandon) has done nothing but encourage me. Anytime I am there not only does he do a remarkable job on my hair but he also teaches me as he does it. He knows how I always wanna do something different and as soon as I sit down he looks at me and says "So what are we trying today". No is never an answer to any request I have, big or small. His salon is always clean and very welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Recently Brandon took on 2 new employees. The first one is the amazing Ty. He is so creative and can put color on a bald man and make it look beautiful. He is so creative and loves to do anything that is unique. The second employee is Heidi. I have never seen anyone who can work a make up brush like she does. I have never Been able to do anything more then put mascara and eye liner on, and thought trying was a waste of time but after spending an hour with Heidi I realized just how wrong I am. she encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and give make up a try and I couldn't be happier. I've been seeing the owner, Brandon, for my hair for a little over 3 years now. I love my visits and really appreciate what he does with both my color and my style. What has impressed me the most, however, is how Brandon treats my son. My 2 year old is blessed with a whole lot of hair. I had taken my son to two salons who specialize in children's hair and the result was horrific. The workers in these salons were fine, but my son was terrified and ended up with us having to hold him still just for the cut. It was traumatizing to him and to us. Taking my son to Brandon has been AMAZING. After hearing my story, Brandon blocked out extra time for my son. He goes very slowly with him, engaging him in conversation and gaining his trust. My son loves to dance, so Brandon finishes each hair cut by having a "dance party" - turning up the music and dancing around the salon. Brandon is talented, fair priced, and skilled, but, more importantly, he's a truly caring person who goes over and above for all of his clients. read more

I have been seeing Brandon (the owner) here for a few years now and I continue to be amazed at his knowledge and skill regarding what an aging guy needs to get his gray touched up without it being obvious (like that fellow on Elk and Elk commercials). He keeps up on industry advancements in color products and is always eager to try something different if I express the slightest concern. He's anxious to please and always professional. I have been going to this salon for quite sometime and every single hair cut has been amazing and flawless. I usually go in knowing what I want but sometimes I am not sure and my stylist Brandon, who's also the owner, is super helpful. He takes the time to educate me on my hair and helps me make the right decision for my face shape. He is extremely knowledgeable and if you're honestly eager to learn he will teach you, but you have to be willing to listen! The salon itself is super clean and efficient. Ty was the best! He accommodated my schedule graciously, even though I arrived very late after a highway shutdown delayed me by 2 hours. I love the cut, which was carefully done and is easy to style, and the colour and highlights are perfect. He gave a lovely head massage and styled my hair beautifully, even though I was so late.
