Boy there's nothing like runny, watery yellow curry! I asked for a bowl of Tom Yum and a side of steamed noodles for my soup. They brought out a teeny Tiny little cup of soup with a big bowl of under cooked stuck together noodles.... reallllly? I could put like three noodles in that cup. When I asked the server if this was a bowl pointing to my soup he said "No....it's a cup" I said "wellI asked for a bowl". He said oh, sorry. And walked away. Any moron could see that those noodles would in no way fit it that wee little custard cup. Nope nope nope. The soup was sub par and to top it all off.... they started SWEEPING the CARPET with straw brooms while we were eating!!!! What kind of crap was that kicking up I nto our food?? First a disclaimer. The Bangkok Kitchen is a hole-in-the-wall little restaurant across the street from a Staples and easy to miss as you drive by. But you shouldn't drive by if you're hungry. It's a family owned operation that is very popular with locals, who parade in during lunch and dinner hours to collect their take-out. There's a very friendly give-and-take between the owners and their long-time customers that speaks well for the restaurant. But they are no less friendly to out-of-owners like us, who followed the recommendation of other Yelpers. We loved the Tom Kha Gal (chicken in coconut milk), so delicately seasoned, the crispy dumplings, the mildly spicy lemongrass and the deliciously spicy lab. The servings were plentiful, and we wished we had room for more. Prices are very reasonable, the service quick and efficient. We believe the Bangkok Kitchen is a small gem on the Cape. read more

Great, small atmosphere. We had a reservation and got there to a reserved table waiting for us. We ordered Spring Rolls and the Chicken Satay as appetizers which had delicious sauces. We ordered and our food was out pretty quickly, plenty of vegan and vegetarian options (tofu, veggies). There are also so many Thai places around but this one is definitely recommended! In my green curry I had 3 very small pieces of chicken (1 inch by 1 inch in size) in total?!! This place is pretty cozy little restaurant over by the airport across from TJMaxx & Ocean State shopping strip. They probably only have about 10 tables mostly 2 tops. The decor & atmosphere is very cozy, simple & casual. The staff is very nice, polite, pleasant & efficient. I have travelled around all of SE Asia & know Asian food pretty well. It's one of my favorite cuisine next to Vietnamese, Middle Eastern & Mediterranean. I have been here intermittently over the past 6 - 7 years. And it's been pretty good but some things are very good & others are misses. I came here one time with my mom & had the whole fried basil fish & it was *very* good. We both really liked it. It was pricey though: $22-$26 for it. This time, I had the chicken wings which were okay but not great. They were a little bland. And they had a sort of breading similar to hush puppies almost but not with corn meal. It looked like egg batter. I wouldn't order them again. I really prefer the simple Panko breading. I didn't think the sauce was that great either. I had the fish cakes which were good. I really these with fish sauce with fresh chopped chiles. They provided a milder sauce which is the norm & it was fine but not as spicy & flavorful. I had the Chicken Pad See You which was fine but wasn't great. It just didn't have a lot of flavor. I would definitely try other noodle dishes. Chicken Pad Wood Sen is one of my favorites, so will try that. The Tom Kai Gai soup looks excellent & the curries look delish, particularly the green curry. I will try those next time. This place serves pretty good Thai. I eat at this restaurant regularly and am always happy. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, in the best way. Painted a light lime green, the restaurant sits defiantly on a postage stamp of a lot on a tired strip of road just south of the airport rotary in Hyannis. If you're in the Staples parking lot, look across the road; if you pass the Taco Bell you've gone too far. The sign says "Thai Food". And the food is great. Solid, aromatic Thai cuisine. Served in a small, clean, slightly quirky dining room which is separated from the kitchen by the counter holding the cash register. On the walls there's a picture of the king of Thailand, some nice wall hangings, and someone's oddly interesting painting of a fox. The staff are very friendly, and ask after my mother when she isn't with me for lunch. Regulars know to give the latch on the door an extra tug on their way out. Be a regular. read more

A gem! Quaint, small dining area with an attentive wait staff. Everything is consistent in terms of freshness and quality. Their Tom Kha Gai is one of the most satisfying soups to have. All of the noodle dishes are loaded with flavor, the crispy Pad Thai has the perfect texture balance while the Pad Kee Mao has the perfect level of spice. This tiny Thai restaurant, just off the traffic circle in Hyannis is a favorite. It only has about 20 seats. The restaurant is simple, friendly, and inexpensive, with excellent food. We've probably eaten there 100 times, as we almost always visit for lunch when shopping in Hyannis. I love lots of their dishes, especially the spicy eggplant. My wife thinks their Pad Thai is the best she has had anywhere. I think they're open till 10. We've eaten dinner there multiple times as well. Not fancy, but great food! read more

Im not sure if there is new owners- as I haven't seen the usual friendly gentleman around. He has made visiting here pleasant and the food was consistent for years. The last two times I went in, I ordered two very different dishes and they were served with the exact same sauce, different veggies. Subpar at best. The cools are not using the recipes that they always have, its not great. Im disappointed because this has been one of my go to's for many years. "Oh my god, they're going to meet us", said my wife. "Who?", I replied. We were parked in the small parking lot behind Bangkok Kitchen, and it was POURING RAIN. Just 5 minutes earlier I walked into the restaurant to check on wait times and a highchair for the toddler. Now I was back in the car getting the family, caught in the rain, and trapped in the torrential downpour. I had just called the restaraunt to let them know we were waiting in the car till the rain ceased, when my wife made the comment, and I looked up. There was one of Bangkok's staff, walking towards us in the pouring rain, with an umbrella ready to escort us. And that he did. What amazing customer service!!!! The lunch specials were terrific , we ordered Pad Thai and the red curry tofu, and it was so very good. Kudos to the staff on such excellent customer service!!! read more

