This place has AMAZING food. I have gone back a few times now. I appreciate the slightly upscale versions of their food. It feels like the chef cooks with passion and it shows in the colors on the plate and flavors. I appreciate the veggies used too- nothing basic. read more

A good Mexican restaurant. Nice selection of food and drinks. I am very difficult to please as far as Mexican cuisine.

We went there on Sunday for a late lunch; they had only been open for two days. We were seated immediately and quickly brought water, chips and salsa. We then had to wait quite a bit of time for our server but they were rather busy for a Sunday and they were very new so I wouldn't hold it against them. Once we got/met our server the service was great with recommendations and every question answered. We started with the flauta/taquitos which we both really liked. Then I got the chicken nachos and my friend ordered the chicken tacos. I thought the nachos were delicious but they were rather pricey for a small amount. ($18 for 10 small nachos.) My friend's tacos were served cold and everything else had been served nice and hot so we took it to be that they are supposed to be cold. She won't be ordering those again. (They just weren't for her as she prefers hot tacos and more toppings on them but she loved their refried beans which had what she described as a bit of a smokey taste.) For dessert we got the churros and they were amazing! They even come served in a little 'cart' that just adds to the fun of them. We will definitely be going back again and trying other items that we liked the looks of on the menu. I think they are going to be a nice addition to Concord. read more

The service is poor. Our waitress didn't visit our table until after we'd been seated for more than 10 minutes. It took 20 more minutes to get drinks and then order. The food is ok. Atmosphere and decor leave much to be desired. read more

My wife and I had the most exceptional dinner here for her birthday last month. The food was EXCELLENT and exquisitely AUTHENTIC. There is not a better restaurant in the Concord area. My wife is a foodie who lived in New York for years enjoying the best of the best, and this place knocked her socks off. GO HERE NOW, don't look anywhere else. Get the churros when you're done. Definitely a place me and my family won't come back to. I ordered the pork belly tacos. They were small 2-bite tacos. Tortillas were dry and bland. Pork belly was decent. Rest of the flavors suggested in the menu description were severely lacking. Youngest daughter got pollo tacos. Menu description said tomato queso fresco and avocado. We asked for no avocado and queso fresco. Asked to add lettuce and shredded cheese. Server said cheese already came with it on the bottom of the taco. Tacos came out with no tomato, no shredded cheese or cheese on bottom, and lettuce was a salad mix with radish cabbage and carrots that we had to pick out. Daughter didn't like the tortillas for the same reason i didn't and said chicken was flavorless and dry. $18 for the chicken tacos and $20 for the pork belly tacos and it probably should've been no more than half that. The kids menu had chicken tenders and fries a cheese quesadilla, Mac and cheese and chicken and rice. Not very good for a kids menu esp at a Mexican restaurant. Oldest daughter ordered a carnitas burrito with only rice beans and guac. Burrito came with Curtido, crema, and red sauce and no meat. She had to send it back and it came back the way she ordered it and said it was decent. My wife got the beef chimichanga but it wasn't fried and came out the same way as the burrito. She didn't mind it and i had a few bites and it was decent. My youngest daughter's pink lemonade had black stuff floating in it and we needed a new one. The warm chips and fresh salsa and the churros were both excellent and worth getting. Our server Jose A. Was very good and attentive and was quick to correct the many mistakes the kitchen made. The atmosphere was nice: clean and presentable with cool murals and decor. Unfortunately the portion size and quality of the food didn't match with that. There was also another male server way that was not our server that kept approaching our table and asking me about my weight. I found that to be incredibly rude and disrespectful especially being done in a public place. We absolutely will not come back to this establishment. read more

been happily eating here since it opened. loved it. last night they refused to make cheese enchiladas as they have decided that cheese enchiladas are not upscale enough. seriously. we left and won't be back. restaurant was nearly empty of diners. would you have allowed paying customers to leave because their order wasn't classy enough? read more

The food, drinks and service were great. This is an outstanding addition to the town but I doubt we'll be back unless they start accepting reservations. With 2 children it isn't worth the risk of having to wait for a table when we arrive. read more

Bandoleros started out so great but has now crashed. Tonight was the third experience that will be the last after the previous two were marginal. The shrimp were oily and the rice was greasy. I write mainly to fore warn diners. it's not only the 100 dollars for the meal and tip but it's your time, bad experience and ruining the customers expectations and night out. Why is there no inspection of the food delivered to the table by the server or manager as it leaves the Kitchen? They would not consume food so poor!! read more

Had a great meal at Bandoleros tonight. First, the staff is truly helpful and tries very hard to please. In addition, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We had some guacamole to begin, which was excellent - perfect with light crispy chips. My husband had a burrito which was huge and delicious. I had the Emmolidos (not sure about spelling), but they were chicken enchiladas with a mole sauce and delicious marinated onions on top. I loved this dish. I used to get something similar in our favorite Mexican restaurant in NY and have never been able to find anything as good locally - until tonight. Our friends had the poblano and the enchiladas verdes. They both loved their meals. We also had some delicious passion fruit margaritas - perfect also! Thank you to our excellent waiter Gil, who put up with us staying for so long as we had not seen our friends in years. Lovely dinner! We will be back soon! read more

New game in town. Went because I read the review in the Boston Globe, and heard that it's often impossible to get in. We went early - 5:15 - and had no trouble as a couple was just leaving. The food was excellent. I ordered a poblano Relleno, which was fabulous --very melty inside. They could be a little more generous with the $11 guacamole serving. A really hopping place. Very busy Mexican grill restaurant. Have tried fajitas and grill plates. Can take a while to get seated but service once seated is fast. Food is very tasty and huge portions. They have special house made hot sauces if you ask for them. Tortillas are served with all dinners (very Mexican) thin and soft. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I will not be patronizing this restaurant again after the poor customer service I received last night. I ordered a fajita and a guacamole appetizer, takeout, and when I arrived home, there were no tortillas with the fajitas. This is actually the second time out of 3 times I have ordered Fajitas that this has happened! The first time, they apologized and said I should come back and they would give me the tortillas, which they did along with extra beans and rice (not really worth making the round trip drive, but I had another errand nearby and figured I could use them with the leftovers). Last night, when I called, the woman in charge suggested that I was actually lying, stating that she checks every order so this was not possible! Again, all she offered was to come back to get the tortillas, certainly not worth a half hour round trip drive!! The food was mediocre, nothing exceptional. Very frustrating... read more
