But recently Iv found dirt in my food, usually veggies and lettuce. I shrugged it off, and let it slide, stuff happens. Today I got the freshrolls and noticed some weird dots in my food. After closer inspection I realized it was a few different types of bugs. They are probably harmless but still, COMMON. Really gross. read more

Visited this location during lunch hour and it was restaurant week. It was busy and the gal working the dining room provided amazing service and managed take out orders and dining in customers with such efficiency and always with a smile. I've eaten here many times before and it's always been great...until tonight. A group of new waitstaff sat watching videos at a booth and playng loud music on the speakers. They didn't bring us silverware or even a plate for our food, just the serving bowls. They were joking, laughing, and shouting loudly in the kitchen. This place is so underrated. It's my husband and my favorite Thai food on the hill. We always get chicken pad thai with a side of peanut sauce. The portions are great size. Very large. I easily make two meals out of it. And it comes with all the carrots, sprouts, peanuts, etc on the top. Authentic and delicious. They also spice it appropriately. I usually get a 2 star here and handle at least 3 or 4 stars at Thai bamboo. I think this is more authentic so the spice level is higher. The crunchy mini spring rolls with plum sauce are also great. I've had the cold shrimp spring rolls too. They're also good. Never had a bad experience. Just don't go on a Friday at 5pm or you'll be waiting for 45mins-1hr. read more

I was a little apprehensive because of the price but I think the quality and quanity of the food makes up for it. The favorite was the pineapple and shrimp fried rice. So disappointed with Bangkok Thai. I've been coming here for Thai food for 7 years, and every year it seems to go downhill just slightly. This year they seem to not care about the quality of food whatsoever. I paid upwards of $20 for my pad see ew dish, which I simply asked for with tofu and 3 stars. Not only was there absolutely zero spice, but there were almost no pad see ew noodles to be found in the dish. The dish mostly consisted of broccoli. Furthermore, this was the most bland dish of pad see ew I've ever received. I used to recommend this place, but now I'll be going to D'Bali or Kunis from now on :( read more

A few years back this used to be our go to place when coming in from out of town. Over the last year and half it's turned into a disappointment at best and health hazard...likely! This weekend it was three strikes you're out! The food was terrible. It was tepid and lacked sauce. It tasted of spoiled produce! Two of the dishes were extremely small portions and then just one was excessively filled with greasy flavorless noodles with very little protein and a tiny portion of vegetables. All barely resembled any of the descriptions. It was filthy inside, ice cold, and no where near the quality or portions or service you would expect for the price that you pay for the food. One of my favorite thai places in Spokane. My go-to items are pad kee mao & pad se-ew. Tried something new today- so they lost a couple stars because of their #20 "Kuoy Taew Tom Yum (Hot and Sour Noodle Soup) A moderate spicy soup, rice noodles, ground chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts, cilantro, green onion, lime juice, lemon grass, fried wonton, and lime leaves in chili paste." Does not list ground peanuts as an ingredient. When asked they said it has peanuts and we could've asked for it without. Major allergy alert site as other items with peanuts are mentioned. read more

Regular at the valley location. Didn't want to drive the extra miles as south hill location is closer by. Pick up order was 55minute wait on Monday night dinner and I didn't think the wait was too bad. But when I open the box at home the sticks of chicken satay were all burnt and one is too burnt that I had to throw it out. Worst Thai ihave ever had! I am a huge Thai fan. I should have know better when I wasn't offered a spice level. Their food has no flavor at all. We have eaten here many many times but last fridays experience Jan 10th was ridiculous. We were there around 3 pm and it seemed the cook was off for the afternoon. Two young boys seemed to be running the place and my food was served cold and obvously had been sitting a while. The fried tofu was cold to the touch and when asked the young man server to heat up food. it was simply zapped in a microwave with no acknowledgement of any kind. My new go-to Thai place in Spokane! I ordered the lunch special, which comes with 2 entrees (default, with an option to get 3 entrees), two teensy tiny egg rolls, and rice. Given that there was only one server for the entire restaurant, it only took about 10 minutes to have my piping hot food in front of me. My thai iced tea came out a lot quicker, so I had that to sip on while waiting. I chose pad thai and the sweet and sour chicken, both very spicy. The one, but major problem: the chicken was wayyyyyyyyy overcooked. The pad thai chicken was fine but the sweet and sour chicken was so dry that I ended up leaving all of it behind. That speaks volumes to how much I couldn't eat it. I'm pretty cheap and love having leftovers so this pretty much meant that I wouldn't have any leftovers--but no regrets. The pad thai was easily one of the best I have ever had. Unlike other places that offer a spicy option, Bangkok actually managed to bring the heat. Love! Can't wait to have it again. read more

Pretty small restaurant with simple/modernish decorations. My friends and i went in just in time to catch the lunch special. The special offers a plate of rice with two choices for sides and two mini egg rolls for $12.99. It doesn't look like a lot but it definitely fills you up. I wish i could remember which numbers i got, i think they were but i got the yellow curry (C4) and beef (C9)? With the beef being level 3 spice. It was a bit too spicy for me which was really disappointing because i can usually handle spice and the beef was so good i wanted to keep eating it. Too pricy especially for the amount of food you get. Food is just ok. Some of the pricing is weird. For instance the spring rolls cost $13. When you get them they give you a whole bunch of these little smoky-sized ones. And that's great if you're ordering family style, I guess, but when it's just 2 people all I want are 4-6 regular sized spring rolls for $6-$7 bucks. Since we ordered to go these were not very crunchy. Taste is ok I always get the pad thai and hub usually gets some version of the pad krapow. Both are only just ok. We always order spicy and they never make it spicy enough. Maybe it's a different experience when you eat in, but their take out is average. Nothing special read more

The day before Christmas, my sister and I decided to get lunch delivered to us. We had been out getting groceries for dinner the next day and decided we didn't really want to cook. She suggested this place because she has been here multiple times before the shut down and gotten then a lot during it. Since I am always down to trying new places, I was totally for it. We decided to split one of the lunches because she said that would be more than enough food for the both of us and that way we wouldn't have too many leftovers, since we were cooking the next day. I am glad she did. The portion sizes are very generous. We got the chicken Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry. Both were delicious. The Pad Thai was very subtle in the flavors but the veggies in it were fresh and the chicken was good. My only issue with it was that it was a little dry and by the time it got to us the noodles were a little rubbery. I assume because it had to be delivered, instead of being able to be eaten right when it comes from the kitchen. The Curry was good, very little heat though. The flavors were well balanced and the veggies were again very fresh. I really liked the curry because it was obviously more saucy and over the rice that came with the meal was really tasty. It comes with spring rolls, which by the time we got them were soggy. Again I chalk that up to delivery and not being able to eat in. The delivery was fast and the food was really good. I would have liked more spice, but that is a personal preference. I really look forward to being able to try their food as it should be eaten, fresh and hot from the kitchen. So it a definitely a place that I will be going to check out once Washington reopens. With that being said, their food is good and delivery is definitely a nice option.
