The…read morerestaurant was very accommodating, and the host and staff were super pleasant, welcoming, and engaging throughout our visit. We started with paneer tikka and chicken tikka--both came in generous portions and were freshly made. The chutneys paired really well and added to the overall flavor. We also had a bottle of Piano red wine, which surprisingly worked quite nicely with the food. For the main course, everything was delicious. Standouts for us were the butter chicken, palak paneer, biryani, prawn curry, and garlic naan. The food tasted very fresh and well prepared, and you could tell care went into each dish. Service was fast despite the size of our group, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, everyone had a good time--especially the kids. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with great food and warm hospitality. Would definitely recommend for both small and large groups!

I had the meat and seafood thali, both were good, but I definitely preferred the meat one. Chai isn't on the menu, but they said it we'd available when I asked. The chai was also quite good and in a really cute pot. One thing that could have made it better though is if the pot had better insulation, the tea got cold really quick.

It was not…read moredifficult to find and, in fact, perhaps easier to reach by foot than by car, since it was located in a nicely kept urban cul-de-sac. Parking looked like it might be at a bit of a premium. The storefront was in a walk-up, turn-of-the-century style facade with a warm and inviting appearance. The entry area was narrow with tables lining the walls for 3 or 4 meters, which then opened into a larger seating area with a decent capacity and a full bar overlooking the floor. The decor was conducive to a nice, relaxed ambiance. There also might have been another level to this establishment, but I did not explore that possibility. I was seated quickly and without any fuss in the narrow area of the restaurant, which was a little quieter than the main portion of the dining room. It was moderately busy and I found the less populated portion of the room to my liking. My waiter tended to me fairly quickly and did a good job during my entire visit. The menu tended toward Goan regional specialties, which was a nice twist. That is not something I often find and it is also ties the menu to their Portuguese location. I decided to try the Chicken Chacuti, a Portuguese influenced dish with coconut, ginger, garlic and other spices. I had never had this before, but it sounded quite intriguing. I opted to accompany it with rice and Peshwari Naan. This combination was wonderful as the sweetness of the bread offset the slightly spicy tone of the main dish. I was generally quite satisfied with my fare. I finished this with a decent Masala Chai. The total bill was €25.30, which included my main and the accompaniments, a glass of house red, a water and the tea. I thought this was reasonable considering the quality of the fare. This was roughly $28 USD with the exchange rate at the time. If you are in the area and fancy Indian fare, I would not hesitate to recommend this spot.

I only tried paneer tikka masala which pretty good that I'm taking home what I couldn't finish knowing I may not be able to eat it as I'm staying at a hotel so chances of being able to warm it up are slim?!

Those who love hot (temperature) food and have been in Portugal will understand what I am talking about. Saw this place and decided to give it a try. We were a party of 6 and very hungry so we ordered the fried momos, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, rogan chicken, pork chow mein, chicken biryani and the regular and garlic naan. The staff was super friendly and the food came out quick. Every single dish was amazing! Exactly what we wanted, perfect amount of spice. My favorite dishes were the rogan chicken and the chicken biryani. Definitely a must in Lisbon! We kept talking about the meal even after coming back to the U.S. You will not be disappointed, highly recommended!

Didn't really expect to find a Nepalese restaurant in the Alfama district within Lisbon. But since…read moresome members of our group were really craving spice, we ended up here. It's a relatively small place with only a few tables. I had the Mushroom 65. I should start with the fact that they absolutely delivered on the spice levels. I asked for mine four-star, and this was the perfect level of hot - enough to feel the spice but not so much that it's actively painful. The mushrooms are cooked very well, and remain quite crispy. I'm happy to report the curry, which I also tried, retains the same level of spice. The downside of this place is the amount of oil used is just way too excessive. It amalgamates and pools at the bottom of the container, no matter what the dish is. This contributes to the flavor but only to a certain amount. The portions are pretty large for the relatively cheap prices. Overall, this is a pretty decent spot for a very different style of food. 8/10