My boyfriend and I came in here for lunch and we couldn't be more satisfied. First thing you notice is the place is gorgeous! Wonderfully styled and comfortable. He had the chicken curry($9) with California roll($6), graced with a small but very tasty cucumber salad. The rolls were very well done, balanced, and the rice fluffy. The curry is gentle in taste and smooth, easily some of the best we've had. I had the chicken pad Thai ($8) and dancing eel($12) which was so tasty. Some places leave you feeling like you pay too much for the sushi but not here. The size is right and they know what they are doing. The quality cannot be overstated. This is a very small restaurant with only 6 tables but the food is amazing! The steamed mussel soup we had was delicious! The taste of fresh mussels and fresh herbs and the broth was soooo mouth watering! If I were to eat here again I would order 2 bowls of the steamed mussels and that'll be my dinner. The soup is just what my girlfriend and I needed after a cold night at the cape also the mango sticky rice was awesome! There are no shortages of flavor and service at this restaurant!! Came for the glowing yelp reviews but our experience was average at best. Appetizers: Fresh rolls needed more Thai basil or mint or something herb-y. Dipping sauce was good. 5 mussels come in the appetizer. Good but not amazing as another Yelper wrote. Entrees: Me Siam (vermicelli) was tasty. Pad thai was not flavorful, pale rice noodles with 3 shrimp and some chicken. Lemongrass beef was eh - some lemongrass but hardly any spice despite it being starred as a spicy dish. Broccoli medley was decent, toasted sesame flavor. Overall, nothing to write home about. And portions were small. We did appreciate that extra bowls of Jasmine rice are $1 each which is more reasonable than most places. Service: It's a small place, but even when there was no one waiting for a table, we felt rushed. The minute we finished a plate, someone was hovering to clear it. Honestly the best Thai food I've ever had, and I like to consider myself a guru! Came here on a whim while in town for business and I'm happy I followed my intuition. I had the pad see yoo lunch special with a Thai iced tea. A very healthy portion of both totaled a check of $11.95 and it was honestly the best I've ever had. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavor was spot on. Also, the staff is so friendly and this little place is cute and quant yet authentic. The place is very small so anticipate a wait especially during peak times like 6pm. Trust me, the wait is worth it. We were visiting from NJ/NY and we wanted something different from the lobster rolls and clam chowder we were eating pretty much all week. This had good reviews so we tried it. So happy we did. Honestly, I nearly choked halfway through my meal because I was eating it so fast. It was sooo good! I had the tofu basil fried rice, others had pad Thai, and my father had the chicken in red curry. I had the coconut soup which was freaking awesome! We also had fresh and fried spring rolls which were also good. Service was quick. The owners and staff are super nice! They are very accommodating. Mighty fine cuisine in a mighty small space. Pretty sure the kitchen takes up 65% of this 9 table restaurant but don't let that fool you my friend. The cuisine is as authentic as the quality of the ingredients are farm fresh. I believe it's family run as the same smiling faces are there to greet you, take your order efficiently and ensure you have a wonderful experience. After a lousy experience earlier in my travels this month with fresh rolls, I gave them a shot here and they did not disappoint. Obviously freshly made and when paired with their dark peanut sauce, only good things can come from it. Some of the best Thai food that I have ever had. The quality of the food was fantastic and the flavors were out of this world. I started with the Tom Yum Koong soup. I ordered it at spicy level 2 (out of 3). The soup was super spicy, but so good that I didn't notice other than my sinuses being cleared. The lemongrass and lime flavors were perfect together. The mushrooms were fresh as advertised. The crab Rangoon was great too. For the main course I had beef Pad See You...again excellent. Reading the other recommendations, we tried out the Thai Iced Tea. It was so good that we want to try to brew some ourselves. The only downsides were no BYOB and it is a tiny place. Don't let either of those steer you away. First, you can make reservations ahead of time. Second, the food is so reasonably priced that you will have some extra cash left over to grab a few drinks elsewhere. Two thumbs up! read more

It was A-OK 3-stars but I wasn't wild about it. We shared an appetizer combo for 2 (about $16) that was quite good but not perfect-- I didn't like the spring rolls (odd mushy filling) or the chicken satay (dry)-- but the chicken wings, tofu, and fish cake were delicious, as were the shrimp in a blanket--- overall we were happy with it. A soup was OK, but not great, and seemed small for the price. Thai iced coffee and iced tea was ... OK ($2 each). We ended up paying $30 for the app combo, one soup, iced tea, and iced coffee, tax and tip. We looked at the rest of the menu... main course were $9, $10 and $11; house specials more like $16. Service was good, the place is clean enough, you walk past the kitchen to get to the bathroom, so you really get to see it all.... and it's .... OK.... but the decor is not attractive and the view out the front is worse... staring across the road to Staples plaza. Still, they had a steady stream of regulars so they obviously have their fans.... I would rather try someplace new than go back again though. read more
