    Pad Thai with tofu
    Jen S.

Yesterday, while still stuck on a soft diet for another 12 hours (temporary crown after the prior, older one broke) and hungry for something that wasn't yogurt, I decided to try Bangkok 9 for a late lunch, thinking something with noodles would fit the bill. The dining room is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and they had some featured specials, but I went for the tofu Pad Thai on the regular menu. It was delicious, and there was enough for me to pack some of it up to go home with me for later. My server was very kind and attentive. I need to add this to the list of places to go when I'm out doing errands (which I was yesterday) and need a meal in the midst of it.

Hit up this spot spontaneously bc i was craving some noodle soup and didn't want to drive to get pho. it's in a big shopping center with plenty of parking, the server was super friendly. i ordered something that most don't think about when it comes to Thai food - duck noodle soup. So so good. the broth was incredible . i sub out the thin noodles for thicker noodles ! will come back again for sure

We were staying in the Sonoma inn and wanted to get some Asian food. This place is cute. The owner here is so nice. She knows how to do business. For the food, everything is averagely good. I wouldn't say anything is particularly good or bad. But it's definitely on the expansive side in comparison to a lot of Thai food in SF.

Food was very good! Really enjoyed my pad Thai with prawn. The prawn were juicy. Also the Thai spice level was perfect. Hot enough but not super spicy. Great flavor overall. Only downside is there aren't a ton of workers so the wait time was a bit and there were a lot of people standing around waiting for there to go orders. Would eat again and if you like Thai you should give it a try!

The venue is beautiful and clean. Staff friendly and attentive, however, the food is average and it took very long to be ready even though the restaurant had only a couple of other tables besides hours. I loved the fresh avocado rolls that came with my spicy noodles special but the noodles did not feel very special just regular. I would've given 3.5 stars but it doesn't allow me to - this is strictly my personal opinion of someone who eats a lot of Thai food and is very picky.

For lunch my daughter had set her mind to eat Thai food. We didn't have much options within the area with great reviews. Glad Yelp had 4 star for this restaurant. We ordered Thai prawn fried rice and prawn chow Mein. Both the dishes were good and came with the side of salad. I loved their salad with peanut sauce. The food was delicious and service was great. Staffs were wearing mask and the restaurant was clean. Overall great experience.

Sweetness from the corn, sauce, and the creaminess from the cheese worked perfectly. Spice from the serranos punched my tastebuds awake. I'd recommend asking for some of their homemade ranch in the side which balanced it out perfectly. These truffle onion rings were sweet, crispy, and aromatic. The smell of truffle and heat from the fresh fry immediately hits your nose and sense as you raise them to take a bite. Quite possibly some of the best gourmet onions rings I've ever had. They may be a bit oily but the way they're fried doesn't make them feel heavy. We had a bit of a long wait but the staff were friendly and accommodating. For entrees my wife ordered the steak frites which she thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't decide on what I wanted so I ordered three appetizers. The tuna tartare and burrata were great but the pork belly was out of this world. Very flavorful and a well-thought-out dish; something that I will order every time I go there. We of course ended with dessert. The strawberry rhubarb crisp was terrific as was the crème brûlée. I didn't the sorbet paired well with the crème brûlée but it was delicious on its own. It was beautifully plated in a rustic manner. The duck was perfectly cooked. I ordered it because of the wild rice risotto. It was fabulous. Don't expect a creamy risotto like an arborio rice risotto. This had so much flavor and a little chew to it as it was wild rice. I loved it. The vegetables, green beans and carrot--were vibrant and cooked just right. Everything was delicious. Service: From being greeted by the host and being attended to by my server, to the gentleman I assume is the owner who came to my table several times to ask how my meal was, the service was excellent. Attentive without hovering, and comfortably friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere: I sat on the patio under trellis with grapevines and clusters of big purple grapes overhead. The space felt intimate, but also open between tables. There were quite a few tables full, but it never felt loud or too busy. It was such a pretty, pleasant environment for a wonderful meal.
