They offer a great variety of options at very fair prices, and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food itself is outstanding. I ordered the chicken platter, and it really hit the spot. The yellow rice was perfectly cooked with a soft, ideal texture--and in my book, if you can nail the rice, you know the rest of the food is going to be good. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

You order and pay at the counter and then they deliver your food to your table - I'm a fan of this setup because I can leave quickly and not have to wait for the server to give me the check :) It took maybe ~15 minutes to get our food, but it was piping hot and fresh when it arrived. It was so tasty! My wife and I split the Goat Karahi, which came with "two naan bread" (those naan must be huge, because it seemed more like five naan bread to us!) in a separate basket. The goat was flavorful and the sauce was delicious. The naan were fluffy and tasted really good too. The staff were nice and helpful throughout the meal. This will definitely be one of our new lunch spots, and I'm excited to come back!

Wish the buffets in RTP cost a little less but it's on par with everyone else price wise.

It's a homey restaurant and you can eat your food there or take it to go. The staff is friendly and helpful. The meals are very reasonably priced; you get a main, 2 sides, and your choice of hushpuppies or a roll for $9.20 (as of March 2026). The tray of food was really heavy, they really pack it full! The BBQ Chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed both my sides, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Squash & Onions. The Hushpuppies were perfectly fried and delicious. I also tried their Banana Pudding, I loved the chunks of banana and the cookies. The menu/offerings change by the day and are posted on their website. I can't wait to try something new on my next visit!

The only thing we felt was missing from the menu was an ability to do both in one meal. A half pho, half banh mi option would be a perfect addition to the menu and has been seen at other similar establishments. I opted for the pork banh mi and it was good. The bread was both soft and crunchy as French bread should be. The pork was decently portioned and the accompaniments were great including the aioli. It has a combo meal option with a drink and fries so I also had peach bubble tea. It wasn't as sweet as I prefer, but still good. The service was quick and attentive. They came to the table to take our order or you can order up front to go. It's super casual as it is in a shopping center and it was clear they got a lot of to-go orders. I would definitely be back and glad we happened upon it!!

His enthusiasm and pride in the restaurant were immediately noticeable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. He even took the time to tell us about their downtown Raleigh location. Customer service like his makes a lasting impression, and he deserves some recognition! The restaurant itself is surprisingly large, with two stories and plenty of seating. They even have an upstairs area available for larger parties and events, which is a great option for groups. The food was absolutely spot on! I ordered the chicken tikka masala with paneer, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Definitely a place I'd come back to for the food alone! The only thing that caught me off guard was the ordering process. You order your food at the counter before finding a seat, and you're responsible for getting your own drinks and refills. It's a little different from the traditional sit-down restaurant experience. I can see how this setup might help a large restaurant operate with fewer employees, but it does change the tipping experience. Without a dedicated server checking on you throughout the meal, I definitely found myself reconsidering how much I had already tipped. Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and Gibbs was an absolute standout. If the rest of the staff brings the same energy he does, they're doing something right! I'll definitely be back!
